Pros: The best part about this software is the price and the fact that it natively integrates with all other Zoho products including Zoho CRM and Zoho Inventory. This means that the customer, inventory, and pricing modules of Zoho Books are awesome and WAY more capable than quickbooks online.

Cons: Just to preface, I am a quickbooks online user. I don't feel that Zoho Books is as easy to use as quickbooks in a few major areas:
1. Reconciliation is much easier in quickbooks and I prefer quickbooks bank feeds as well.
2. Quickbooks has a MUCH better mobile app
3. Quickbooks has more third party apps and better interfaces with many third party apps.
For these reasons, we actually use Zoho Inventory and CRM with quickbooks and not Zoho Books. Zoho continues to improve the product so one day maybe we will be able to switch but I don't feel that it meets all of our needs at this point.

Pros: Ok, first up, my personal shortfall is that I struggle with accounting software. But for someone who struggles I have been very impressed with Zoho Books! It has soooo many features, you can just about do anything you want. One of the best features it has though, is automated Stripe data input. With a bit of setup you can actually have a good chunk of your books automated through workflows too. Very powerful and very cheap for the quality and features.

Cons: Because of the amount of features, it does make it tricky to use sometimes. It's not always obvious how to find particular features and the dashboard can appear quite complex for beginner users for example.

Pros: 1. Free trial up to 50 clients. 2. Integrates with all the apps 3. Price is good 4. Easy to expand as business grows 5. Customer support is superb

Cons: Haven't ran into any yet. We've been using zoho books for over 5 years and we can't think of one thing to complain about.

It is really helpful for creating quotations on the go and convert it to invoices.

Pros: Creating invoice is very easy. And looks pretty cool. The theams are helpful to select the standard of the company.

Cons: It should be more userfreindly... Limits many things when creating quotations. Applying GST Is bit difficult. Everytime we have to add tge customer and add the product. Which really annoy

Overall: I can able to create estimates and invoices on tge go with its inbuilt awesome formats.

Comments: All-in-all its a useful and efficient product.

Pros: The best part about Zoho is the fact that it is Cloud based. It can be accessed from any part of the world. Secondly, the user interface is fairly simple and easy to understand. There are many useful features like inventory management provided by them which is a great plus point.

Cons: The mobile application of this software isn't up to the mark and it can be approved. Also, the way the data is shown can be made better. It can seem on the expensive side for some.

Pros: I decided to try this for my side business and I don't regret it. It has all the tools I need to run efficiently . From sales and purchases to inventory management. I am thrilled that I went with Zoho Books.

Cons: I have had some issues with report customization but so far have worked around it. I have not yet been in business for a year so time will tell if it will come through for me.

Pros: Nice, clean, finance app! If you're looking for a quickbooks type app, this could be the one! Invoices, payments, deposits, anything!!

Cons: Having any monthly payments is a con I guess. But its not totally unexpected, I understand the process for that. No real cons.

Pros: It has a lot of different features & seems to have everything a business needs - built into one interface.

Cons: I could never get my inventory properly migrated from Quickbooks. It's a little wonky. Example: when creating an Item Group, which I assumed to be an item with multiple variations - it has a mandatory field called "Unit". Unit of measurement? There's no additional information and the customer service is foreign and they bounce you back between each other without really helping.

Pros: has many advantages among them is the ease of use and how interesting the application is, first because you can use it whenever you want where you want and it is always up to date.

Another benefit is that it allows you to keep the complete accounting of the company if you import the country or type of tax.

Cons: Sometimes it gets a little slow and I feel that there are transactions that are not shown in the reglon that must do so, that is, do not present it as a pending charge or account receivable.

I understand that they are going to correct that and that it should not affect the accounting of the company as long as it is known that it is being done.

Overall: Fast, easy and simple system to manage your accounting for medium and small business

Pros: Zoho is a good accounting software to know each transaction but its really expensive and hard to use and keep track of.

Cons: Not a big fan of it. Just good enough for regular accounting and in and out records of the transactions.

Pros: It's relatively simple throughout, and being able to work from the cloud has saved us a lot of headaches over the last few years.
Being able to pull reports we would never have been able to create ourselves before.

Cons: The constant updates which cause me to lose work I was busy with.
Unable to customise the columns as much as I would be able to with Excel

Overall: Simplified our invoicing systems
Cloud based access has definitely made a lot of niggly little irritations go away

Pros: It's cloud-based very lightweight and overall user interface is very nicely designed which is also aesthetically pleasing.

Cons: I didn't find payroll module inside zoho books. Also the integration of local SMS API using webhooks is not fully possible.

Overall: Creating invoices on daily basis and recording expenses as well as vendor bills and recurring expenses. Zoho books provide a very easy way to audit accounts too.

Pros: 1. Zoho comes with many inbuilt accounting software features like inventory management, Payroll processing, Sales and Purchase booking etc. 2. Can be integrated with your online shoping websites like shopify, woocommerce and many more. 3. Automatc recurring expense booking like depreciation, monthly rent etc.

Cons: Lacks basic functions like deposit slip printing (and automatically transferring those funds to bank from Undeposited Funds), ability to pre-send recurring invoices, inability to set simple defaults such as default account to accept payment to (always need to manually select Undeposited Funds when accepting checks) and no running total in account ledgers such as Undeposited Funds (how are you supposed to find and fix errors, mistakes?)

Pros: The system has great capabilities in terms of record keeping, expenses tracking and transaction postings

Cons: User permissions not deep, user is unable to define user priviledges in terms of screens on systems and activities carried out on system.

Overall: Great user interface, easy to understand, great capabilities in terms of record inputs and transactions. Not to forget, fields are easily customizable.

Pros: Zoho Books allows you to automate functions, such as emailing weekly reports/summaries and month-end financial reports to you.

Cons: It would be great if there was a way to create work orders and other more industry-specific types of documents.

Pros: I like that it has many features and it can be great for a big company. It seems like I have to do more work to keep everything together and connected then any other software.

Cons: I don't like that it really didn't support me as a small business as well as other software's cater to small business. Also, the features are all broken up into different sections, as they didn't seem to communicate well between one another.

Pros: Zoho Books is easy to use for small business, yet doesn't have the big price tag of QuickBooks. Their mobile app is clear, easy to use as well. Their customer service is unmatched. (Especially compared to QB CS)

Cons: It doesn't run payroll, that's a huge downside. It's great for smaller small business, as your company grows, it's not quite enough.

Pros: The software works fine, and covers all the accounting functions I use in my business. The software has a nice heuristic feel and is generally user friendly. The software takes a little bit of time to get things smoothly running.

Cons: Although the software is generally user friendly, the software at times requires some time commitment to get things set up the way I would like. Also, the software is less popular than some other paid accounting software, which sometimes creates problems to find individuals to do things for me.

Overall: I use this software for accounting purposes. It does what it says it does and that's basically it.

Cons: Reconciliation of previous transactions: when there is a mistake in of the previous months reconciliation history, all other reconciliations has to be deleted till the date you want to make the change.
Does not support retail with multi-location. It means each location will have to be setup up as a separate company. There should be a location or class feature on each transaction and same should be reflected on the reports.

Overall: Easy upload of invoices and expenses, tracking my tax transactions and easy maintaining of accounting books

Pros: Excellent feel in terms of its UI. No need to hire an accountant as this platform is easy to use.
Its banking functionality makes it flexibile for handling more than one banking account.

Cons: There are still some bugs in the system. For instance, not all contacts made would show. And there's no option for you to re-make them.
Zero options for contacts numbering between 50 to 100.

Pros: Zoho Books helps me manage finances per projects, where you can add tasks, assign members, and follow processes using your mobile device. Simply insert your sheets and client information in the system, and bill them to customers in a second.

Cons: Zoho Books is a decent program that can be nightmare. If you require anything more than the most basic accounting then Zohos ridiculously restrictive rules require you to do a workaround for the most basic transactions.

I really like zoho since I can have a connection and communication with my accountant in real time, which makes it easier for me to have more control in my company

Pros: It has all of the bells and whistles that you could possibly need for your bookkeeping software. And if it doesn't have it, there's probably another Zoho product that does it anyway, and they all seem to integrate.

Cons: Took a little while to get used to where things were (switched over from Freshbooks) and the reporting is a little different, but it's all in there!

Overall: It helps me manage my billing, invoicing, purchase orders, bills, expenses, etc! I couldn't get paid without it.

Pros: Books has most of the features we need and pretty easy to use. It's very budget friendly. The plus is the integration with other Zoho apps.

Cons: Books previously offered an import service when migrating from Quickbooks. That is no longer the case. It was a nightmare migrating a client from Quickbooks (I will never do that again). The number of auto receipt scans in the packages can be improved as well as customer service.

Pros: A true CRM tool for sales people with the tools the ability to give accountants information needed. You can provide invoicing and estimates for clients as well as get an overview of sales for the year, the month and other important information. We have been using Zoho for over 5 years and almost swear by it, especially in our line of business with integration with payment options, we can accept multiple payment options from clients without changing our workflow. Whether used on its own or used with the other suite of Zoho apps, Zoho Books is definitely a recommended tool for anyone starting out and looking for an affordable accounting/CRM solution.

Cons: Only administrators can adjust invoices once they have been sent which limits functionality for larger sales teams. Cancelling an estimate or invoice even when in draft mode is not as straightforward as when you create one. Mobile apps for Zoho Books is not as easy to use as the web app, if you are running a business, it is good for viewing sales at a glance but it is not ideal for CRM on the go. There is a slight learning curve to use Zoho Books for accounts especially if you are coming from another accounting suite.

Pros: So, Zoho books is cool, and easy to use. But kind of quirky. The nice thing is there is a lot of stuff. Lots off options and many ways to configure it to your needs.

Cons: The confusing thing is there are lots and lots of Zoho products. And it isn't always clear to you which thing is part of which product and where you are exactly inside the Zoho app universe. It reminds me of the Marvel movies. Too many super heroes to keep track of.

Pros: Very user friendly, includes timesheet which is what we needed. I like that the dashboard is easy to use and straightforward and I like the colors. Something good is that it can be integrated with some shop sites.

Cons: The customer support is horrific, sometimes they answer sometimes it takes days, and most of the times they don't understand whats your problem or whats happening in your case.

Pros: Easy to understand with a logical approach to entering data. Most accounting packages seem obsessed with every payment and receipt being tied to an invoice, and although Zoho makes invoicing super easy it makes entering a cash sale just as easy. The amount of time this has saved me is immeasurable. I also appreciate the pricing of Zoho and you get a lot of bang for your buck too. Although I'm quite an experienced book keeper I am not overly experienced in online accounting software and I found Zoho easy to understand and had my accounts being entered within minutes. Highly recommend

Pros: This software has all of the features I needed to run my digital marketing agency. The best part is that my bank transactions are automatically updated.

Cons: The learning curve can be time-consuming and more resources must be available or easy to reach when it comes to being a first time user.

Comments: We started by buying Zoho books as a stand-alone software but soon found out the best and most affordable way was to buy the Zoho one package. Only downside everyone in the company must pay a user fee.

Pros: Zoho book is a great accounting software product it was easy to set up and use. So many features and flexible set up it was perfect for our company requirements and did everything required to operate our business.

Pros: I like the easy user interface and the ability to send documents from email to expense and invoicing. Makes keeping track of things more manageable.

Cons: I wish there was a better dashboard and reporting system. THey give you the basic reports and general dashboard of monthly income and expense but feels lacking in design.

Pros: You can automate much of your purchasing and invoicing 'paperwork' process which is wasted time you can spend actually working on your business. It integrates easily with other Zoho products, QuickBooks and Google if you need it to.

Cons: While it is very easy to integrate with other zoho products like Zoho Expense it can sometimes be hard to understand how that integration is meant to work. Some best practice documentation like using Zoho Books and Zoho Expense would be great. For instance it took me a while to figure out that I needed to make sure I had chart of account line items in both. I assumed they would sync but they didn't. I had to go to expense and create the same custom line item I did in books. Not a big deal but it would have been helpful to know that I needed to do that. Customer Support can be very inconsistent. I've had very good experience with the chat support resolving my problems immediately. However, the ticket system and email can some times take days to respond. In particular, you don't have access to your support ticket so you don't know that it has been received or looked at, nor can you update it with any additional information.

Pros: The ability to track time spent on a specific project for a specific customer and translate that to invoicing is great. The customer specific portal for them to access their invoices is another great feature that separates this tool from so many others.

Cons: The fact that there are so many great features can make it challenging for some people to setup and use. Once you get used to it though it's great !

Overall: An affordable way to track the finances and project times for a small, mobile company.

Pros: What I like most with this software is the ease of use. I have not used ZOHO Books for very long, but it is very user friendly, you are able to edit the information that is entered. I use ZOHO Books daily to review expenses that have been entered as well as submitting a timesheet each day. For other software I have used, expenses are entered weekly and in ZOHO Books, the information is entered daily which gives our company a better idea of what has been expensed each day versus looking at software that shows a week long process.

Cons: I do not believe that there is anything else ZOHO Books can do to make this software any easier. If I was to add anything that I did not like about this software, it would be the Banking Portion. Occasionally, there are transaction entries that are not able to be removed when the information is not able to be matched against our company credit card. There are entries from November 2017 that are unable to be deleted or at least there are no instructions on how to remove the unwanted entries.

Overall: The ease of matching entries entered in ZOHO Books versus the charges on our company credit card.

Cons: It would be great for past due balances to carry over to the current invoice. Also, without the ability to track time, we have to use two programs (one for tracking and one for billing), which is why we ultimately switched to something that would do both. If you just need it for invoicing, though, it's fantastic.

Comments: If you are planning on using ZOHO don't forget to check out ZOHO ONE, they packaged all of the greatness of Zoho into one package. I saved money by moving over to ZOHO ONE.

Pros: I've been a faithful ZOHO BOOKS user for 9 months, the integration with all of the other ZOHO Products is shear GREATNESS! I love how other outside apps can be integrated as well. Books is great for managing the estimates, invoices, work orders along with the expenses of your company. ZOHO allows you to customize almost every aspect of the system.

Cons: Don't have high expectations of the support if needed. Some days they are on it, others they lack the luster of greatness or even normalcy. Don't hestiate to call email or chat, if its something simple, they may fix it immediately or tell you it can't be done, only to later find out it can. Other days you'll wait for 2 days then get a call back from the same person and find out that one of the programmers fixed the issue.

Cons: Customer care is responsive. However, they are not knowledgeable. They have basic support people running all of the ZOHO suite of products. And they just don't seem to know what they are doing if you have anything other than a very, very basic question.

Pros: The seamless integration with Zoho CRM and the fact that you can access your records from anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection. The customization options are also a huge plus.

Cons: It doesn't have some simple functions and features that other accounting softwares have, such as the ability to chnage how all the names appear (i.e. first, last vs. last, first). it can get a little confusing with how payments are applied and dded to the system as well. Tech support is usually no help, or they tell you that your question is a great idea for their IT team to use and then you never hear back from them again.

Pros: Apart from good GUI nothing is pleasing. Initially as all others they will try to help & show they are the most customer friendly.

Cons: 1) For most of the queries the customer care don't know a solution. 2) Zoho Books does not have Input VAT Credit feature 3) They do not have Retail Invoice template, when asked, they say we are still working on it. We only have Standard UAE Template. If you need more fields/columns do it at your own risk, they even do not have anyone who can guide to make changes in the custom html template.

Cons: 1. Compared to desktop based and other software price is high. There are many excellent desktop based softwares available at comparatively very lower rates. 2. In cloud based software despite enough security there is always risk of data privacy and data security. 3. Cons: Wish that Zoho Books had pixel tracking of e-mails so that we could tell when someone has reviewed an invoice. This is something that Fresh books (and most other providers) have been doing for some time and it is our biggest request for Zoho Books.

Comments: Keep the good work guys..its simply amazing

Pros: Automates workflow very easily and an amazing dash board gives you complete overview of every aspects you had gone through including banks and credit card and an amazing client portal helps to maintain and track all transaction between business and clients and now VAT complaint too.

Pros: It is very customizable and can be synced with Zoho CRM. It is very convient to see payments made by customers and it is very easy to create invoices according to that in Zoho books itself. They also have mobile application for working while laptop is not accessible. It is cloud based so data is safe and secure.

Cons: Initially the charges are low compared to other products present but from next year they increase their fees and also it has less features in comparison to some other products like quickbook.

Overall: Overall it is good for small budget and can be used in firms with less capital to invest. It has made my work alot easier and now I complete my work on time.

Pros: Very feature rich, regular updates based on tax system and makes your life easy. I started using Zoho invoice and upgraded to Zoho books, the tool completely takes care of your all accounting needs.

Cons: - Sometimes a bit confusing to use
- User management could be better

Not many cons, Zoho tools do come with a bit traditional UI but that is fine as they get the work done.

Pros: This product Hooks up easily to Zoho CRM. The product works almost fluidly with the CRM. it makes it easy to see each client payment and how much we have received each month. The information the books hold really helps for some financial reports. The Reports do make my life easier kindof. Books make it easy to bill clients and it keeps all the information in one place.

Cons: The Reports as mention in my pros are missing some really good information that is already there in the system. They want me to pay for Zoho reports, but to my understanding Zoho reports, I would still need to go in and set it up. In our business every month we have to pay out our salespeople. fist I'm not able to split commissions easily or add multiple salespeople to an invoice. second, if I look up sales by salesperson by month it gives me all invoices created in the month, not all invoice paid. We sell expensive web projects and could take months to close. so it is unhelpful for me to see monthly sales report because it is not correct. they also have a "payments received" a report that comes in Zoho books. This report gives me monthly sales but does not add the sales person to the report. So I build a report that takes 30 min to an hour top. I have asked them to fix this and they told me to get Zoho reports

Comments: The mobile app is spectacular. I rarely have to use the desktop browser version of Zoho Books. I love the freedom of being mobile without sacrificing functionality.

Pros: I am pretty sure I've tried all the top accounting platforms. My search was over when I found Zoho. Their software is incredibly simple to navigate. I really enjoy how quickly and easily I can create new items, estimates and invoices. On multiple occasions I have quite literally created an estimate while meeting with a client and received payment later that day.

Comments: We use all different modules for booking keeping, including estimates, quotes, pro-forma invoices, purchase order, bank reconciliation, and year end reporting.

Pros: API integration is very powerful as we build our own tools to read and write info. in invoices and POs

Cons: 1.As compared to Quickbooks online many features are missing. 2.Disadvantage of cloud based software is it becomes difficult to shift to windows based software as data can not be transferred easily. 3. Zoho attracts consumer by quoting very less fees for 1st year but from next years there is steep increase in charges.

Pros: I love that Zoho Books is the expanded version of Zoho Invoice. Its easy to use, effortless, and I feel it's appropriate for smaller businesses who don't need the bells and whistles, yet.

Cons: The cost is pretty outstanding if you go with a Zoho One subscription. They want per seat but every person on your team needs a seat, even if they don't use the application afforded in their seat.

Pros: Perfect for small to medium business es - great software and I have been in development and sales of accounting software for over 20 years. Can't really fault that the software for the price .

Cons: Lacks some smart short cuts of more higher end software but that will probably come as it matures. Reports need some improvement but ok - some tighter integration would help

Pros: Optically easier and UI flows better than QB Great time tracking and project management for small businesses. Can log time on phone. Price for fully integrated time tracking/projects on phone and full accounting is 50% less than QB. Can import via CSV for most transactions. Try that in QB!

Cons: Need split distribution capability for transactions Many accounts that are not needed cannot be deleted or inactivated

Cons: - Lack Budgeting feature and they are ignoring the many requests for it for the past three years.
- Forced to use Alvera Tax.
- No true integration with ZohoCRM, If you want to create a sales order in ZohoCRM, you're going to have to create one in ZohoBooks
- Lack of integration to other services for Business Intelligence software
- Lack of listening to customers feature requests. They seem to build what they feel we need
- Unable to Journal entry from the bank account, which doesn't allow you to easily process payroll unless you use their payroll service which lacks a lot of features.
- Good reports, their reports are horrible and you can not customize the to work the way that you want or need.

Overall: Recurring billing is included, and that is the only thing keeping our company with Zoho Books. We have more frustrations than benefits right now.

Comments: i jave just started using books and i am already completely convinced i needed to upgrade to set up banking expecting positive results. the same results that i get using the other apps

Pros: very nice options with miminim setup time

Cons: some apps are not mobile friendly

Pros: The software is easy to use, stacks up well against Xero (the leading accounting package in use in Australia) for functionality, especially at a small-medium business level and at only 20% of the cost.

Cons: I'd like it to interface much more easily with external reporting packages, but that's endemic across the whole Zoho range (as they have their own reporting module)

Overall: Great functionality at a fantastic price.

Pros: Its cheap, but the functionality is not complete and it is cumbersome to use. It is accessible from anywhere, but you need to use multiple products to do anything Zoho makes it very difficult.

Cons: There is not Quickbooks compatibility and the CRM system and Books do are not integrated in any meaningful way.

Pros: I am not a great bookkeeper but after a few days of learning it turned out much easier then any other program I tried. As I work with different currencies and clients in all parts of he world, it just worked out great. I connect to the CRM ans Zoho subscriptions and it all integrated beautifully. Besides the helpdesk is absolutely fantastic.

Overall: I am actually up to date with my bookkeeping and not running a year behind as I as in other years.
