### "ASCORA a business Game Changer"

Ascora has completely changed the way we run our business. Before, we were juggling multiple third-party software just to manage jobs, quoting, invoicing, and follow-ups, and it was a nightmare. Since switching to Ascora, everything is streamlined, and what used to take hours or even days is now done in a few clicks, even from a phone. The Ground Plan integration has been a game changer for quoting and job management, and the level of customisation means it actually works for our industry, not just a generic system that doesn’t fit. The support from the Ascora team has been great, and they’re always improving the system based on real feedback. Honestly, I just wish we found it sooner.

Pros

Ascora has completely streamlined our operations, saving us countless hours on quoting, job management, invoicing, and client follow-ups. Before, we relied on multiple third-party software solutions that never fully suited our needs, but Ascora’s customisation and automation have changed that. The integration with Ground Plan is a game changer, allowing us to take plans, generate quotes, and deliver jobs seamlessly. The ability to manage everything from a phone has made a massive difference for our field staff, and the ongoing support and updates from the Ascora team ensure it keeps evolving to meet real business needs. I only wish we had found it sooner. What I like most about Ascora is how customisable and practical it is for a real trade business. Unlike other CRMs that are either too basic or too rigid, Ascora lets me tailor everything to my exact needs, from job forms and safety documentation to invoicing, scheduling, and reporting. The Ground Plan integration is a huge time saver, we can take off from plans, generate quotes, and send them straight to the client in minutes this along took hours manually moving between platforms. The email automation features have also been a game changer, especially for client follow ups, job reminders, and invoicing, which has cut down a huge amount of admin time. Being able to do everything from my phone means I don’t have to be stuck in the office in front of the computer and can do a lot of my work on the fly that also make the general work flow more flexible. Ascora are always updating things the ongoing updates and support from the Ascora team make a big difference they really care and the developer is continually making it better every month, once Ascora is setup this software is the most powerful CRM tools on the market.

Cons

I found the initial impression can be underwhelming and can be hard to navigate but I found that is only because it takes time to learn once learned where everything is the power is amazing and then understand why there is so many features and options, if you have some setting not right you can run into problems but once setup correctly its great, small teething issues.

### "Ascora is a game changer for small commercial hvac companies"

I've had Ascora for about a week now. I was struggling for the longest time, especially as a owner/operator with no employees, to find a field service software that was affordable, but also provided the features I needed to go above and beyond for my HVAC commercial customers. The other software around their price range doesn't have equipment tracking, or the ability to make custom forms. Despite some cons, I'm extremely happy with Ascora, I haven't interacted with customer support, but I've been able to figure almost everything out so far which goes to show the user friendliness. A bit of a learning curve (took my an hour or so to be comfortable moving around) but once you understand the thought process behind it's pretty smooth.

Pros

Where do I start... value for money for sure. Equipment tracking is huge for me, custom forms are a game changer for keeping compliant with EPA refrigerant tracking. I was able to generate the form myself, using their website tutorial, and it went super smooth. I tested the forms on the app and couldn't believe how great it turned out. Most field service companies hide these behind paywalls or don't let you generate them yourself. Ascora is great about giving you all the tools and instructions.

Cons

For some reason invoice line items aren't automatically transmitting properly to quickbooks. Might be because the invoice layout is different, I'll have to dig in deeper. Right now I can get away with generating invoice on ascora, and dragging the invoice into quickbooks and having the AI on there transcribe it over. Works well that way. Ascora is an Australian company, so I've had to go in a change some settings such as tax name. Still trying to figure out how to change the date format to M/D/Y instead of default D/M/Y which can confuse American customers.

The provided all the features that more expensive software provided. I'm talking on par with companies charging 500/month/license. Pricing that a small business owner can't afford. This allows me to provide exceptional service and preventative maintenance records to my customers.

I've checked and the details provided aren't enough to identify you or your company so I'm unable to really tell what experience you had with Ascora and if you went through any form of training to be able to get the most from the platform. We do have more features than Simpro and ServiceM8 which makes training essential to maximise the value from the Ascora platform and minimise headaches. Ascora is allowing me to run my business with clarity and as the field app is easy to navigate it has meant that information is flowing freely from the field to the office.

Pros

Being able to manage your whole team from the Mobile App means you are always in control of your business. Supplier invoicing importing is reliable and concise and Xero integration is brilliant. The field staff pick up the software quickly and getting them to input data and follow process is easy because of this. As it is Android and Apple the staff can use their own phones if preferred for check in check out or use the company issued Ipad for more data heavy inputs. very flexible.

Cons

Ascora improves regularly and listens to it clients feedback to implement the most requested features where it is feasible. I would love to see some more direct integrations with wholesalers and have noticed that these may be on the way, i saw a reece integration for plumbing recently so am hopefull that there will be electrical wholesalers added in the future also.

SimPros mobile App was far in-superior and less intuitively easy for the field staff to navigate and record information. the Xero integration had less flexibility and the web portal in simpro was draining for me to use and navigate due to its design and layout. In SimPro you need a laptop in order to run your business from anywhere where in ascora i am able to do it form my phone or tablet.

Service m8 has poor profit and loss reporting and a poor progress payment system. doesn't integrate as smoothly with Xero and restricted to Apple products only. The money i am saving in ipads and work phones alone covered the first 2 years of Ascora subscription.

Overall Ascora wins the race in our business allowing us to operate in Multiple locations without having much teething issues.

Pros

Scalability and user friendly. Support is available via call and not emails after emails. Most issues got fixed in reasonable time

Inventory and barcode management. Team at Ascora improving software everyday so happy to wait

Was a bit involved in onboarding. Definitely requires the time and thought process to setup to your company. You cant pay someone to do this for you as you have the information and understanding in your head for what you need. It was a little overwhelming in the initial week however as we became familiar with the software it became easy. Having the support of the team at ascora and the online how to videos made it relatively easy stepping stones to get to where we needed to be.

Pros

That the software is complex enough to be able to be able to achieve more than its competitors without being hard to use. I found it has a lot more features than its competitors meaning we only need ascora and dont use any other additional softwares.

Cons

One feature in its P&L reports that doesnt break the job down into its stages and only does an overall P&L of the entire job. This is to be advanced to do this for us in a software upgrade which would be amazing.

It was the only software we felt that provided a full end to end package on everything we required.

Cons

Ascora have actively worked to develop new reports, however there are still periodically issues with the accuracy of the data. Some functions on the mobile App can be slow.

Pros

For the past 3 years we were using Software that was subpar. Not only could we not integrate any payment systems we use in the Company, but recently they cut ties with Xero integration, effectively tripling the workload in the office. After searching for the past couple of months for a replacement, we found Ascora. With the same feature set as all the other Field Management software alternatives out there, plus all the added features like Job Templates, Fully Customisable Quote and Invoice templates, SMS Integration from the start, and many more, The Price for all of this came WELL BELOW all the other competitiors. This is an amazing piece of Software and I cannot recommend it highly enough. 5 Stars!

Cons

Just waiting for other payment integration sfor automatic invoice payments.

We get to streamline our days. Spending less time taking calls and answering emails. We have a greater opportunity to expand and managing new employees will be a simple task that is now out of my hands. It is only just the early days for us and Ascora but I can see a very long and prosperous relationship.

Pros

I like how simple to use it is. I think Ascora is really affordable and as our customer base grows, the packages are tailored to suit. The customer support is amazing. If they can't get to your call, all I do is shoot them an email and they get back to me within 1 or 2 hours. They are very helpful when setting up your Client Portal and very supportive to guide you with integrations. I have some background in computers and software but it has been somewhat difficult to find something that my not-so "tech savy" wife can operate. Ascora offers streamlined flow from quotes to jobs to invoices. All at the touch of a screen, whilst standing on site. It knows where you are, where you are going and how long you should take to get there. Your clients can see what work has been completed by looking at their client portal where you can leave photo'sand notes of what else needs to be done. So far, all in all, I give Ascora 9 out of 10 overall. Nothing else I have seen comes close.

Cons

The only thing I don't love about Ascora is that it gives Apple the priority over Android and other platforms, with its new features and design. I'm a Google man so I am not pleased that I may have to go and buy myself an Ipad.

Pros

Promises everything and delivers nothing . Struggling to think of any positives. I had to sign up all of the field staff for training and pay up front. Got totally frustrated with the product in the end and asked for a refund but was refused.

Cons

Delivers nothing. After spending a couple of months trying to set the software up I got all the field staff in the office for training and it kept on crashing. I wasn't surprised as it was very difficult to set up and I had to make lots of compromises. The word workaround was used a lot for features they claimed to have but didn’t.

To anyone reading this review, the Ascora team worked for months at NO cost to Ken to implement features to improve the workflow for his business and for the benefit of all carpentry and construction businesses on Ascora. Similarly the Tradiepad team went above and beyond in an attempt to take Ken's business to the next level. Rather than be satisfied, unfortunately Ken was unable to really commit to implementing a change in his business, didn't bother to attend training sessions and went about making obscene and downright offensive phone calls. When implementing any new software for your business it is very important to commit to making the change and allocate the necessary time to be able to facilitate that change. This is especially true for any job management system as it becomes the platform for your business.

Ascora is a great tool that has transformed my business and made my life a lot easier. I would not be able to manage some of the variations that my project work sometimes requires. I believe this is one of the best tools on the market at this price point for builders

When using the mobile app the ability to not be limited to entering data only when in cell range and the background auto sync.

Cons

when i send invoices or make changed on the web site, it loads a overlay screen that locks me out from doing anything until the system has finish processing the request, this is annoying when really busy.

Everything is accessible on 1 app, no need for other add ons. Integrates seamlessly with our Xero. Automation of follow ups and updates is extremely useful, through both sms text and email. Custom forms and checklists for each job will save us a lot of amount

Pros

I like how you can almost completely automate the whole service delivery, from capturing and recording data out in the field, to having templates for quotes, jobs, invoices, and everything in between. It has auto follow up texts and emails. Check lists and forms for each job, means that we can do everything from one app. Its great

Cons

Custom forms, and custom invoice and quote templates where a little tricky to set up. But the service from the team at Ascora was amazing, and they helped us to get everything sorted in no time at all. I do recommend a ipad or apple device for the service app.

Its in Australia and access to support is fantastic. The system works great for our business and has a high level of flexibility to customise. There support response is fantastic and they really go out of their way to fix any issues or customised business requirements. They are not only a software provider for us but a business partner that we are looking forward to working with and expanding our business together. Keep up the great work..

It is off the shelf so some of the functions are not quite what we require for business however they are always willing to discuss modifications to suit our business..

Using from a laptop it wont work without an internet connection. Cant finish off jobs until you are connected
