Different features like, smart photo editing, smart design tools, advanced drafting, detailed fill patterns, and ability to produce reports/analytics in timely manner. Again, I would still use it if my clients requested. Pros Have used CAD Pro for years but my work has required Revit now for about 99% of what I do. Maye a professional understand the functions better. In my opinion the average user will have difficulty using it and there are better an more economical products that offer free trials or pay only after you complete your design an need to export it. The didn't respond at all to my support request letting them know my dissatisfaction with their product. Pros Nothing about CADPro is good. It is the worst software I have ever tried to use Cons It is so difficult to navigate. simple things like line thickness are difficult to access. The way it layers is also sketchy. things get moved out of place and it is difficult to move them back and layer correctly without deleting hem and starting over. It is just pure junk. Pros First of all is an affordable and user-friendly CAD software; Compatibility with Microsoft; Easy to use as a contract Cons The rendering in 3D is not that realistic that you actually imagined. It’s like a chipper version of Autocad but you get what you pay for. Pros So simple and easy to use what make it one of the most flexible chosen products to do your works and make smart designs and use architectural tools effectively Cons The software limitations are one of the bad things in it, it requires a really powerful high-quality computer so as the works be more fluent and quick to use. Also the complexity of the software could be more simple so that needs more work and updating. Pros I haven't been able to use it after buying it, sooo I wouldn't know... Cons I originally bought anew computer and the bought the program. I installed it and less than a few hrs later I had to return the computer due to the charging port malfunctioning. I went to download the program again and it wont let you download twice...The customers support is a lie.. They make up lame excuses why you didn't get a response email to your issue like check your spam folder, your fire wall, or blah blah. I contacted Customer Support by email and have had no response from them in over a week. I asked for help with drawing a curved wall and how to produce a 3D drawing. Pros The price was attractive and the pictures on line led me to believe it would fill my needs. Cons I can't draw a curved wall. Can't figure out how to "undo". When placing a feature, I don't know how to install only one. I have to cut the second item in order to switch features to be installed. I am unable to re-install CAD Pro on my new computer without paying the full cost again. Emails sent to CAD Pro have NOT been answered. Pros The price and not much else. Downloading was ok. General Building Contractor Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Not Great" November 7, 2018 3.0 When I wanted to backup the file that I was working on, I sent it to a flash drive. After several attempts to open the file from the flash drive I realized that I had no way of opening the it due to the fact that the program is in a CPF format. When I went back into the CADPro program to reopen the file, I discovered that it had also been deleted from the CADPro program. I lost a second file while trying to save it within the CADPro program itself. I sent a request for some guidance via email to CADPro customer service and have yet to get any response. After losing hour of time developing drawings only to loose them, I can't recommend this product. Pros The cost was one of the main reasons that I purchased this product. The system was relatively easy to learn and the quality of the product was decent for the price. Cons Creating a backup file through the "Save As" process can be problematic. It would be great if the program had a "Backup" selection choice under the file menu. the drop down menu selections for things like doors, windows, etc. are very limited. The instruction manual is a bit tricky to navigate as well. Save your money buy paper and a pencil Pros I was able to draw out my floorplan of my main level. However once I wanted to draw footings, roof, rafters, foundation, actually anything I was not able to do any of this. It is truly easier and cheaper to buy paper pencil and ruler and hand draw your plans then it is to use this to draw a single floor layout. And don't think for a minute you can draw foundation or rafters. NO CAN DO! Cons The program is unable to do any simple tasks, Zero help options, ZERO online support, Don't waist your money this program is trash. I contacted customer service after some initial exasperating experiences and asked for a refund. They responded quickly with a threat from their legal team but offered no help for the functional problems. I replied asking for help with the product but received no response. Honestly, this is the type of customer experience that obscenities were made for. Pros Cad Pro is a cheap, functional design program that fills very basic needs once you get over the learning curve of using it. Cons The software is clunky and full of glitches. Crashes often with too much complexity and is lacking in overall ease of use. The company's customer service is aggressive but unhelpful. Could not figure out simple features and their is nothing that gives a tutorial link or a how to on the software. Cons Not user friendly in the slightest bit. Claims it is able to do all kinds of great things but not a single tutorial or how to video to be found in dozens of searches.
