So many templates to choose from, they are easy to edit, and you can even upload your own design. It even keeps track of your RSVPs, reminds guests who haven't responded and sends a reminder the day before the event with the details. Cons Evite now charges for more that 10 guests to be invited. $14.99 is a bit much but that covers 75 guests, but I have to say I haven't hosted a party without it in over 5 years. Welcome to 2020 where everything is digital... including invitations for parties, conference, and even childrens parties. I have used this for each of my childrens birthday parties. What I like most is the ability to send out reminders for those who have not yet responded. Cons Honestly, as a user the appearance of the evite when it comes across. It has an ugly green banner across the top with a giant ad right in the middle of the evite. It takes away from it looking like a professional invitation. January 20, 2020 5.0 Overall, a great tool to invite people to invites through just email. Pros I have not actually created an event with this software, but I have received evites to many invites lately. A lot of my friends have been getting married and having children recently, so I have been receiving a lot of evites to baby showers and other similar events. This service is free and allows you to mass invite your friends to events through email! Forget hand-writing personalized event invitations to people; we're living in the digital age! There are cute templates available for a wide-variety of events that I have seen on the Evite website. Cons I have not had any negative experiences with this software yet. I have only been on the receiving end of the evite, but I plan on using this when it is time to send out invites to my own wedding events. I like that you do not have to be on the same network or using the same servers Cons Some people do not like giving personal information to evite. If you have signed up with evite before, this information is stored. Pros The online invitation makes my life a lot easier. It's much better than WhatsApp massage in every way and contains professional looks. In this tech, era email is much more appealing and professional than any other media. It really helps me to invest all my energy to manage the event cause I know evite will take care ally my invitation and sending reminder emails. I must say the registration and setup is one of the fastest and creating an event invitation is just a few clicks. The limitation for the free plan is very generous and all the options workes flawlessly. Cons The email does not show the invitation but contains a branded link, which is some time breaks and shows https error on mobile. It also sends reminders for me and makes it easy to manage. Pros This is a great, quick way to communicate information about an event in an appealing way and to collect RSVPs and even sign ups. It really makes communication much easier because it's a one-stop-shop. I also love that you can send reminders as the event date nears and others can view the RSVP list as well. It may not be the flashiest or most technologically advanced, but it will certainly get the job done with little fuss. Pros At my company, we primarily used Evite in the past in order to sent out invitations to parties and get-togethers following a trade show or convention. With that in mind, Evite was a simple system to get invitations out to a large group of people who are undoubtedly on the go. Cons Evite felt, at times, that it was not necessarily ortiented towards a professional setting so much as it was for everyday/personal use, and in that could feel a little hokey at times, but with the right imagery and wording, one could still use Evite to convey a professional tone and setting. " February 21, 2019 5.0 I use this site often to garner excitement for some of my teen events. It is very user friendly and allows me to gather all of the RSVP information I need. It's free but you can pay for more features and no ads. Pros I love that you can easily customize your e-invitation. From design themes to RSVP options, you can personalize this to fit your needs. You can also put instructions in the evite and allow others to see the guest list... or not. This is simple to use and creates clean, personal invites. Cons The only complaint I have is that when sending out a youth invite, the ad that displayed on the page was for alcohol. This comes with the territory because it was the free version. If it was a huge problem, I would pay the money to go ad-free. Other than the choice of advertising, no complains. Review Source Michael L. I like that it is customizable and free. We are able to send out invitations and capture RSVPs without having to spend money on physical invites or because of using our paid software. Pros I like that this is free. We use paid software that charges us per registration. With Evite, we can send out internal invites without being charged. I like that I can customize the invite for the office holiday party or for a baby shower. Because the guest list can accommodate up to 2500 people, no one is ever left out. Cons The part that I dislike might not actually be a problem with Evite at all. Often, invites do not actually make it to the inbox of the receiver. I will get so many online invites from other services and I always seem skeptical or wary at first. Evite is trusted and has backed up that trust with years and years of consistent quality of service and grows with technology to make event planning as easy as possible. Cons Not a negative to Evite, but most people use Facebook invites because they are already on the platform. It would be nice to see Evite grow to bring the end-all of all event and invite services. We will usually upload our own graphics with our branding to make sure people know it’s our event. Pros We like Evite because it’s easy to get information out about various church events. It’s easy to get registration information as well to help plan for events. Cons We like that you can invite previous attendee or invited guest however, if people wish to be removed from list you have to scroll through individually to remove people. I've used it mainly for birthday parties and it's very simple to pick a design, fill in the details and add your guests. It's also really helpful that, especially for birthday parties, you can add in the ability to specify the number of adults and children which then makes the rest of the planning much easier. Cons I've found that when I choose to hide my guest list, I'm not notified when people leave comments with their RSVPs. That would be a helpful improvement to make. However, I had trouble including a co-host Pros I loved the many cute and applicable design patterns for the invitations and the seamless connection to sending via email addresses. I can very quickly create an event and invite guests, even from my phone using the mobile app!! There are many templates that you can use to create themed invitations. I like that you can send communications to invited guests through the software app. I also like that reminder about the event can be sent to guests. Cons I have NO cons with the software at all. It serves its purpose. Pros It's simple. You can be as creative or as plain with the designs and invitations as you'd like. As a recipient, the features are easy enough: attending, not, maybe. It adds events to your calendar so you can keep track of things. Cons It's a little cheesy/old-school; email invitations and e-RSVPs seem a little outdated. But, it works, so it's not bad.
