Pros

Its easy to use if you learn how to handle it.The setup calls are very helpful, if you need support you get feeback from support team in a few hours.

Cons

Sometimes for some hard use cases its not that easy usable. But most of the times, you will find a workaround to use it for such cases. The admin backend is only available in english, maybe for the future, german would be great.

Very good, booking for parties is much better enabling us to maximize bookings, normal online bookings are great overall

Makes our online bookings alot easier especially around parties and group booking, accounts are very easy to interpret and see

can sometime be hard to work out how to do something but a quick email to support and it is sorted very quickly

Very good training and very easy and good to use. There are many sections you can look at to identify parts of your business.

Pros

It is easy to use and provides a lot of information. Very up to date and user friendly. The program is able to section information which is easy to retrieve.

Cons

We would like the program to advise us who our existing customer are and who are new but it cannot help us with that although I have raised it.

### "Solid system with some upgrades needed"

Overall I am happy with how Roller functions, I've seen better systems but also worse! It's a solid system.

Pros

The Roller user interface and the customer support are good. Functionality of the system overall is good too.

Cons

Some limited ticketing functionality and complicated set up processes initially. Support in set up could have been better - we definitely required a bit more hand holding!

Easy-to-use booking system for customers. No manuel adjustements in accounting with all the GL being imported in Roller.

Cons

Data export analysis when you have lots of venues, it needs to be done venue per venue instead of an overall overview.

Difficult & inflexible to deal with. Inflexible and slow to pass on funds through their payment system.

Pros

Inflexible arrangements & quite an arrogant approach to the market. There are now more flexible workable offerings available from other providers. We will not be renewing.

Cons

They hang onto your money and i suspect invest in short term money markets

### "Fantastic product all Rolled into one."

Overall I'm very happy with Roller as its allowed us to have complete control all in one package, where as previously we used multiple products.

Pros

The main thing that sold Roller to me was the ability to sell multiple sessions and still have the sessions in the "break time" up for sale, this opened our available sessions and instantly made a difference to our capacity. The fact Roller is the POS, online booking and payment solution all rolled into one, where previously we used multiple different softwares to achieve. The money I saved in transactions from using Stripe off set the monthly cost of Roller which came with additional benefits.

Cons

At present roller can't send the gender API to our timing software which means our categorised leaderboards don't work correctly without manually having to change every customers profile. "Please Fix!"

The experience has been positive so far. The system has met all of our interim needs.

Cons

Response times on some tickets have been lengthy Unable to text/email tickets sold at POS to a customer phone for scanning at a later date. We had to use physical ticket stock to combat this Fixed confirmation email template, inability to fully customise to a single event series or product Very limited function in check in app

### "Inexpensive but hare to use."

It has been a mostly negative experience for myself, my team, and many of my customers.

Pros

The cost is the reason we are still with roller.

Cons

You probably won't want to use my review. I find roller much more difficult to use that other software we have used. The price point is the only reason we are still using roller. Because it is less expensive than other platforms we deal with the difficulties it presents. I think it is confusing for our customers. The reporting causes us much grief. We have not been able to find good customer support. I think the time difference makes it a little hard. People are nice once we get a hold of someone. The new progressive checkout is causing us lots of stress. It just doesn't work with how we have been doing things. We still aren't sure how we will make it work and I think it will cost us some customers because it is hard on the check out side. We get so many calls from customers that we have to help through buying the tickets. I don't always feel sorry for my employees that are using it all the time. The feel frustrated a lot. I'm sorry this is so negative. However, I own a business and I appreciate honest feedback from customers. I am letting you know this as if you changed a few things I think your system would be much better. I know that's easier said than done.

Overall the system is good, particularly for the front of house staff. The limitation is for the reporting and integration functionality.

Pros

Ability to sell online, check in / out functionality

Cons

Reporting and integration. The reports to be able to produce balance sheet items like debtors, customer deposits in advance and gift cards can only be produced by extracting the revenue reports and takes a considerable amount of time. It doesn't currently integrate with Quickbooks so all entries must be bought manually into the software.

### "All in one product"

Overall, very positive, it is always good to see Roller is trying to update itself and open to receive feedback

Pros

One software which does our products, stock, gift cards. We were using multiple softwares in the past to do the same thing which they were not integrated as well.

Cons

Some functionality is missing like moving sessions on POS, integration with Volare for karting purposes. updates on corporate packages as it is more customized rather than the fixed schedule like parties.

Online booking is very good, customer can make booking any timeand Pos is easy to use and set up

Fee too high, can not block American express and we need to email about our problems (this is really not good for people with bad english writing skills)

Overall, I really enjoy using the platform. It’s easy for my team to use the POS, the waiver kiosk does its job, and the venue manager and online checkouts are great.

Pros

Visually, Roller is superior to our previous system. Both the POS and Venue Manager are simplified and easy to “sift through.”

Cons

There are bugs that seem to pop up regularly. A schedule will suddenly be missing a ticket variation or a POS button suddenly disappears and then reappears before we can figure out why.

Roller is much better than software I have used previously. The biggest concern I have is reliability of critical kitchen printer communication. I would also like to have reporting functions that compartmentalize by sub-departments and sub-categories in the software.

I like the cashier interface with the touch screen. Very user friendly.

Cons

I have had some direct guest impacts from kitchen printer communication failure.

I have used roller for the past 3 years and it only took me a few minutes to understand the basics of it. It is suitable for so many different things, and the simplicity makes sure that even the younger employees understand how to use it.

Pros

How easy it is to use roller, the interface is very easy to use which makes creating bookings and taking payments fairly simple.

Cons

Since the last update it became a bit harder to use the calculator for counting cash

I use Roller every morning and nearly every evening to manage staff across several branches round the country.

Pros

Great layout. Things are really easy to find and super easy to understand and therefore, teach other staff about.

Cons

Sometimes account get sent to areas they aren’t allowed to access despite not trying to access them. This seems like a relatively simple bug.

### "Flexible fields please."

Implementation and training happen to those in charge of purchasing roller and much of what we do on a daily basis we had to figure out on our own with trial and error. Currently my confidence that we are doing it most efficiently is low.

Pros

pricepoint. We have a unique application and it doesn't always fit what we need, but niether does anyone. So if we have a product that doesn't exactly do what we need at least we can have a less expensive one.

Cons

The fields on forms are not very smart. For example when entering a phone number you must enter it in one and only one way or the form is rejected.

A big Feature Range which can handle every venue Business. The Support ist amazing i really Love the contact to the Support they do an amazing Job.

Cons

For Germany venues is has much workarounds to Deal with its Not yet translated in the Backend. I Hope for more Features that also Covers German vendors Like DATEV or better invocing
