It certainly beats a word doc that is cumbersome and huge to manage. Pros The automatic restructuring of the board pack when changes and the order of things when they are changed. Cons The inability to "unpublish" the board pack. The constant messages or emails that Board Members get with the slightest changes. It has streamlined the process and reduced administrative tasks. Pros So easy to use, makes agendas and minutes easy and quick to complete, while saving time and money on printing. Appreciated that heaps. Pros So easy to do minutes live and then edit later. So easy to track everything even if board doesnt use it fully. Easy to centralise communications. Minutes look really nicely laid out. Board pack is excellent - wasn't sure if it had contents, love that it did. Cons When I use a set template to create an agenda, I can't edit parts of that template that don't work for me. I have to delete the whole thing and start again building my own. Also am very pleased so far with the system functionality that I have learnt. Pros Documents are easy to access as is any additional papers. Speed of access is also important. Storage of previous sets of papers is very good Cons Difficult to write notes on the papers. The online training was very clear and I was able to trial BoardPro for free on my own, then with the wider Board before committing to a subscription. I would highly recommend this product to any Board Secretary. Pros Very user friendly and logical. As the Secretary of our Board I am quickly and easily able to produce Board Packs and send these out. Cons I would like the ability to allow downloads for specific documents and not others. Highly recommended. Pros Intuitive interface and processes. Easy to setup and use. Cons Limited integration with Outlook (one-way) means meeting invitations sometimes double up or are out of date. Manual workarounds are possible to address this minor issue. Both for my limited time as a governor and for the team managing the governance processes for the Boards I am on. Pros Cost effectiveness. Ease of navigation. I use it on two Boards, one of which is supported online by a virtual Board Secretary and the platform enables seamless management of papers, notes, flying minutes and governance documents all in an easy find structure. An easy programme to use with specific functions for governance work. The layout of the menu bar is clear dashboard, meetings/calendar schedule, actions, documents...etc. are all really clear functions helping governance/board meeting support. i really enjoy the easy transfer of info for minute taking, confirming minutes for upcoming meetings and communication with members. it's really easy to use overall Cons To duplicate agenda items into future meetings. For example, I have a scheduled meeting for December and previous agenda items from September I would like to duplicate an item/s for December meeting instead having to re-write it/copy paste etc. I know I can re-create a new meeting and duplicate agenda items that way but it would be great to be able to duplicate specific agenda items AND its content into meetings instead deleting the meeting and starting a new one Also, if there was a way to connect our outlook app to the schedule meeting as an event and inform our members, team. that would be great Review Source KG Kim G. It makes a big difference to how organised I feel in advance of meetings, and stores all my papers and minutes in ones place. Pros Board Pro makes managing, reading and annotating board papers easy. It also helps me to track my actions; I am on a lot of committees, and it is easy to lose track without this help. Cons I like BoardPro a lot. Pros The ease of organising a meeting and sending the appropriate documents to the Board members. We can check that the documents have been received and opened and can get quick responses to any questions or motions. Ease from agenda production, calendar entry, through to final minutes. Cons Nothing really to dislike. Would love to have a \[sensitive content hidden\] register, showing movements (appointment & resignation dates). A shareholder register would be useful too. Would be useful to allow actions to be assigned to more than one party (ie sometimes a group are needed to progress an action, rather than one person).
