Isolved has made everything so much easier, freeing up some time to focus on other aspects of my job.

Pros

Isolved has simplified our difficult payroll process. It has streamlined our yearly insurance open enrollment. And has made it easy for with the People Cloud for out staff to access their own information. I couldn't be happier with Isolved.

Cons

The only draw back that I see is the inability to make custom reports. Other than that everything is great.

Using iSolved for both my work and personal functions has helped further my knowledge of the system and the capabilities of some different screens and how they interact with one another.

Pros

User friendly layout with a simplified design. For an end user who may not be the most tech savvy, screens are clearly labeled and not overly involved in terms of functionality.

Cons

Some steps of the developmental process could use a bit more time. For example a new performance module was just rolled out in the payroll system under the performance management tab, and there have been a fair share of hiccups in terms of the functionality of this area of the system such as some screens not loading or managers not showing as part of a review even though they are assigned to an employee.

Overall, the system was been great for our changing needs and our employees find it easy to use. It is worth the investment.

Pros

It is easy to use, easy to implement and the service is very responsive. The system is a true single database so employee management is simple as there is no double entry of data. Payroll and time are one, so employee pay is accurate and timely.

Cons

The scheduling features within the time platform could be better to compete with the stand alone scheduling platforms in the industry.

Overall, it is going well and I am pleased with the changes. I hope that the customer support can begin to roll out more features that were promised to us and if they can do that, that will help our processes.

Pros

I like how it tried to consolidate both the HR side as well as the financial side. I used to work in organizations that had two different systems and that was confusing. So, the fact it helps save money and time is good.

Cons

The company told us we could have our offer letter from this platform, but it hasn't happened yet. I feel like the sales team promised a bit more than they could deliver. The user face isn't as smooth as some other platforms, but it is not as bad as others as well.

### "Strong Functionality with a Useful New Chatbot"

Pros

It has most of the essential employee‑management features like onboarding and payroll. The recently added chat feature is excellent. The chatbot tells you exactly where to find any menu, and if needed, it connects you to a live agent so you can resolve issues without making a phone call.

Cons

It offers a lot of useful features, but the menus can be complicated, so it often takes time to find what you need. There is a search function, but in the past I had to look things up in iSolved University. Fortunately, the newly added chatbot has made things much easier.

Pros

Dedicated customer service support representative offered to the client. Payroll platform is easy to use.

Cons

There could be more product enhancements with the system itself. Sometimes, the system does go down.

For the most part isolved is a great product. I do think some set ups like time keeping could be streamlined as it takes many steps to get set up and maintain.

Pros

I like that isolved has so many options for companies of all sizes. It offers so much for large businesses but doesn't forget the one employee companies.

Cons

I don't like the fact that new items are released and do not work as designed. I think isolved should do more testing before releasing changes and updates.

Pros

The offered product is great. We utilize the payroll, onboarding recruitment, reviews and makes things smooth.

Cons

Interface could be more friendly. Especially for the mobile side. It's not as user friendly as it can be.

I absolutely love i-solve, I would not use any other platform at this time ever. I have used it in other companies and i have the same thing to say.

Pros

Customer Support, Ease of Use If i ever have any question i call and i am always helped. The reps even stay on the phone with you to walk you through processes,

I haven't found anything I haven't liked about i-solve. it is a great system very user friendly. I love it.

When I started at my new job, we used iSolved for managing both our financials, and arranging PTO/substitute teacher needs. It was easier than any other system I'd used until then.

Pros

iSolved is a great user interface, and is great for managing payment processing. The ease of use is high, and it was one I preferred.

Cons

iSolved has two halves - one for financials and one for PTO. It can quickly get confusing trying to navigate which one you need to be in.

My overall experience has been excellent. I can access the platform seamlessly, whether in the office or working remotely. The support staff is exceptional—professional, responsive, and always helpful. I also appreciate the system’s user-friendly navigation, making HR tasks effortless.

Pros

Cons

It would be great if the report writer offered more flexibility in generating various reports for HR metrics. While there are some customization options available, having the ability to refine reports further would be highly beneficial.

Here’s a short list of the disasters we’ve endured: Payrolls that only paid mileage, skipping the employees’ actual hours worked. A double payroll run that over-drafted our account by thousands — with no explanation and no accountability. A promise to reimburse overdraft fees ($50+) that, of course, never happened. A complete lack of urgency, communication, or care in fixing anything — no matter how severe the issue. We’ve spent more time cleaning up iSolved’s messes than actually running our business. This is not a solution — it’s a liability. And now, as we try to terminate, they’re sending us surveys disguised as binding agreements, trying to force us to acknowledge charges we didn’t approve and still can’t get clarity on. It’s shady, it’s frustrating, and it’s deeply unprofessional. If you value your sanity, your time, and your money — do not go near iSolved. There are plenty of payroll companies out there that at least pretend to care about your business. This one doesn’t even try.

Pros

If I could give iSolved zero stars, I would. Working with iSolved has been the single worst experience we’ve had with any payroll or HR provider. From the moment we signed on, it’s been a non-stop cycle of billing discrepancies, incompetent support, broken systems, and complete lack of accountability.

Cons

We were overcharged dramatically compared to what was discussed and agreed upon. When we asked for a breakdown — repeatedly, for months — we were given the runaround, bounced from one department to another, and told “that’s not my responsibility” more times than I can count. To this day, no one has been able to explain what we were actually paying for. Our so-called “dedicated support rep” was impossible to get ahold of. On the rare occasions he answered, he’d put us on hold indefinitely and then disconnect. And that was the norm.

Pros

Simplicity, I sincerely appreciate your ability to facilitate comprehensive customization, allowing it to perform any desired function. It is highly adaptable in every aspect.

Cons

Changes. This appears to entail numerous updates and modifications at very inconvenient times. The alterations are advantageous, although some of the modifications are merely superficial.

Ease of use, customer service is great, implementation team is fantastic. Resources offered are great.

Cons

PTO tracking is not suited for our needs bc it is set up on accruals. I understand the reasoning behind it, just not ideal for us.

Overall iSolved has the cleanest layout, more options/configurations, and is user friendly compared to other providers. iSolved stays on top of fraud protection and constantly improves pages and functions which aids in client retention.

Pros

iSolved has many features that triumph other payroll software's. The reporting tab stands out the most, with numerous reports to choose from to support our clients and allow them to audit with ease. iSolved is very user friendly, allowing our clients to feel at ease after hopping on board. I love how there is an iSolved University partners/SB Users/clients to learn and find quick help videos and articles. iSolved has it's own community where we learn from others and come together as one.

Cons

While I loved how iSolved is constantly releasing updates and fixes, they often break other things in the process. There are neat updates they release, however it seems like aesthetic updates make up the majority. There's been a few things on the idea portal that would benefit most service bureaus/partners, yet it seems to be a slow process to get our voices heard.

The release notes can be a bit vague. While the content of the release is good, the context and logic can be confusing.

Pros

The reporting feature is extremely helpful for maintaining compliance processes and year-end tasks. Most things do have a work around if they are not a feature of the system (yet).

Cons

There are delayed responses or sometimes inconsistencies in responses from customer service. There are multiple ways to accomplish certain tasks, but sometimes the guidance can take longer when it's inconsistent.

I gave isolved a three rating. The payroll process is streamlined and customer service is helpful. However, the tax department withheld unemployment tax but failed to pay the state. Each time I attempted to resolve they offered a different reason but a year later, the issue still has not been resolved.

Pros

The customer service for the payroll solutions is prompt and provides great customer service.. Reports are easy to run

Cons

The tax withholding division failed to pay my unemployment taxes properly and it has taken over a year to resolve, costing my company several thousand dollars of lost revenue. The PTO balances only update once payroll is processed so staff may take too much without knowing they did not have any PTO left.

I do not recommend this company. My rep refused to put me in touch with her supervisor so that I could properly transition out of the software. Small businesses don't have time for this. If you did your job, I wouldn't be leaving.

Pros

The customer service reps were mostly pleasant. They were unable to make a lot of the important decisions though.

Cons

On three occasions, my staff was not paid after money was debited from our business account. There is poor communication with reps. My rep changed several times and never for better.

clunky. I felt like the account reps are switched a lot. As soon as you ask for something you get a new rep and the new rep knows even less and has less feedback for improving the job listing than the previous rep. Might as well just use AI yourself.

Pros

They post to a bunch of different sites to get candidates. I did hire two techs from the resumes they produced but had more and better luck on my own.

Cons

The billing is confusing. I wanted to start an ad and they started billing me as soon as I emailed saying I wanted to start even though it took 12 days for the ad to go live. A good chunk of that time I was waiting for the company to respond. That doesn't seem right to me. Of the techs I have hired, I have had more luck from my own job ad on a job board I posted using AI....

Overall my experience has been good. Like any relationship, there have been hiccups but iSolved has always listened and worked to improve.

Pros

I find it's very user friendly for both an admin and an employee and is a very comprehensive platform for all of my HRIS needs.

Cons

Getting to the right department past Tier 1 customer service has always been a challenge but iSolved has been working to improve this process.

Overall I am enjoying using iSolved and all the resources available to me now. Plus I feel like I am able to connect with other users if I ever had any questions.

Pros

I enjoy the community and how much they are committed to self improvement. There is also a ton of resources made available to you to help you improve professionally.

Cons

The verification processes can take a while but its understandable why that is. So I can't really say it bothers me but if I had to pick something then this would be it.

I love using isolved for our dependent care accounts. Easy to use and don't have any issues. My balance is right there.

Cons

Sometimes navigating the site is a little hard but once you get used to it, it's pretty easy. No employees have had issues.
