Always interested to discover more of its features Pros We adopted the NFP version in 2025, which was step up from the old school paper shuffle. It has made for a simpler, more efficient flow of information and meeting management. Cons Nothing specifically. That is sorted now and I am able to log in directly to each organisation. It's simple and intuitive to use. Being able to set your agenda in separate sections around strategy, noting, approvals etc. makes it useful for Directors to understand where they need to spend their time. Pros BoardPro is easy to use, hold all of your key documents in one place. It makes it easy to induct new Directors, who can choose what documents they would like to read, knowing that the documents are always there. The cost of BoardPro is good value for money for this sort of tool Cons Don't accept excel files, our Risk Register is on excel and becomes too small once converted to a pdf. I am so glad we made the leap into a board software and BoardPro has made it extremely easy. Pros BoardPro has been excellent for us automating our board minutes. Creating them directly from the agenda makes the process so easy. The customer support at BoardPro has been too-notch and I have been really impressed. The value you get with BoardPro for the money spent is extremely valuable. Cons To be honest, I don’t have anything I don’t like about BoardPro. I would recommend a more robust calendar view of board meeting events, and the ability to create other board related events (not board meetings) that can be viewed and filtered on the same calendar view. This way board members can see all events and board related activities that are important for them doing their job governing the body of their organization. The minute taking process is also very good, easy to produce and then easy to confirm in the next meeting pack. Pros Easy to use, easy to load up papers and share information with Board members. Well structured to identify decisions, noting, etc and easy to attach papers. Cons Having to move between agenda and board pack in the checking phase. When I've finished a draft version of the pack being able to download and review the entire pack is not entirely intuitive. I also find the built in help topics generally helpful. When I have needed further guidance, I have been able to submit my question and get personalised responses. Pros It is easy to create agendas and upload documents. I also really like the flying minute function and ability to create Board only folders. Cons The search function is generally good - it searches within document titles for the whole site, or for keywords within a particular board pack. However I would also love the master search function to search for keywords within documents. Compared to what I have worked with before, BoardPro has not only helped to keep meetings organized, but has also sent reminders weeks in advance of when the meeting is, who will attend and if any changes are made to the scripts. This has made my experience in a school board favorable. Pros The ease of use. Very easy to display and communicate idea's to a board. Somewhere where we can efficiently organize different sections of our discussions so that we can follow a strict order and timeline. Timeline is key in a school board setting to fit around other commitments Cons Sometimes if I left the meeting pack mid meeting to write an email/check another script, I would find that I would get redirected midway through and would have to find my way back to the page. Built-in reminders ensure nothing gets missed, helping me stay organised and on track. 3. Post-meeting follow-ups are straightforward, with clear options for assigning tasks and tracking progress. Cons The only Con that I can think of is that there is no Built-In Chat Feature The platform lacks a chat functionality, which means board correspondence cannot be centralised within the tool. Appreciated that heaps. Pros So easy to do minutes live and then edit later. So easy to track everything even if board doesnt use it fully. Easy to centralise communications. Minutes look really nicely laid out. Board pack is excellent - wasn't sure if it had contents, love that it did. Cons When I use a set template to create an agenda, I can't edit parts of that template that don't work for me. I have to delete the whole thing and start again building my own. We can check that the documents have been received and opened and can get quick responses to any questions or motions. It makes for a very efficient well-informed Board meeting, and it cuts out endless sheets of paper copies to wade through that had to be sent out well before the meeting. It is simply awesome!!! Pros The Board pro is excellent for our Board - we are an amateur New Zealand Heartland Rugby Union. The system allows us to easily connect all reports/photographs and deliver them easily before the meeting to all members to read. The system ensures that we have a swift but informed meeting every time. It is incredibly user friendly and very efficient. It allows us to be organized and systematic - ensures we stick to the meeting agenda as it is all set out for us to consider systematically.
