August 13, 2019 5.0 We use emburse to fund our contractors on marketing programs. I have had nothing but positive experiences. Pros We love the ease of the Emburse. It is great to use with contracted employees. Cons I have had no issues with Emburse. Reason for choosing Emburse Cards Emburse provides the coverage that we need as a company who hired contractors on various programs. Pros The fact that you can have unlimited cards both virtual and plastic. Cons I was under the impression that it could be used as an ATM debit card and it cant be. Cons Need to capture more information from merchants where cards are used. Fraudulent transactions are hard to chase down due to the limited information provided by the merchants. Cons I wish there were more reminders that specific tasks haven't been done before freezing the card. I know this is a tough one! August 13, 2019 4.0 Overall, we have mostly satisfied the need for purchase request, spending flexibility, and tracking of each employees spend. Pros The feature that I like most about this software is that I am able to adjust spending ablilities easily whenever needed, even if the employee is out of town. Cons Unfortuneately there can only be one "rule" applied. So if you have that rule set, there isnt a clear option for another rule or additonal funds. We were using a traditional credit card that had to be attached to an individual person which was then attached to their personal credit. I love that it is easy to cancel or add cards as new people come in. Pros I love the ease of adding people and seeing all the transactions being made and making limits for employees and requiring them to input categories, receipts and notes. Cons I would like to be able to sort the transactions by "pending" so I can see what is still outstanding. I would love for the software to integrate with QuickBooks for desktop.
