Sign out process is quick and easy

Cons: You are unable to change visitor type online once entered
We are unble to seperate vistors lists for junior or senior school visitors

Pros: Notifications, ease of use, compact design. The ability to send invites. Able to track all visitors, contractors and vendors, reporting

Cons: Nothing yet. The system is working perfectly. Slight problem in setting up printer but this was due to local wifi

Overall: ease of logging and tracking visitors, vendors and contractors

Pros: I liked the ease of use from start to finish and the features as well as the dashboard. Sigining people in and out was easy.

Cons: Customer support was unreliable and the system would crash and not work often. It made it difficult to troubleshoot.

Pros: Keeps all information in one spot. Is user friendly. Helps keep track of movement of contractors on site

Cons: If wifi is down it is reliant on sim, be good if it could be hooked up via network cable. It would be good if the system could be integrated with our staff myfare card for ease of a tap in tap out check in process

Pros: Not having to notify the person they have come to see.
For returning visitors it is less time consuming for reception staff.

Cons: If a resident needs to sign in and they don't have a mobile or email address then you have to enter false details in order for the system to allow them to sign in.
Time consuming for new users so having to walk them through the process. No-one seems to know to scroll down to sign it.
Having to choose a person they are here to see even if they are not seeing anyone.

Pros: Customer interface is sleek and represents our company well.
Online management is a nice feature for hosts and admin.

Cons: The formats for the administor to create the forms aren't user friendly or clear.
System allows for only taking one picture.
Takes a long time for each visitor to sign-in.
Setting up the badge printer was not easy.

Pros: That return visitors are able to fast track check in, able to view who has checked out on report, able to establish how many staff visitors versus non-staff visitors

Cons: The Screen turns itself off intermittently and the printer had an issue today with message advising "wrong labels" in printer. Fixed the issue with a test print.

Overall: Visitors can check themselves in and out

Pros: this system is very user friendly and the ability to see what time a contractor arrives and departs from site and track their hours worked vs hours charged.

Cons: I haven't come across any real issues yet but perhaps a way of reducing all the notifications when arriving and leaving site.

Pros: All in one integrated package. The software covers all aspects required in the big company. Generates reports easy. This is amazing.

Cons: I'm a bit disappointed that when sign in to one devise, your not able to sign off only from the device you sign on.

Pros: The notifications are great. When the receptionist is away I can still know when my visitors arrive.

Cons: Nothing significant that we have found yet. This fit our bill quite nicely right out of the box. We would like to see some more customization in the future.

Pros: Easy to use and gives you all information about the operators including location of their work. We also can monitor the time spent on site for each visitor and contractor

Cons: occasionally when it goes through update and we have contractors waiting to sign in. It stays out of action for sometime.

Overall: Easy to manage visitors and contractors. It saves us lot of time etc

Pros: Looks professional and suits the company well.
Keeps a record of names.
Saves paper and is easier for guests to sign in .

Cons: I haven't actually used it as I don't need to log into the system, but I don't hear any complaints from other people.

Pros: The setup was easy, and the customer service was great. We have had no issues explaining the process. or with customers figuring it out.

Cons: There is nothing about the equipment that I do not like. We have not heard any negative feedback from anyone.

Pros: Sending alerts to emails to advise me when I am not in the office that someone is onsite here to see me

Pros: seemed very easy to use from a user standpoint. Automatically being notified when a visitor checks in and being able to see any visitors that have checked in with software.

Pros: That it is easy to use and keep me updating in who enter in and out the office. We are a small company and we are growing. all located have this set up. And I can also see who entering in the office with my Iphone.

Cons: This is a great software. We love the system here at GOSO due to we don't have to be at work and we can still see who sign in and out. AWESOME

Pros: Have your visitors follow the prompts on the screen, the printer will print a badge WITH their photo on it and they can sign out WITH their badge. Actually, I really like that I can sign returning people in and out with a click.

Cons: At times there is a lag in the system connecting with the badge printer, however that could be a hardware issue. Also the duplicate hosts and hosts needing to give more info than necessary.

Pros: No receptionist needed. It let's us know when the person is here and let's us know when they leave.

Cons: Works well but when they take a picture, they usually come out too dark. We might have to put a lamp out.

Pros: Very simple to set up and roll out. Plenty of customization options to fit different styles, but with the interface, makes reviewing these option choices easy.

Cons: No complaints about the software, more from equipment support (enrolling iPad through corporate system when cannot get iPad purchase into Apple DEP / not using Sine iPad maintenance program).

Overall: Easy, simple implementation of visitor management software for reasonable price.

Pros: Easy to setup the screen interface and push to an iPad. Nice Web interface to upload pictures.

Cons: Requires a third party solution (webhook) to make the product work with Aruba Clearpass. Strange that Sine does not provide a webhook a solution.
Additional, any time the app closes, it can take up to 1 minute to refresh. Similar products only refresh once there is a pending change on the web.

Pros: Works well. Flexible deployment of ipads for sign in at lobby points.
Adding more words because the form says I have to and this is very frustrating. Why would you do this?

Cons: Configuration isn't intuitive to me, I had to look up the user manual to see how to change some settings, and I'm very IT savvy.

Pros: Easy for people to use, good looking equipment for a corporate front of house, Ease of setup and operation generally, love the on line help chat, very adaptable

Cons: Not a lot at present have only used it for a week, the only thing I would like to be able to do is keep the data on our own servers, as we have union problems with personal data

Pros: It is better than the Visitor's Book that we had before as the ink on the book starts to blur out or not copied through. Sine is clear and convenient to retrieve any historical records.

Cons: Unexpected visitors do not know if the person they are calling in is away on leave or out resulting in visitors waiting in the reception area.

Pros: It has a professional look and feel about it. It also means that I don't always have to be around to greet visitors, as they contact whoever they are meeting directly on SINE.

Cons: No tabs when entering data, but other than that I am very happy with it.

Pros: Sine is easy to use, for both the staff and visitors. It has options around manual check in, logging in at the SINE system and using your phone via the app. It is great when staff are busy, that visitors can just log in

Cons: When you manually sign people in - they are not remembered in the system. It would be helpful if you manually enter them in that they are also remembered, We have had some instances of low battery, of the system not charging and this caused issues.

Overall: With the manual system people did not want to use it - or did not complete the answers or put the information in the wrong spaces which meant you really didnt know who was in your building - with SINe - they have to complete to enter and you have clear concise information

Thanks Carolyn for the feedback. As long as you have the iPad plugged in, it wont drain your battery faster than it charges, so we recommend leaving it plugged in and charging. If there's anything we can do to perhaps make your check-in forms simpler, we'll gladly recommend it. The beauty of Sine is it's an easy and intuitive touchscreen interface that your guests should be able to navigate through. Pros: The software is easy to use for guests. The customization that is available on questions is great for our center as things change and we need to make those changes. Most importantly all changes made are in real time, there is not waiting for an update.

Cons: Editing responses, I would like to be able to edit a response once it has been entered. Sometimes guests click on the incorrect answer and we need to make a change. Deleting a guest if they choose not to go through with the appointment or to start all over.

Overall: Easy tracking of activity in office.

Pros: Ease of use. It is very customizable therefore it means our needed. Ability to keep track of all visitors.

Cons: I love everything about this software. There is only one thing I had difficulty with which is printing from a regular printer when the label printer is not working. It doesn't allow me to resize the label so the label is too big.

Pros: It tells me when people have arrived on site. The stickers are a good idea.

Cons: I still don't know what I need to do when and if the printer will next go off line.
Someone came out a week ago to fix the printer issue and I don't know what the outcome was.

Pros: Customer support is top notch! Every question and concern throughout our deployment has been answered quickly and accurately.

Cons: There isn't really anything not to like about this software. Some improvements on kiosks, when your guest checks in it would be nice for the notification of which kiosk they checked in at. On our campus we have 6 kiosks, guests sometimes check in at the wrong building. It would be nice to have a location which kiosk was used.

Pros: The software was easily customized for facility needs. It allows seamless sign-in/sign-out of contractors and visitors. We've also adopted questions upon sign-out that allows us to reinforce safety protocols. Most employees and vendors have opted to use the app-based sign-in.

Cons: It could be less about the software and more about the iPad; however, at least weekly, the software must be rebooted on our lobby iPad. Currently investigating a fix.

Pros: really like the checkout feature, which allow admins to check users out, also the app is really nice

Cons: the automation is a bit tricky, would have really like to have it AD integrated so don't have to manually upload the hosts, I know you can use curls but that's bit complicated.

Pros: It works well WHEN it's working. Data syncs instantly to the dashboard from the iPad. Easy for end users and receptionists.

Cons: We received a trial kit for testing and it didn't work. Spoke to 3-4 people to try to get it working and wasted the whole day trying to setup everything from scratch. Ended up send it back for a second kit then had issues setting up the printer. Don't expect any training from them as they just tell you to go to the site (this is a terrible first impression). As the admin, it has limited search filters and customization on the dashboard. Troubleshooting the printer would be very difficult for non-technical users as their support team assume you can do these tasks. This is a concern for us as we plan to roll this out to multiple sites and I don't have time to troubleshoot since Sine do not have any onsite support.

Pros: Visitors are identifiable with the sticker, visitors find it easy to use, hosts can work efficiently with the visitor management system. There is a record of visitors for emergency evacuation purposes.

Creating invitiations is an effective, user friendly, and efficient to use, when I am given a list from a host to generate QR codes for the visitor, which saves time for them.

Cons: When it comes to the' consent to provide further information' section, if a visitor reads it thoroughly then it resets to the home page after some time (approx. 1 minute) the visitor has to start again and input their details. Can there be a longer time delay, so the visitor can read the information without having to input visitor details again? At least 3 mins should be enough, to account for slower readers.

Overall: Verifying visitors onsite for security and evacuation purposes and also to aid in facilitating the ease of engagement between hosts and visitors.

Pros: You can see the history of people who have signed in and people can check in quicker if they have signed in before.

Cons: doesn't always print out the labels, and doesn't always remember previous people checked in. Still unsure of how to bulk add people on for large events.

Cons: Overall there is no downside, the system does take a bit to load the information at the start, it would be great if once you started to type you number it remembered and finished for you

Pros: It is so easy to use and it intergrates with Outlook. It makes manageing all guest types on site so easy and hassell free.

Cons: Honostly, I cant fault this software. It is so easy to use and the support is amazing. If I had to be critical, I would say that the home screen doesn't have to have a list of who has checked-in or out. If you need to know this information then search for it.

Overall: Ease of use, outlook intergration and management of guest on site is so easy. Other options it has like reporting, evacuation list OHS info etc is what make it easy to mange guests.

Cons: The reliance on wireless for the printer seems to be our biggest issue. We have had to keep the screen on at all times to keep the system responsive

Pros: Easy to use software so far. I am not aware of any upgrades so that will be the true test. It's a vey effective and efficient system. Guests appreciate it.

Pros: Customisable to what the site requires. The web interface is easy to use and access. Label printing and/or virtual passes are great to use as well.

Cons: One thing is it can't be displayed in portrait mode. Other issues would be labels cannot be customised.

Overall: Signing into sites are much more easier now and the form can be accessed by multiple people on or offsite to make sure information is correct.

Cheers Stepahno for the positive feedback. Great to see things working well for you. SinePoint Pro can be used in portrait mode very easily, just adjust the positioning of the iPad and it'll automatically rotate. We do however recommend using SinePoint Pro in landscape mode.

Pros: We purchased this product over others on the market because of the ease of use to setup and administer.

Cons: Although I wanted something that didn't have so many features that it would be difficult to train people on there are a few things that would be nice to see such as integrations into chat applications in order to notify hosts.

Overall: a great automated solution to hosting visitors

Pros: This system makes it easier for me to keep track of what customers I have onsite, what time they have arrived and when they have left,

Cons: This is not so much what I like least but what i think should be available and that just as we have a employees register we should have a designated company list to select from when they attend site which confirms they are working for a registered company to our business.
For example if the company is Man Roland - some will sign in they are from MAN some will sign in they are from Man Roland and another might sign in as MRA

Pros: Like the dashboard how simple it is for users to use, has heaps of extra features, mobile app checkins. Easy for all types of users to use

Cons: no mobile admin interface, in an emergency we need to have a big bulky device or laptop to login to the dashboard to identify contractors on site.
ID card printers can be problematic when on wifi and sometimes not print.

Overall: Easy management of visitors to our site.

Pros: the ease of checking in for returning visitors, visitors are not waiting to be checked in, we also like the fact that it prints the badges

Cons: The only issue we have found is that the scanner does not always work upon check out, so they have to then type their emails in again.

Pros: This visitor software has the following great features: user-friendly interface; email/sms host notifications; convenient guest check-in/out process; easy multisite implementation; support foreign languages interface on the fly; mobile app for visitors; run on an affordable hardware platform.

Cons: You have to use predefined visitor's pass templates. They have the limited customization abilities.

Pros: Frees up the receptionist time with not having to announce visitors. Reception does not need to be manned when visitors enter.

Cons: Every now and then it doesn't recognize a return visitor and all details need to be entered again, frustrating for the visitor.

Pros: Flexibility, stability and ease of use. Our users, both guests and internal hosts have been able to use the system with little training required.

Cons: Not being able to customize fonts and sizes on the guest label, or influence label design manually. We need the ability to manipulate certain aspects that are not currently available.

Pros: Simple to use once installed. If your requirements are very simple and you don't have an IT department, this system can be a good solution.

Cons: It allows for no customization. From the perspective of a large organization with multiple offices, having a customization program is important. The standard design for your badge is very poor. Having to put up with a head icon because we choose not to take a picture of the visitor is unacceptable. The client should either be able to design his own badge or you should have support to modify the design to meet the needs of the client.

Overall: I learned to ask more specific questions up front and not to believe that there was really a team of techs to help support the product.

Pros: how it looks on the IPAD .How we can show maps./pdfs on the contractor/visitor check in. geo fencing is also a great feature.

Cons: I find it ridiculous that a staff member has to select a host to when checking in. This should not be an option for staff, just contractors and visitors.

Pros: we have been able to remove the dedicated reception role. the app is inviting and guests have no trouble using it

Pros: Sine is very configurable to business needs with ongoing updates to functionality. Updates to the kiosk are very simple and automatically update when saved which is a great feature. Ongoing support and live chat has been prompt and a wonderful experience overall. The Sine team have shown great interest in solving any minor bump in the road.

Cons: Some features are not yet available which causes some confusion amongst hosts. This is mainly on the iPhone app notifications only being issued when the app is open in the background.

Pros: Automatically uploading information through the API easily ensures that staff information is kept up-to-date and synchronised with other data sources (such as an LDAP Directory). The simple interface is also easy for visitors of all backgrounds to use.

Cons: It's quite limited or restricted in terms of customisation making it difficult to use as a replacement for a human receptionist. For example, adding buttons to the idle screen for walk-in visitors such as job seekers, or customising email notifications to CC a team as well as send to the host simply aren't possible.

Overall: Digitisation and better security over a traditional paper sign-in book

Pros: Customer support representative has been great to deal with help to fix a few printing issues and do a system upgrade that was required. Receiving emails when there are printing issues is a great addition to the updates that happened recently

Cons: don't really have any issues with Sine Pro, the only negative I can think of is that sometimes guests are cancelling the printing after the host name has been entered, therefore not printing a sticker

Pros: Pros to this software are that it is easy to use and has some great features to track visitors pre-organise visitor passes. The broadcast feature can be very useful, and if you are using visitor passes you can message the guest to advise that they have not returned their card.

Cons: It seems after a if you don't operate the software after a while it "times out" and you have to refresh the page before doing anything else. (this being if you are using it from a web page)

Pros: visitor setting up his profile so he doesn't have to spend ages filling in the IPAD ..
presetting up invitations for large groups attending .. and being able to sign them out with the click of a button ..

Cons: printing: had a few issues with preprinting badges .. printing out duplicates and then the next day not printing at all .. and the printer going off line regularly which means the visitor can't print a badge ..
System: going offline regularly - so that it either doesn't work when visitors arrive or it won't scan their badge as its offline ..

Pros: Efficient and easy to operate. Gives us an accurate measure of who has signed in and departed the building. The ability to sign in with the app is a good feature, especially for our regular visitors.

Cons: Limitations with the mobile phone field. If the visitor has no mobile, sign in cannot proceed. An option to skip this field would be useful

Pros: Easy to use
Intuitive set up
Support team happy to work with me through several different possible options to allow a family of siblings is entered each Saturday as quickly as possible.
Support team fast acting through text, providing helpful links I could follow.
Support team called to go through what became a more complex situation after first few solutions didn't work, and were able to talk to me without tech jargon.
Love geo fence so families can't say they have attended when they haven't.
Gave us space to work out how we could use the software without pressuring us about the invoice and interrupting our service while we did some trial and error.
Parents love it.
Fast track codes are great.
QR codes are great, parents thought were really high tech savvy when we trialed those.

Cons: I know the software is not designed to sign in multiple children who might be enrolled with one parent with one email and one mobile phone number. I get normally this would be used for an adult signing in to a location. On this basis it is great.

For our purpose, not being able to log in once and for a parent to answer questions pertaining to each of their children is an issue. One potential option was for the number of visitor types to increase, so a family could log in to their own type where their check in form is customised for their children.

Pros: I helps the visitor to contact the person immediately via e-mail without contacting them over the phone.

Cons: Some of the features are not available like to skip the person whom they want to see and automatically send them the e-mail. For example, if the visitor is for job application, it will automatically send an e-mail to HR.

Overall: Avoid issuing ID pass and ask them to log their names and company info.
