Pros It's very easy to use and the price is lower than the competitors that I've tried over the years. The UI is intuitive and for the past 10 years (on and off) it's always been reliable. Cons I still wish the price was a bit lower, but it's cheaper than the others I've tried, such as SalesHandy and Instantly.ai. While the software itself is easy to use, the early-stage sending restrictions did not align with what I understood prior to purchase. Because of this, I switched to Mailchimp, where I was able to send a 30,000-email campaign almost immediately. Additionally, I was offered a $50 bill credit in exchange for leaving reviews on multiple platforms. While incentives are not uncommon, it did raise questions for me about how representative the overall ratings are when reviews are incentivized. I would recommend that prospective users carefully review initial sending limits, warm-up requirements, refund policies, and how reviews are collected before committing. Pros The platform has a clean interface and is easy to navigate. Campaign setup is straightforward, and the sequencing tools are simple to use for organizing outbound email outreach Cons The initial sending limits were much lower than expected. At signup, I understood that I would be able to send up to 2,000 emails per day, ramping up to 10,000 emails per day as the email domain warmed up. After raising concerns, I was told that my account could be set to send 1,000 emails per day immediately based on the number of mailboxes I had. During a live Q&A session, I was told this change was being made, and I also received an email confirming that it had been updated. However, more than 24 hours later, the sending limit remained unchanged at roughly 310 emails per day. This lack of follow-through was frustrating and materially impacted campaign timelines. When I attempted to cancel due to these issues, a refund was denied. Pros I actually paid a consultant to pay for a workflow automation that already existed in Mailshake and how it interacts with the CRM I use. Prioritizing outreach is the chief function I rely heavy on. What's more is Mailshake is founded on logical outreach meaning they wont let you cut corners on good practices to achieve high response rates. It is the reason I use it daily to manage my email outreach. Cons It was be cumbersome to sort data at times around intuitive design. Nothing major though. Cons There aren't many issues that I've faced but if I could add one feature it would be to integrate a way of storing and dialling phone numbers of my prospects. I did a lot of research before signing up for Mailshake. One major reason I decided on this platform is that it’s feature-rich without being so complicated that I would have too much difficulty using it. So far, I haven’t been disappointed—and I’m looking forward to being able to make even better use of the service during the weeks ahead (I know I haven’t yet taken full advantage of everything I could have). Pros One of the best parts of my experience with Mailshake so far is the excellent customer support I've been getting from the company's care team. It's been a tremendous relief knowing that \[sensitive content hidden\] will always respond promptly and conscientiously during business hours. To me, they seem more like good friends than tech support people I don't really know. The platform has many wonderful features. One of my favorites is Office Hours, held at the same time every week (on Wednesday). It's great to be able to drop in to ask your questions, get feedback and listen/learn from other subscribers. Cons There is admittedly a certain learning curve involved with using the platform. Also, it does have its limitations and bugs, though I believe that the company will work toward improving what needs to be improved upon. I have a level of subscription that works for me and opportunities to upgrade in the future. Recently while dealing with a question about an unrelated matter, Ismael,one of the service team, spotted a potential problem with how I had set up my emails. They highlighted the issue and explained carefully how I could resolve it. Incredible service: spotting issues on my behalf. I’m a very satisfied customer. Pros I find the service meets my needs. There's the opportunity to upgrade in the future if I wish. Vey good customer service. Cons There was a log in issue on their website. I spent a lot of time trying fix why I couldn't sign in. I contacted customer serivce who explained th e problem was at their end. I thonk they shoild have put up a banner on site explainig the issue. Easy to get onboarded, didn’t need much support to get going. It does what I need without overcomplicating things. The deliverability’s been solid and I can track clicks and replies right in the dashboard. Honestly it just works. Pros It’s really simple to use and does exactly what I need without being bloated. I’ve used tools like Lemwarm and Apollo before, and honestly Mailshake just feels less overwhelming. Super easy to set up a sequence and get started. No fluff. Gets straight to it. Cons Not really a con, but it doesn’t have as many features as some other platforms. Like you can’t source leads or do deep prospecting inside the tool itself. I guess that’s not the point of it tho—it’s more about the outreach. Cons Not much, as it has worked perfectly for me. There is an issue with my email account disconnecting on their software randomly, but it seems only to happen when I go on vacation :). Pros I have used multiple cold drip email marketing tools like lemlist, apollo but their delivery rate is very low and mailshake has the best delivery rate so far which is the best thing I liked about this software apart from list cleaning feature. " July 26, 2018 5.0 Productivity Pros I had no idea that something like this even existed. I have to often do cold outreach to the journalist community to feature some of our organization's writings. This tool makes doing this task such a breeze! The ability to use mail merge and auto-follow ups scheduled at specific times of my liking is simply genius. The tool offers tremendous flexibility in terms of letting one respond based on recipient behavior. The tool also offers statistics at every stage of the campaign giving insights such as how many people opened my email, clicked my links as well as unsubscribed. MailShake also offers templates which have been tested and known to elicit responses. This is probably one of the most well-designed tools I have ever used. Cons I don't think there is anything I dislike about this product. A small glitch I observed was that it counts out of office responses too as a lead, but that is a minor quibble I am willing to overlook. Pros Mailshake is my go to tool for doing cold email outreach. It's very easy to setup and use and allows multi-step followup sequences for your email campaigns. They also have an email scrubbing tool you can run your lists through to ensure that you do not get a high bounce rate and hurt your email sending repuation. It doesn't have some of the bells and whistles that some similar tools offer but it's easy to use and works perfectly every time. Mailshake allows me to personalize emails for myself and other individuals on my team, and track responses, with simple rules to avoid a spammy feeling. Our open rates are through the roof, and emails are sent successfully. I also really appreciate the alerts when I am sending to new lists, to avoid sending to people who may already be in another email drip or have previously unsubscribed or converted.
