“The ability to identify payments linked to specific bookings and guest accounts, track spending over time, and issue refunds easily has played a critical role in streamlining our operations and improving the guest experience. While Roller isn’t fully customisable, we’ve appreciated how tailored solutions and thoughtful adaptations have been introduced to better suit the unique needs of our business and how we sell our products.“

### "Progressive Software"

November 5, 2026

5.0

Very good now that its all set up. The UX is easy for the custoemr and the business owner. once you know the system you need little help to maintain it

Pros

They are progressive. They are rolling out enhancements which is great. The system works and rarely has bugs. Bugs are worked out promptly. There support team are easy to contact.

Cons

The initial set up in the beginning was arduous. I felt left in the lurch and found Roller to step aside and not share the accountability. I lost a year in the set up process and my bill ran despite this. I thought there could have been more humanity there.

### "Roller + API = Better data drive decisions"

November 4, 2026

5.0

Much better recently. If feels like the support channel has now awoken and are getting back to us far quicker

Pros

Access to the API. Our website is now supercharged and information is driven by Roller data. Take a look for yourself www.westcountrywaterpark.co.uk

Cons

I have a long list of items we'd like improved. The obvious areas are Are they considering improving the membership features set. For example making it easier for us to run multiple membership types

### "Mixed Bag!"

October 26, 2026

3.0

We have gotten used to it. We have come up with lots of work arounds for all the limitations, complicated processes and set ups. We are hoping it will continue to improve and get better, more user friendly, quick checker ins and more new features, like interactive rentals map/floor plan with live occupancy information and integration with TOAST.

Pros

Overall functionality is solid. It gets the job done. The booking module that overlays on our website is my favorite.

Cons

#1 Reporting. It is archaic, mismatching, confusing and not accounting friendly. #2 Support. Slow and not very helpful. #3 Single waiver, no multi-waver support.

### "Happy with our transition to Roller"

October 16, 2026

5.0

Overall we've had a great experience! We love the look and capabilities of the platform. Support has also been wonderful to work with anytime we have questions.

Pros

The visitor interface and easy of product set up have been our favorite parts of Roller. From birthday party packages, to memberships, to admission tickets the ease of setting up the items and checkout process has been great.

Cons

We struggle with merchandise products, inventory reporting, and revenue and admission reporting. The reports do not get very granular to allow us to see bookings by a set series of types, memberships etc. We've figured out some work arounds, but some more detailed reports, with the ability to build out parameters would be helpful.

### "DOO of 2 types of business using roller!"

April 29, 2026

5.0

Great! customer service is 10/10 too! The implementation is great and super helpful. Those assigned to us are supportive and responsive. We appreciate the ease of roller.

Pros

We do love how it's simple. POS friendly. Office friendly. straight forward on the front end for customers. Discount codes/blocking of dates is easy.

Cons

A couple limitations with booking over the phone. Registration fee's not being an option. We'd also love to require people to sign off on more terms/conditions/have to agree to more with parties before booking but we have found some ways around that. We also hit some road blocks with customers being able to select a type of party within that party listing but hopefully finding ways around that too :).

### "Powerful All-in-One System"

April 28, 2026

5.0

Overall, ROLLER has been a strong operational backbone for our business. It significantly improves efficiency across admissions, waivers, and transactions, and supports a smoother guest experience.

Pros

ROLLER provides a very streamlined and integrated system for managing operations. The all-in-one functionality—covering ticketing, waivers, POS, and reporting—makes daily management much more efficient. The online booking experience is clean and user-friendly, which helps drive advance sales and reduces friction at check-in. Real-time reporting and analytics are also valuable for tracking performance and making operational decisions quickly

Cons

Some backend processes can feel rigid, especially when trying to customize workflows or promotions.s. The reporting, while useful, can sometimes lack deeper customization or require extra steps to extract specific insights. Additionally, occasional system lag or delays during peak times can impact front desk efficiency.

### "Complicated system"

April 15, 2026

1.0

We have been working with this system for about 3 years now and about every month I find a problem with both POS and Booking manage.

Pros

Given the frequency and volume of issues encountered on a weekly to monthly basis, I have concerns about the overall effectiveness of this system.

Cons

Complicated and multiple steps to set up a simple product, Bookings, making any change to a booking, check revenue, checking in/payment process. Fails to connect well with our website/waiver process and location/chrome browser.

### "Do Not Recommend"

March 16, 2026

2.0

Terrible experience, from the platform not being user friendly to losing customers due to it dropping all memberships after a year to being stuck with slow costumer service that usually leads to us troubleshooting and going to a hard copy by hand because the answer is "no" or "you need to upgrade to the pro version". Our indoor playground has not had a good experience at all with Roller.

Pros

Not much at all. Especially the fact that Roller caused us to lose 15% of our monthly memberships because it didn't roll over after a year and we had to reach out and ask them to sign up again. Very expensive as well.

Cons

Overpriced. Terrible costumer service so that issues do not get resolved in a timely manner and the customer is always gone by the time they respond. The answer to any issue is usually "buy the pro version". After a year it deleted the membership accounts and we had to get all members to re-enlist therefore losing a good portion of our costumers. They increased an already high price by 7% this year. Even after severe dissatisfaction they refuse to let us out of our contract for the remainder of the year.

Overall makes our business run smoother and faster, with less hiccups! The booking system works great, and we haven't had a single double booking!

Pros

Great customer service, the system is obviously built with business success in mind. It's easy to add products, including special event tickets, and things just make sense!

Cons

Sometimes have issues with guests using company cards, the system declines for some reason. Also need the ability to add more automated emails based on what the users want to send.

### "Feature-Rich Platform Built for Growing Venues"

December 17, 2025

4.0

ROLLER is a powerful, reliable platform that continues to evolve in meaningful ways. It’s well-suited for venues that need strong operational tools, clear reporting, and dependable payment processing. The team is forward-thinking, and while there are occasional growing pains as the company scales, the overall value and long-term direction of the product are excellent

Pros

I’ve been using the ROLLER platform for over five years and have consistently been impressed with how forward-thinking the company is. ROLLER stays ahead of the curve by regularly releasing new features that genuinely improve day-to-day operations and back-office workflows, especially around accounting and reporting. The support team is knowledgeable and helpful, and I appreciate how ROLLER has expanded its support options over time, making it easier to get assistance when needed. Communication around product releases and new features is also very clear, which makes adoption and training much smoother. Payment processing is a standout feature. The reporting is detailed, transparent, and easy to understand, making it simple to track funds and reconcile transactions.

Cons

Support response times can occasionally be slower than ideal for urgent issues. While ROLLER is clearly growing and scaling, there are moments where faster turnaround would make a big difference, especially for time-sensitive operational needs.

### "Roller saved my Business."

November 7, 2025

5.0

Roller literally saved our business when our previous POS supplier switched us off just as school holidays were starting. Operating a Trampoline Adventure Park, this was catastrophic to our business. After being referred to Roller by a friend of ours, Rollers amazing team were able to get us set up and operating ON THE SAME DAY. Still to this day, their platform has yet to fail us ( as the previous POS company did time and time again ), and their ongoing training and support have simply been amazing.

Pros

Easy user interface face / platform, Unbelievable personalized support, Great value. Secure, Prompt Payment processing and waiver system.

Cons

I am yet to find an issue with Roller. The only problem we had was not utilizing their system first.

### "Rolling Smoothly with Roller POS!"

October 9, 2025

5.0

We've been using the Roller POS system and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and user-friendly design. One of the standout features is its ease of use—both staff and management quickly adapted to the system with minimal training, which helped streamline our day-to-day operations. The real-time reporting capabilities are another major advantage. Having instant access to up-to-date sales and performance data allows us to make informed decisions quickly, helping to improve both efficiency and customer service. Additionally, guests have consistently given positive feedback about the online checkout experience. The process is straightforward, intuitive, and hassle-free, which greatly enhances the overall customer experience and helps drive repeat business. Overall, Roller provides a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly POS solution that supports both operational needs and guest satisfaction.

Pros

Ease of use for team and guests creating new tickets is a breeze guests find check out easy to use Real time reporting

Cons

So far, I haven't found anything I don't love about the platform Only thing I wish we could control more is designing the emails we send to guests for confirmations

### "Started strong, but support and value have fallen off a cliff"

December 9, 2025

1.0

ROLLER started as a promising, well-supported solution, but the decline in customer success and the way basic tools are locked behind higher tiers mean I’d really struggle to recommend it now – in fact, we’re actively trying to move off the platform, and predictably our customer success manager has gone silent on us yet again.

Pros

I’m giving ROLLER 1 star, and it’s not because the core product is useless – it’s because the overall experience has gone sharply downhill. When we first started with ROLLER, it actually felt like a great product with solid support. Onboarding was smooth, there was a lot of hand-holding, and it felt like we had real partners helping us get set up for success. On the positive side, that original promise is still visible in the capacity management and price rules, which are genuinely good. They’re flexible, fairly intuitive, and make it easy to manage sessions, peak/off-peak pricing and promos. Day-to-day operations are fine once everything is configured.

Cons

Customer success has basically disappeared. Where we once had responsive help, our customer success managers now often go completely quiet on important questions, or take so long to reply that the issue is no longer relevant. For software at this price point, being ghosted like that is unacceptable. Basic marketing integrations are paywalled. Meta and TikTok pixels are treated as “premium” features, even though ROLLER already earns commission on sales going through the system. Penalising venues for trying to generate more revenue via paid marketing feels backwards. Poor value compared to alternatives. There are other platforms where these “premium” features are included as long as you’re using their system, which makes ROLLER’s upsell model feel out of touch and bad value for money.

### "LET'S HOLD YOUR FUNDS "

October 1, 2025

2.0

OK. Was very proactive up to 6 months ago in developing and sorting out issues. Over the last 6 months not much development.

Pros

The ability to make timed group bookings by creating resources. Can send booking directly to customer

Cons

ITs integration with Volare now Roller Karting. There has been no real improving in the last 6 months like promised. We can't time items for sale e.g. Happy hour lunch time specials. Promised membership would be great for our business but it doesn't work in our environment. Roller has been very slow to respond and offering no solution With Roller payments our funds are held for days. Every other eftpos co pays daily. Other Karting venues have left Roller. We have a second venue and are not convinced to change to Roller. We are about to open a third and are giving thought to options

### "Empty Promises"

September 30, 2025

2.0

Overall, I'm not impressed. Things constantly change on this platform and it's difficult to keep up with all of the changes. For the astronomical fees Roller charges, support should be better and more consistent with solving issues AND on boarding. This platform has the ability to be GREAT for GM's and owners but the compatibility lacks with what GM's and owners are looking for.

Pros

\- Online portal for customers. - Add on's for jump time and party packages make it easy for parents to know what we have thats an additional add on. - Easy check in process with online tickets.

Cons

\- Reporting isn't consistent or accurate. - Training now going remote eliminates the ability to get ahead of issues. - No clock in/ out feature to help GM's track their #1 expense that is within their control... THEIR PAYROLL! - Support center is a joke. I've had to figure out CC processor issues every week with no help from Roller support. - Trainer didn't take training at MY pace, and assumed I have looked at the system before ever being introduced to it. - Transitioning from one system to the other SHOULD NOT be as difficult as it was with C.E. Waivers didn't carry over. Gift card numbers went missing. It was a horrible transition. - Birthday party reporting... HORRIBLE!!! Should be able to scroll between months to make running audits easier.

### "Impressive Improvements and a better Roller experience every year (Thanks \[sensitive content hidden\] !)"

September 22, 2025

4.0

Roller has become a core part of our operations, and we’re very happy with how far it’s come. While it’s not yet a complete all-in-one solution, we’re confident it’s heading in the right direction. With continued improvements, particularly around event management and their food and beverage systems, we can see ourselves running our entire business on Roller.

Pros

Over the years of using Roller, we've seen a significant improvement in one-on-one support and account management. There was a time when we seriously considered moving away from the platform. However, we chose to stay, and are glad we did, due to the steady enhancements in the ticketing system, payment portals, and the increased engagement from our account manager, who has made a conscious effort to be present and work collaboratively with us on solutions. THANKS \[sensitive content hidden\] ! One of the biggest improvements has been in payment processing. The ability to identify payments linked to specific bookings and guest accounts, track spending over time, and issue refunds easily has played a critical role in streamlining our operations and improving the guest experience. While Roller isn’t fully customisable, we’ve appreciated how tailored solutions and thoughtful adaptations have been introduced to better suit the unique needs of our business and how we sell our products. We’ve particularly valued the introduction of price rules and schedules over the past seasons. These tools became essential in the post-COVID environment, where managing guest bookings, capacity, and queues became more important than ever. The progressive checkout has also been a game changer. Not only is it visually appealing, but it’s far more user-friendly compared to the previous format. It enhances the overall customer experience and aligns well with modern consumer expectations. We’ve also seen great success with the online party package system. Allowing guests to purchase and manage their own bookings has led to a noticeable increase in party sales, while also reducing the administrative load on our team.

Cons

If you had asked me a few years ago, I could have easily written a page and a half outlining the things we didn’t like or appreciate about Roller. However, as the platform has developed over time, that list has steadily decreased. One of our earlier frustrations was being limited to selling tickets as a standard product. With the introduction of schedules, improvements in stock product functionality, and now the implementation of price rules, our experience with ticketing and the overall system use has significantly improved. That said, there are still areas where we’d love to see further development, particularly in how events are booked. We currently rely on external software (Priava/Elite) to manage and invoice event bookings, as Roller’s event management features aren’t yet at the level offered by those systems. We’re hopeful that as Roller continues to evolve, it will eventually allow us to run all aspects of our business (food & beverage, ticketing, event management, lockers etc.) within a single, unified platform. Another area we’re keen to see improvement in is guest account management. Specifically, we’d like guests to have more autonomy in managing their bookings. For example, being able to change their visit date without needing to contact our team via phone or email. This was a feature we were expecting last season, but unfortunately, it wasn’t implemented successfully. We’re hoping to see it available and functioning smoothly this season.

### "Huge investment - but even a bigger disappointment in the product"

July 15, 2025

2.0

Just not good. The staff is friendly but even our Implementation specialist admitted on several occasions that their software was lacking and that a lot doesn't make sense for the US market

Pros

Their booking system is good. But other than that, it lacks the basic functionalities that many other POS systems have (Unless you upgrade to their pro version).

Cons

Unfortunately their software doesn't provide so many basic functions you'll find from other POS systems. The reporting is very challenging - for example, if I want to check our staff's gratuities for the night, it will show me every transaction - but doesn't give you a total. You literally have to export the report, download it, open in Excel (or similar) and add a Sum function. The software is also from Great Britain (which we were not told) - and Europe operates so differently then the US Unfortunately there are so many challenges we are about to write off the $15k we invested in them and just start with someone else. Perhaps their higher end subscription does the basics we are looking for - but systems like Clover are a lot less expensive and a lot more functional for basic POS. Sorry.

### "Fantastic product all Rolled into one."

July 12, 2024

4.0

Overall I'm very happy with Roller as its allowed us to have complete control all in one package, where as previously we used multiple products.

Pros

The main thing that sold Roller to me was the ability to sell multiple sessions and still have the sessions in the "break time" up for sale, this opened our available sessions and instantly made a difference to our capacity. The fact Roller is the POS, online booking and payment solution all rolled into one, where previously we used multiple different softwares to achieve. The money I saved in transactions from using Stripe off set the monthly cost of Roller which came with additional benefits.

Cons

At present roller can't send the gender API to our timing software which means our categorised leaderboards don't work correctly without manually having to change every customers profile. "Please Fix!"

### "Honest Review"

July 2, 2024

4.0

Overall, I really enjoy using the platform. It’s easy for my team to use the POS, the waiver kiosk does its job, and the venue manager and online checkouts are great.

Pros

Visually, Roller is superior to our previous system. Both the POS and Venue Manager are simplified and easy to “sift through.”

Cons

There are bugs that seem to pop up regularly. A schedule will suddenly be missing a ticket variation or a POS button suddenly disappears and then reappears before we can figure out why.

### "Great Product and Superb Support"

September 12, 2022

5.0

We have been using roller for around 2 years and we love the system, the support from Roller is what sets them above for me. We have used other systems in the past and what puts me off moving is the support. You won't get it matched anywhere else. The system is easy to use on a whole which is something that can't always be said about other operating systems.

Pros

The whole product of Roller is so simple to use which is superb for us. The support is second to none and is the main reason why we stick with the product!

Cons

We have one bug bear with how bookings take deposits online. The smart phone compatibility doesn't display certain elements which cause it to be misleading which has cost us some bookings in the past. Have logged it for them to add but no change as of yet.

### "Take Your Business to its next level with Roller"

September 24, 2025

5.0

Fantastic. Everyone who we have encountered at Roller is excellent, and does a great job. We recommend Roller to many others as well given its superior product.

Pros

Roller is very simple to use for our team members and to administer. Customer support is excellent. Presentation to guests is excellent.

Cons

Very simple: Too many bugs. It appears that when new versions / updates come out, other items break, meaning that there needs to be more testing before rolling out new versions. Takes too long for bugs to get resolved as well. Also, it would be nice having a relationship manager again, as that recently went away.

### "Growing with it."

September 19, 2025

4.0

It's been pretty positive overall - hoping to get more features etc. I like the idea that the product continues to evolve.

Pros

The centralized nature of things. How I can manage all my venues from a single source point and have visibility of how things are going.

Cons

Some reporting functionality especially at HQ level is bad. There are reports available that just don't work. Lack of scheduling.
