Pros

Employee access, payroll is easy to use, timekeeping is easy to use

Cons

Points tracking, salaried employees who never use a timecard have to go to a timecard to request time off, no way to put notes on the termination screen-have to use another screen.

### "isolved solves our HR issues"

We were a challenging case for isolved because our company had never used payroll software previously. It took several meetings, but before long we were up and running. The HR department has been pleased with the customer service. As the accountant, I have been pleased with the vast array of reports I'm able to run when needed. I'm also very pleased that I no longer have to submit the payroll taxes! Isolved takes care of many jobs that I was having to complete before we implemented. It has been such a time-saver for our company. I would highly recommend them to other companies that are looking for payroll software.

Pros

This software is easy to use. As the accountant, I have all the information I need to complete my payroll related work quickly and accurately each month. I am always very impressed with all the different reports that are available.

Cons

Over the years, the thing that has caused the most frustration would be getting tax related issues resolved in a reasonable amount of time. I know our company has some more complex tax issues, so it is understandable. However, it can get frustrating waiting so long to get answers relating to IRS or State letters.

Reason for choosing isolved

This software was recommended to us and after checking into it, we decided it would be a good fit for our company. We did not look at other products.

They have been great as we moved from paper to digital over the last 2 years +. They have worked with us to make transitions easy and implementation go smoothly. Their customer support is amazing and I they respond to questions, concerns or issues quickly and efficiently.

Pros

Ease of use, and the many features that work together. Don't need 5 different passwords for HR Administration.

Cons

No real issues, some of the courses in Learn & Grow need some corrections.

### "Not for small business"

They Lock you in a contract beware. If you need HR this is for you. As a start up this was way to expensive and was sold on all it could do. They spend tons of time setting you up so prepare on lots of onboarding. My major gripe is setting me up without a California tax ID. I sent my Fed ID thinking that was it not being a payroll -professional. They open my account did my payroll and accrued my taxes. Months later refunded my state tax saying there was a problem. After back and forth it was the tax ID and I was hit for 5k plus in penalty’s by the state. Their contract covers them so suck it up. After many emails and months I did get 1700. I had HR and didn’t need it as well didn’t find a benefit at all. I was charged a cancellation fee over 1K and forced to renew contract to extend it. If your a small business don’t make the mistake of this company.

Pros

None better payroll and more small business friendly

Cons

Expensive not your best choice as a start up or restaurant

Pros

Payroll is a breeze with the advanced tracking capability of isolved.

Cons

Pros

iSolved is easy on the eyes, easy for employees to clock in/out, and navigate in the employee self service area. On the back end for employers, there are a lot of options for administrators to run reports.

Cons

The benefits enrollment portal is not easy to use for employees. It does not allow an employee to look at the benefit options side by side. It would be nice if it would be able to suggest what plan an employee should enroll in.

### "Horrible customer support"

There was no help figuring out my 401k enrollment. I emailed several times and was given a 25 page pdf to follow. Except it didn't work. So I called AGAIN. Lady was rude told me my old password was the password she just gave me. Turns out that didn't work because I had Isolved at a former job. weeks have gone by and no one is helpful. Also....when I first asked about enrolling they replied....we sent you an email. I looked and waited. NOTHING. Again I contact them...they then forward me an email that went to my personal email account 5 months ago. REALLY? I've asked for a supervisor 3 times. NOthing.

Pros

nothing there is nothing I like when customer service is so poor

I have been content with iSolved. I briefly changed to ADP since I was informed it would serve us better, and I advanced rapidly it was not the right assistance for us. I returned to iSolved. There were a few hiccups with that, similar to the estimating went up and we lost one of our administrations. I like the organization side; however a portion of the representatives battle with the AEE on the telephone (slow association with punch in/out for instance).

Pros

The client support is more advantageous than that of different administrations I have utilized in my situation, and it's important that I get opportune responses for finance and advantages. I additionally like that I know where to go to track down a wide range of reports.

Cons

I could do without the estimating construction, and I could do without that assuming we want other help additional items that the charges are fairly preposterous relying upon the assistance. I might want to have the option to assemble everything, we as a non-benefit we can't financially plan for a portion of the more extravagant things (HR help). A few reports are excessively nitty gritty and don't come in Succeed design.

Overall our experience with iSolved is proving to be a good investment.

Pros

Is very much a one stop shop. We do not have to have multiple vendors in order to meet all of the data collection and employee management that is required.

Cons

Screens with too many functions. Would rather have more screens to complete than having multi functions on one screen that have to be completed.

Love we can make it work for us, might not be exactly how someone else uses it, but so customizable.

Cons

There are so many reports and not always named what I think they should be named. I need to take the time to organize them.

Cons

building reports to make them what you need seems too complicated.

Pros

We love the options for services and add ons if needed. The platform is user friendly as well and customer service is great.

Cons

We still need a separate platform for timesheets because we do block shift schedules, it doesn't work for us

When I started with our organization they had time and attendance with a different provider and processed with iSolved. I moved everything to iSolved and it is such an easier process.

Pros

This software is very user friendly. The process of verification of time cards and then actually processing payroll is a smooth process.

Cons

I think the reports could be improved. I know they have a report writer that you can design your own reports but i have not had time to learn how to use it.

As an employee, user of iSolved for payroll, I completely despise this software. It is actually inconvenient in every aspect; iSolved is slow to the point I'm unsure if it is even working, an organization does not exist for users to perform tasks and customer support is not available for non-admin users even when it requires for an error page to be fixed! The product is so slow that even a "quick punch" takes extended moments to complete. If you go further into the program it only gets worse. Try setting up a request for PTO and you are muddled to believe the program didn't notice you pushed a button. oh, wait for it. it is thinking!! Back to requesting PTO/editing absences thinking you've found where it is located to realize the organization is really expressive creativity. "Employee Absences" and "Time Off Requests" are delightful in the fact they are both the same thing but are they really? You can perform one function in both but all other functions are split apart between these tabs pushing you further into a maze of the program. Forget about remembering how you did it the first time. When it comes to requiring to update a password the procedure is completely backward. Changing a password for a payroll system should be done during work hours. However, it is always on a Monday morning when I can't clock in and need to take the time to create a new password forcing me later to have my time card edited. It is possible to send an e-mail out a couple of business days before giving the option to either update it when it's convenient, during work hours! Bringing me to my last complaint that brought me to write a review, Customer Support. I have a great appreciation for customer support centers, they always get the brunt of frustrations and then continue to make sure the customer is satisfied. I feel they are the biggest asset in a company. I completely understand the problems that arise if you let a non-admin user contact customer support as every company has different procedures and that is why you create an admin. However, I am not allowed to contact customer support to clear error messages, my administrator needs to. Even when the program directed me to do exactly that. I am then directed to "take a screen shot of the required information", send it to my admin and have them forward it along. This is extremely inefficient. I will never recommend this product to anyone due to the fact that it is slow, unorganized and inefficient. I am shocked by how much our company is paying for this unprofessional program.

Very good, when I have question the service and assistance is phenomenal. I feel supported and guided to learn.

Pros

I love the ease of navigation and the organizational options and layout. It makes sense but also guides our HR Department to best practices.

Cons

I have only been using for a year, since I was hired with this company, the only con is that I have so much more to learn about it’s capabilities. I like the University but struggle finding time to take advantage of it. HR during Covid is time consuming.

### "Don't know how I survived without it."

Excellent. It took a while to get all the kinks worked out with the general ledger reporting but I knew from the first payroll I processed it was going to be a game changer. Dramatically reduced the time and effort for us to process payroll and expenses. Also our support person, \[sensitive content hidden\] , has been very responsive, professional and excellent to work with.

Pros

I solved handles the state and federal tax reporting which has become more complicated and we conduct events in different states. The direct deposit for pay was key. The mobile app and expenses processing helps us to manage our team of educators who work all across the east coast.

Cons

The expense module could use some additional functionality which I've requested to improve ease of use and reporting. Hopefully they changes will be added soon.

Very positive. It was my first experience with an HR benefits hub and I thought it met my needs very well.

Pros

I liked that this program was provided by my company as a one-stop-shop for all my benefits/compensation/HR needs. I could go in and add my time, see past time, request time off, review my benefits, report life changes, etc.

Cons

Although the utility of the program was really strong, I didn't much like the UI. I thought that the website as a whole was a little clunky and did not work well on mobile. I know that they are working on improving the UI and developing a more mobile friendly option, which I am excited about.

Pros

The customer service has made implementation very smooth. The communication has been excellent.

Cons

I was not part of the original implementation of the software here. Certain features were not set up properly, but I am unsure who was at fault.
