Pros: Using the tool (whether as a end user filling a survey or creating one) is a joy that is unparalleled. The tool moves so fluidly and languidly from one question to another that it is an utter delight to fill forms. The tool also allows embedding images and videos which I use all the time. The company is very responsive and always open to listening to ideas about new features. They have also provided great support in answering my queries.

Cons: The tool exports to excel, it takes a lot of formatting to make the export legible. Also the summary results visualizations in TypeForm is quite basic. I have seen other tools like SparkCharts tackle this better.

Overall: User experience, Survey Organization, Payment collection

Pros: The tool offers basic but more than sufficient features on their free plan which is great.
The interface is really intuitive and you can move around and create your survey with little to no experience in this.

Cons: It lacks some very useful features that other tools offer, such as exporting results as .xlsx or launching a survey through different channels.
Also, since the hosting is based in the US it is not GDPR compliant, which can be an issue if you are planning to launch a survey in Europe.

Pros: Simple and intuitive. At first login, proper steps and guidance is given. Tyepform also has extensive features, ability to upload documents, sync to google sheets. API linkages are plentiful as well.

Cons: Slow loading time on the website. Was not able to access certain pages due to slow loading time, hopefully a short term issue. Otherwise, good so far. Cost is a little high per month though.

Pros: Collect data effectively and easily with a wonderful user experience for your team, clients, or prospects. The entire user experience is smooth and the surveys are simple to develop. Amazing support - any issue I've had I've gotten feedback right away. Great analytics as well. Their client communications are amazing as well, great brand voice and consistency throughout the experience.

Cons: Integrations could be improved: We need to use Zapier to do integrations with most of our other services. It would be great to be able to change more of the settings in the results view to share them broadly with users.

Pros: I love typeform because I haven't found a functional and embeddable(?) survey or form tool to use outside of SurveyMonkey. It's pretty straightforward to use and build forms/surveys.

Cons: Typeform was fairly easy to use, but accessing analytics/results at the end is a little hard to find. Once you do tho, it's never a problem.

Pros: We use Typeform for surveying collegaues on different topics. The feature set gives us enough functionality to cover all the questions and answers that we would like to collect.

Comments: In general, I really enjoy using Typeform and it has made life much easier in many ways. So I give it a big thumbs up!

Pros: The best thing I love about Typeform is that it's so effective because it looks so good and the work is done in minimum time. Another thing I like about it is its interface, it's so easy to see and add the logic jumps, the hidden fields, etc. It makes life much easier because of that. Another thing I like it that it has so many features that we can use to make our forms work in the most efficient way. I aslo love the way the summary of responses is given - makes it easy to analyse.

Cons: I did not find many cons while working with Typeform. But here are a few things I noticed: 1. It gets a little slow at times and might take a while to respond. 2. Sometimes even when no changes are made, it shows that someone else has made changes and the last few changes that are made by you get undone.

Pros: Typeform made forms sexy. Users frequently share how much they like the experience of filling out a form made in Typeform.

Cons: Typeform is stupidly expensive for what it does. Typeform's USP is how sexy it is, and how easy it is for users to submit content. Well, it's also easy to imitate.

SurveyMonkey can do what Typeform does, has a ton more features -- and it's significantly cheaper to boot.

Pros: The design. It's clean, easy to use, and even easier to customize (even at the free tier). The platform runs smoothly across all browsers, and there's no issues for any of the people I've sent a survey to.

Cons: I wish that branching logic was included in the free version. When I'm working with a new client and want to send a lightweight survey out, I usually default to the free tier and have to find workarounds for that one issue.

Pros: Typeform allows us to build vibrant contact forms to profile our incoming leads and filter for their budget, style choices .etc.

We can pre-qualify them and cut down on lengthy email chains and phone calls. This helps them, and us!

Cons: Some of the optional form response types require paid accounts. This could be costly if you only need to create forms occasionally. In this case, free alternatives (e.g. Google Forms) could be the better choice.

Pros: I love how easy it is to set up data-gathering materials with Typeform. I recently created my first survey the other week and customised it as much as Typeform allowed, and it honestly looked like developers built it for me. It's so nice and gets me the data I need from people I reach.

Cons: I think the only thing I want changed right now is the fact that every time I log in to my account, I am redirected to a specific folder of my surveys! I'm more inclined to see the landing page where I can see all subfolders instead of starting off in a specific folder straight up.

Pros: We absolutely love Typeform for our business. We have created many lead generating surveys and tools to help our users. We have even converted our PDF applications into interactive typeforms so people can complete applications on their mobile device.

Typeform is easy to use, the possibilities are endless, and it is fun for users.

We like the ability to customize typeform for our business using our business color scheme and logo. We also like that we can customize our typeform link when sending to clients. It feels less like we are sending them to a third party software and more like they are still on our website.

Cons: The "Calculate" feature does not actually calculate in the sense of a real calculator. Rather, it calculates "points" if you are creating quizzes and surveys.

The new Typeform interface is kind of hard to get used to simply because we were SO used to the old interface. It's always hard when software companies change up their tool or give their tool a face lift....it takes some getting used to. New users will have no difficulty though. It's only a con for us because we were used to their original interface.

Pros: For an easy, intuitive, and feature-filled form management software, Typeform is undoubtedly best in class. Its recently redesigned interface is top notch I love using it. It's genuinely fun!

Cons: The pricing is far too high for casual users. You need to seriously depend on it to justify the expense, especially at the higher tiers. Unfortunately, a number of features that are table stakes for most form software are tucked away in higher tiers on Typeform, like "redirect after submit" (how is it that this is only available on the highest priced tier? seriously!?). If you're someone who only needs a handful of forms, you can probably find a cheaper alternative that does more, albeit in a less elegant interface.

Pros: I've been working as a market researcher for quite some time. It's proficient enough for mundane tasks, and overall I am impressed with the multitude of options it comes preconfigured with (you can use it for as little as a poll, or as trivial and amusing as a trivia quiz with immediate scoring, or as complex as a market research survey with logic answers). I love that Typeform has a live preview that allows you to see instantly what your typeform will look like. In my previous jobs I used to find it tricky to create modern, attractive designs on the softwares I was using at the time; Typeform proved to me that it's sleek, intuitive, and really modern; you can embed videos into the survey, you can embed it on your webpage, or share it directly via social media, and you have immediate access to the live responses. The reporting is basic, but hey, you can integrate it with your favourite apps via Zapier or Google Sheets if your wanted to do some proper analysis.

Cons: The URL of the generated survey captures the name as registered on the account. When I use it for various purposes, I don't like having that name show up, so I manually have to go into the account to change it every time if I create a typeform that would benefit from a URL that has resonance to my audience. The good thing is that changing the registeres name in this fashion does not affect existent active links; so you can change it over and over again. Having said that, in light of all the positives, it's not that big of a deal, but I'd appreciate the flexibility in editing my URL.

Pros: I love how easy and user-friendly this software is. I really like that you only see one question at a time so the survey-taker isn't overwhelmed with the number of questions they have ahead of them. I also really appreciate out modern, simple, and aesthetically pleasing this program is.

Cons: The only issue I have with this program is the price. Fees per month is more than the majority of my online software subscriptions and this is the least necessary of the bunch because of the number of free alternatives there are out there.

Overall: Easy, user-friendly data collecting which helped me gain feedback from my audience and improve my digital products.

Pros: I love about it that it is dynamic, easy to use and let's users submit responses to surveys or application forms just by typing, without using the mouse. It allows you to put pictures instead of text answers, or even animations and icons. I did one travel habits survey and got over 250 answers, compared to the same survey applied through Google Forms with around 60 answers, so far more attractiveness.

Cons: It can be limiting sometimes in the way you form the questions and possible answers. Also, it can be a struggle to fully integrate it on some websites, even though on mine worked quite fine.

Pros: Having an organized report of the answers of any form is the best thing about Typeform, having email notifications and being able to integrate alerts easily on Slack.

Pros: * Typeform forms are SO. FAST. to create.
* The ability to personalize forms. Collect info like user name, then use that same information later on in the form.
* Logic and branching.
* We've used Typeform to create light surveys -- while the analytic tools aren't nearly as robust as, say, SurveyMonkey or Qualtrics, it does provide for a smooth, enjoyable experience for those answering the questions.
* We haven't used this feature yet, but the ability to embed a rating-scale question right into an email is pretty sweet.
* The graphical display of answers to questions is very useful. We've used this feature to create instant polls and it's worked like a charm.

Cons: * It's always very easy to tell when I'm using a form that was created with Typeform. More visual customization options, please!
* I wish the calculator function was a little more robust.

Pros: - Amazing design. I have to use a better designed form.
- Great integrations. Typeform can be integrated with Zapier, which basically means that Typeform can be integrated with every other hip technology out there. Want a slack message when a new form is filled out? Done! Want your Trello boards to update with form information? Alright!

Cons: Though the free version does a lot, the paid version does add a bit more. The paid version is great, but can be hard to justify unless you are getting a ton of responses. As someone who uses forms to do customer intake, my business is not at the point where I can validate a /month form. I opted for Ninja Forms for my customer side instead, but still prefer Typeform for all business side form information.

Pros: Typeform is very easy to setup and use. It has a great variety of types of fields, but the best thing is the statistics. Typeform does great what it was made for - collect data and analyze it, presenting the data in an easy-to-read manner.

Pros: Typeform allows you to collect information in a survey format and displays all collected data in a spreadsheet-style page for comparing and analyzing data.

Cons: There is no way to view a single user's data entry as a one page form or document, it always goes into a spreadsheet.

Pros: The thing that drew me to Typeform and has kept me is its unique feel and flavor. It's ease of use on mobile platforms was also a big deciding factor.

Cons: Until the recent interface overhaul, the builder was slow, but that is fixed now. Now, it's just taking longer than expected to adjust to the new format.

Pros: I love the new design which makes new forms so easy and duplicating old ones with changes even faster. It's fun to work with. Everything is well organized, from design to sharing and analyses. Easy to export as csv or xlsx.

Cons: It was difficult for me to see the real live preview of what the form will look like. I think analyses in the new version could be designed a little bit better, now the default view is very long and I have to scroll a lot.

Pros: It's fairly intuitive to use, with lots of options for each question and answer type. It also stores all information on a spreadsheet including the IP address of the person doing the form so you can identify multiple entries from the same person.

Cons: It's quite limited when you want to do something more complex, and it is very time-consuming to set up/make changes as you have to set logic jumps etc for each part individually.

Pros: Form or surveys built with Typeform have a unique look that is easy to navigate and compatible with any device. Responsive design makes your form work on both desktop and mobile. Additionally, there are several ways to deploy your form. Their copy/paste code makes it very easy to create popups or overlays on your website.

Typeform v2 just launched and it is a drastic change from v1, but with a little exposure, it quickly becomes apparent that they have made it faster than ever to create a form. v2 instantly displays changes that you make to your form and building it is as easy as typing in the browser. Along with its ease of use, Typeform offers more complex features that really allow you to expand your uses for the product. We use question branching and the calculator tool to make an inexpensive online quiz for a segment of our users. Typeform also supports embedding YouTube and Vimeo videos and uploading pictures.

Cons: There are two aspects of Typeform that I do not like. First, each "question" only allows you to upload one image and embed one video. I realize that this keeps it clean and elegant looking, but I would like the choice to use more if I want. Second, it would be nice if it supported basic HTML code for things like embedding a video from your own video service. Currently, I have to re-upload videos that we use to an unlisted YouTube account in order to use them in Typeform.

Overall: Typeform is very inexpensive for the features it offers and people are very impressed with the end result. We have been able to use it for much more than just a simple form or survey. They seem to be improving the product with v2 and it comes with no additional cost.

Pros: The forms are really beautiful. They're actually fun to fill out -- there's a lot of white space and you only see one step at a time, which makes the form feel manageable. The forms are also easy to create. You can easily insert new questions, drag and drop to rearrange, customize appearance, etc.

Cons: There are some types of questions/form fields that Typeform doesn't support yet. It can also be a little confusing to set up logical questions (e.g., if user answers A, go to X, but if user answers B, go to Y and then X). It took a couple times to get the hang of it.

Pros: Like the ways information is displayed to our end users. Really like the new direct integration with Google Sheets.

Cons: I really, really wish I could embed an entire form view on a webpage. It's a major downside to this product for my team, and our use cases. I've had to deploy other form builders on our website, and would much prefer a Typeform. (Yes, I realize I can embed Typeforms, but want users to see ALL questions on the form at once, not dripped out one at a time.)

Pros: We have been using Typeform for more than 2 years now. The interface of Typeform survey makes it the best choice for any marketing professional including me to generate leads or run a survey. You can also replace your traditional Contact Form with Typeform to let users enjoy while interacting with your lead form. The logic jump is another good feature to develop dynamic surveys which also allows filtering users in the first instant.

Cons: Price is little heavy for small companies like us. We also noticed quite good amount of bounce rate as few users are still not acquited with kind of interface for submitting surveys which brings that fear of element of losing few potential users.

Pros: Nice and very user interactive, engaging forms, perfect for mobile devices. Good and clean user interface for building and administrating forms. Seamless and stable integration of Stripe payments. Very flexible, you have all possibilities to use. I recommend to use it for collecting quick feedbacks with manageable data to collect. Very easy website and e-mail embed.

Cons: For me, typeform provides too much playful details and they stick on the "skip from one entry to the next" approach. That means you fill out one question and you have to click to skip to the next question. In my opinion, this is not always the best way to provide online forms to your folks. You have to click 10 times to fill out your name and your address, hmm.

Overall: Flexible and easy to use way to collect data to understand the needs and concern of our customers better.

Pros: The most beautifully designed online cross platform forms which will increase engagement and response rates because quite simply, they don't suck to use!

Web forms are frustrating to use, especially on mobile devices, Typeforms are not.

There are excellent features to survey people in a more innovative and direct questioning way rather than monotonous and monolithic forms. People respond better to Typeforms based on our survey results.

Payment integrations and conditional fields make this great for selling complex products, such as in our case medical consultations which benefit from some data gathering before the event.

Cons: Very expensive for a SAAS product. Bearing in mind that you usually integrate it with some other SAAS product as either a data store or action / charge mechanism it adds up fast.

Really limited free tier in both scale (responses) and feature set.

The reporting features could be better for the price and are a bit too dependent on exporting as a spreadsheet.

Overall: Excellent user interface for online and mobile friendly forms which is proven to increase survey and sales engagement due to being a good user experience.

Pros: I am a college student involved in entrepreneurship endeavors with groups and have used Typeform to create surveys to collect research for some of our target groups. I find it very intuitive to use and love the choices when it comes to how I am able to ask the question (i.e. multiple choice, select many, short answer). I also really enjoy being able to see the metrics and analyze the responses we have received on the surveys. Being able to download the results data as an Excel spreadsheet is one of my favorite features! The reports feature is also really nice as I can use that to visually present information/results of the survey. Being able to share the surveys I create is also very easy!

Cons: As a student and not a constant user, I wish there were different packages available to fit my needs. I cannot justify upgrading for more features such as being able to add other people to your workspace, when I am able to get the survey done myself and report back the findings. I would be nice if instead of maybe adding people to the workspace that would be able to make edits and create surveys, that they could just view the results. It would save me some time and help my teams collaborate better. Overall, I really enjoy the basic plan, but would consider upgrading if there was a package that fit my needs better!

Pros: Typeform is very, very easy to use. We don't need help from the design team to make good-looking surveys and forms. I like that we can embed the tool right into our existing landing pages, rather than sending them to an external site so we can control the user experience 100%. I also really like the personalized aspect of it, where we can pull in the user's answers for later questions - that is something that we've found lacking in other, more expensive software systems of a similar type. And it's very cost-effective which is the cherry on top.

Cons: I don't love the 'results' view. I would really like to see more data analysis features/aggregated results rather than having them all listed individually. There is the option to export to Excel and do it yourself, but I'd really be happiest to have analytics tools (like in SurveyMonkey) right in the browser and easily usable/accessible.

Overall: We can create a more interactive experience for our site visitors and gather information with ease.

Pros: We use Typeform primarily for lead generation. It is a beautiful way to capture information from people. It makes inputting information interactive, not boring and time-consuming. Customization is easy, and there are multiple ways to share your Typeform once you build it (embed it, create your own Typeform page, etc) What I loved best is that you could test the "pro" version out before buying AND you didn't need to start over. You can start on the free version, then upgrade to the pro version for free to try it out, and not have to spend time re-creating your content. Typeform duplicates your content for you and allows you to see what you could do to your Typeforms if you used the pro version. Super helpful. Customer support is great via email, Very professional and kind :)

Cons: No cons. The learning curve is easy, there are tons of Typeforms you can view beforehand for inspiration. There's really nothing not to like.

Comments: I love Typeform but the recent change of limiting the maximum number of responses for the free version is not a nice move. Till now I have spend more and more time to understand type form better and even considered paying in the future. However now having only 100 Responses before I pay, I won't be even able to calculate Stat Sig results from one type form to another to proof the value first. This basically forces me to chose another provider like google forms or Mailchimp forms because I am not able to test the value first before I can start spending on the Typeform which I love.

Pros: -Great Design -Great User Experience -Nice underdog of forms next to google forms, survey monkey, etc...

Cons: -Pricing Model (pay after 100 responses and no step in between USD0 and USD30 per month) -Customer/sales support

Recommendations to other buyers: Only choose Typeform if you know how you can monetize it already and understand how it can create value for your business or if you are willing to pay for some time to test it out.

Pros: aesthetics, automatic reply, and analytics

Overall: I migrated over from Google Forms over to Typeform over a year ago. My company was first using the free version but quickly needed to purchase the $35/mo plan for our purposes. It's quite a steep price, but because the form is a core part of our business, there's no getting around it.

The ability to send an automatic reply (paid version) as well as organizing the replies exported to a .csv (free) allows you to use this app in a multitude of ways.

If you're looking to build a robust form with a beautiful interface, it's awesome. You always have the free option if you're just looking to feel it out.

Pros: The free version offers lots of features and you don't have to pay too much to get the premium setup. It's easy and straightforward to use.

Cons: I can't think of a lot to complain about this software, maybe if you were creating 1000s of forms it wouldn't be well suited but I really enjoyed using the software.

Overall: I have used TypeForm to create business applications as well as reference request forms. I enjoyed using the software and it was very easy and simple to use. The forms you create with Typeform look very professional and are easy for the end user to navigate as well. Your responses can be saved into a database which can be easily manipulated with excel or other software depending on what you are trying to do with the forms.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would recommend using this over the other free options out there, It really is more powerful than a lot of the options.

Comments: We've been using Typeform surveys to collect data continually from our customers all over the world, continually, 24x7. We transfer survey data to our systems via Typeform's API. In terms of design and usability, the surveys are way ahead of the competition. It's great value for money too. Where I'm hesitant to recommend Typeform is in terms of reliability. The platform itself still goes down occasionally. In the last 12 months we've had two big issues that have both lasted a couple of days. In most use cases (if you want to run non-time-critical surveys, where an error message popping up is no big deal), Typeform is an amazing data collection instrument. But if your own brand/image depends on it, I think it's going to take a bit longer before Typeform's own infrastructure and architecture is robust enough. Customer care is always helpful and friendly. Just be aware that they're not available 24x7, which is noticeable if you're not in their timezone (CET).

Pros: Survey looks and works great across all hardware/browsers. Ease of use. Value for money.

Cons: Service not reliable enough (if your brand depends on it). Customer support not 24x7.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you want a great looking survey, I thoroughly recommend Typeform.

Pros: Easy to create
Looks great on desktop or mobile
User friendly
Customer support is awesome

Cons: The calculator feature doesn't actually calculate. But it still does some pretty neat things.

Overall: Just started using Typeform for our business maybe two months ago. Loving how easy it is to make something so fun and engaging. Also appreciate that Typeform lets you test out their Pro version before you buy. And not just on a 7-day trial. You can clone any of your basic Typeforms and continue to create them in the Pro version. If you love it, you can just upgrade to Pro. We've had awesome results so far with what we have created.

Recommendations to other buyers: Give it a try. It's free and you can test out if you want to pay extra for the Pro features (logic jump, etc)

Comments: I used to host/maintain php forms on my server but I needed something that offered a better user experience and had an API. I gave typeform a try. I've been using typeform for almost a year, on a paid plan. It has some great styling features, some logic capabilities, and is overall fairly flexible (from customer feedback, to quiz, to sales). I use it to collect files from users and my biggest issue is how buggy the download options are. It's so bad I'm considering switching to another service.

Pros: The API is solid and can be leveraged through Zapier. The layout keeps users focused and the styling options are good.

Cons: File management is a big issue. Whenever I try to download a file that has been uploaded by a user, typeform initiates 10 to 20 parallel downloads. I've tried to report a bug, but typeform only accepts "suggestions." I don't know what this means in terms of their commitment.

Comments: Typeform is so easy and intuitive it's almost silly. It seems like they really took the time to figure out what the user would do intuitively, and it makes it incredibly easy to pick up. Well done, guys!

Pros: Super easy to build, surveys look great.

Cons: Not really a con, but I'm a little nervous that the "coolness" of the survey might be distracting for survey takers.

Disappointed; significant number of results lost

Comments: Typeform don't make it obvious, but they do NOT store partial or incomplete results. In my survey over 120 people started the survey, only 55 completed it. Partial responses would still have been hugely valuable to me, but they're not available with Typeform. They ARE available with SurveyMonkey. I wrote to TypeForm with feedback. Their response "About the issue with not-saved responses, it's the kind of confusion we try to avoid, asking users to test carefully their typeforms before using them..... we are not looking to implement this feature in the near future" So a warning to people: If any response (partial or full) is valuable to you in a survey, please be aware that TypeForm doesn't store the results until the final page where the person clicks "Submit".

Pros: Beautiful looking surveys, easy to setup, fantastic analysis tools.

Cons: Doesn't save partial responses. Some concern, as 3 seperate people reported not being able to submit at the end.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. There is an issue around the legality (and morality) about storing answers a respondent gives before submitting. In paginated surveys such as those built with SM, the respondent needs to click on a "Next" button to go to the next page of questions. And in case the survey only has one page and the respondent does not click "Done", SM does not save the answers either. To improve your completion rate, apart from applying a design or making colors and images fit your brand's, make sure to use picture choice and multiple choice whenever possible. Also use Long Text fields only when absolutely necessary and try to keep your survey as short as possible. The average completion rate our users are getting is 55% (which is considered high in the online survey industry) and we've seen some typeforms which follow these guidelines get completion rates as high as 80%. It's unfortunate you only realized we don't save non-submitted answers after publishing your survey, and I'm truly sorry about that. If there's anything I can help you with, don't hesitate getting back to me. Pedro

In an ADD-Time Crunched World, Typeform Keeps the User Engaged

Comments: This is an awesome product as much for style as functionality! Typeform has made forms and filling out forms interactive, engaging, and I'll even say sexy! It's easy to use, incredibly flexible and it immediately overcomes the immediate sales resistance of filling out a form because it is a form "pattern interrupt." If you'r e looking for an eye catching and flexible solution to create forms and so much more, Typeform will capture and convert your prospects and users because it really is fun and easy. Great app! Paid for the Pro Version, and it's already paid for itself.

Comments: I had been a SurveyMonkey user, but I happily made the switch to Typefrom when I saw its free version offers no restrictions. Plus, you can design really nice-looking forms with it! And there are other small things that make the difference. For example, whereas the end screen of forms made in SM is a hard selling page for them (this annoyed me a lot), in Typeform they're fully customizable (colors, text, images, social icons... and even a CTA button whose text and hyperlink you can edit). The forms you build do have have some "powered by" branding, but it's MUCH more subtle.

Pros: Design & branding flexibility, mobile experience, free plan is unlimited

Cons: Multiple choice questions options - you can set "choose as many as you want" or just "choose just one option" but you can't set "choose X options". They'll fix this soon though (the founder himself answered to my support ticket, how awesome is that?)

Typeform really helped my business

Comments: As a web developer, I need to be able to get as much information as I can from my clients to start a project. Normal survey tools are boring, and my clients zone out after a few minutes. Emails are unreliable, as they often get lost in the noise. I tried out Typeform, and have had great success.

Pros: - One question at a time keeps my clients focussed, so I get the information I need - Clients love the design, so they're more likely to fill it in - Features like Logic Jump and Hidden Fields help keep my form to the point

Cons: It would be great to be able to take payments using a Typeform, but I can't do that just yet.

Hey there, thanks for the kind words. We're actually already working on Stripe integration, so you'll be able to collect online payments using typeforms. We expect to launch this in 4-5 weeks!
