I have used Gain for 7 years now. It is vital in our Social Content Management workflow. I like the Approval process and having the ability to have team members easily create content.

Pros

I like that I can clearly see what posts are scheduled via the calendar. The approval process is great, and I can duplicate content across multiple social platforms.

Cons

I can't post long-form video to Instagram; this must be posted manually. Also, I can't tag a collaborator via Gain.

It's been the best. Tried others but nothing beats it for the price. I'm here to stay unless something massive changes!

Pros

The value for the money spent on running social content has been huge! Also, the learning curve was simple, and they have amazing customer support!

Cons

Honestly can't think of anything off the top of my head. Maybe duplicating my ads across several different workspaces could be a bit more streamlined but it's easy enough.

Una muy buena experiencia con la plataforma en el uso diario. Pocas veces ha dado algún problema y si lo hay se soluciona rápidamente.

Pros

Es muy fácil de usar, muy intuitivo y permite tener en un solo espacio todo el panorama del contenido

Cons

No tener la opción de personalizar las stories desde la plataforma es algo que obliga a tener que realizar siempre publicaciones sin interacción directas desde instagram como encuestas.

I tell anyone and everyone that works in social media or runs an account for a business that this is the best platform to help them manage their pages.

Pros

Two things really stand out. First is how easy the approval process is for social media content, including for my less tech-savvy clients. It's a smooth and easy process that everyone can use and gives my clients ease of mind knowing their social media posts will be exactly what they expect. Second is the customer support. They are very responsive, always eager to listen to your thoughts and needs, and are constantly updating the platform to stay in-tune with users needs and social media platform updates.

Cons

The only con has more to do with META's constant updating. Luckily, Gain works quickly to ensure their connection to the platform stays up to date and they can provide work arounds to keep your workflow running smoothly.

My experience with Gain has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s made my day-to-day work as a social media manager so much smoother—especially when it comes to organizing content, managing approvals, and collaborating with clients. It saves time, reduces confusion, and helps keep everything moving forward.

Pros

The best part about Gain is how seamlessly it manages content approvals. I can schedule posts, share visuals, get client feedback, and keep everything organized—without a million emails or back-and-forth. The intuitive layout, client-specific folders, and built-in approval flows make collaboration efficient and stress-free. And any time I’ve needed help, their customer service has been fast, friendly, and genuinely helpful. It keeps my content process clean, clear, and on schedule.

Cons

The post previews can occasionally be inaccurate, especially for platforms like Instagram or LinkedIn. It’s a small hiccup, but one that sometimes requires double-checking before publishing.

I love its clean user experience, customer service, having one easy-to-use platform for getting feedback.

I don't love having to reconnect the channels all the time--or, I wish I could just do it on my own and not need an admin.

Hi Bridget, I’m Albizu, CEO of Gain. Thanks for the review and for trusting us for so many years! About the channel reconnections: we feel that pain, too. Gain stays linked to each network through an access token that the network itself issues and controls. Every platform sets its own rules and they are all different. Meta, for example, expires most tokens after ~60 days so when a token ends or a permission changes, the connection drops and you’re asked to re-auth FB and IG. This single issue drives a huge share of our support tickets and engineering time. While we can’t override the networks’ policies, we’re always looking for ways to soften the impact: we are considering clearer alerts before a token expires, self-serve reconnects that don’t require an admin, and automatic retries when the hiccup is on the network side. We’ll keep pushing here and will post updates in our changelog. Thanks again for helping us build a better Gain!

I really like everything - there are a few features that could be added, which I think they are working on. - ability to schedule at different times like 10.02am - not just 5,10,15 past etc - add a feature listing awareness days

Very positive and highly recommend. I enjoy the ease of access and that I can work autonomously and have my team and supervisors approve and give suggestions after content is created. Work is not lost in emails, etc. because it is all in the Gain workflow. Whenever I've reached out asking for assistance from Gain, their employees are very timely and approachable and patient.

Pros

Workflow approval process is a huge benefit, when we have multiple ideas and opinions, knowing when all folks on the team approve it means we get the green light to post- this helps save us time and redundant conversations regarding social media posts. I like auto-scheduling and the ability to see your drafts in different formats - ie calendar view.

Cons

I don't like that on Gain I cannot upload both a video and photos to Instagram when on the Instagram app you can upload a video and photos in the same post. I would be curious to learn more about the features that Gain offers.
