The good reviews are employees. The real customers are speaking out, they hold you by force. It is ridiculous! Pros The idea of it... Other than that there is nothing good about this company. They want you to sign, they fill you with false statistics, they show no demo, then they dump you like a bad habit Cons Everything. They thrive on one goal! December 17, 2018 5.0 Pros Utilizing Podium as a tool to connect with our customers for reviews has been amazing! It's so great to know that we have Podium working for us to help connect with previous customers that we haven't been able to reach on that level! We've actually seen a lift in terms of word of mouth referrals ever since we started using Podium! Cons While Podium does work very efficiently it does take time to set up the review accounts to capture these reviews. Once you plug in the accounts and get going it is amazing! Cons Zero service on setting up this integration. Company doesn't reply to calls, texts, messages, etc after you sign the contract. Switched from [Chekkit](https://www.capterra.com/p/173154/Chekkit-Reputation/) Podium was to integrate with our point of sale, but they never got it set up, so we are switching back to Chekkit. Our business had started with Podium just before Covid hit hard. We are (almost) all 100% comfortable with using this system and prefer it over phone and email correspondence. It's easy, efficient, and is a great selling tool. Pros Many people prefer a text over a phone call to confirm deliveries and services. Podium makes this easier adn more efficient. It only takes a second to send the text message to your customer with a link to submit a review. We also enjoy that we can send our customers texts from our work computer and no longer have to do it from our person phones which means everything is found in one place. Cons We have a great experience using Podium. The only thing we could say that isn't positive is the initial set up was quite time consuming from all the long phone calls with different people. In reality it only took a couple of hours but when you only have a few employees that time is valuable. Other than that we love using podium! Review Source AW Ariel W. Beneficial to the customer and myself. Pros This software is easy to use, and I love that I can set up templates that help me answer the repetitive questions. Cons There is not a whole lot that I do not like, except for if someone else is responding to a podium, you have to refresh it several times to make sure you don't try to respond to the same one.
