Pros Visibility, notifications/alerts, reports and bringing all of the data down to earth in a nice format. Cons If there is a problem, it sometimes can be difficult to solve. Redundant reports/categories are a bit confusing but not a deal breaker. Would be nice to know specifically what/where data a given report is pulling from to isolate what you may need. May 31, 2018 5.0 We have had the ability to gain further insight into various operations via automated reporting, canned reports as needed, and customized reports for our environment. This has allowed us to operate more efficiently from an administrative standpoint. Pros The reporting that is provided both OOB and available for building are quite robust. The GUI is very easy to navigate and quite intuitive. The ability to grant access to other users for their own reporting is extremely helpful as well! Cons The only con I have is that sometimes technical support can be a bit delayed in getting back to us for issues, but it is only slightly so not a huge con by any means. Pros An easy to understand, modern looking interface and sweet looking reports on a budget. Pretty easy to understand, and a lot of high level features. Great customer support and configuration assistance. Highly recommend the Jump Start package. Cons Well, it doesn't have "In the file" levels of changes that other (much) more expensive programs have. It can be difficult to whittle down the "noise" in Active Directory and other false positives, though thats an issue with all logging. A few of the settings are using confusing terms, but once trained it is understandable. Review Source LK Luke K. Pros The functionality of the software is impressive for tracking active directory changes and modifications. Cons Some configuration challenges and support from an older version is lacking, but with reason as long as you keep the product updated, you shouldn't run into troubles. Having information readily available for all logins, file accesses, active directory alterations has proven to be beyond crucial, especially at times when investigations of personnel are occurring. Cons Customer Support is great for the most part in answering questions, but they can take a lengthy amount of time in answering or resolving issues. Pros I like the fact that the information is funnelled for you and placed in a easy to read reporting. July 18, 2017 5.0 Pros Easy to use and setup, support is great and very responsive. Cost was a huge factor but I do not feel that we lost any capability by choosing Netwrix over other solutions. Having Netwrix reports and information has helped us greatly with client audits. Takes away some of the concern about activity in our systems as I'm alerted immediately or daily. It's allowed insight into things that you wouldn't necessarily get from a SIEM tool. Pros I love that I can get insight into AD, SQL, and VMware all on the same dashboard. This allows us to see what's going on both from an operational standpoint, but also from a security standpoint. It facilitates the need for both groups. Cons The thing I most dislike about the tool is it's not very intuitive. The UI/UX of the product isn't the best, but it's workable once you get some experience with the product. Pros Netwrix Auditor gives me opportunity to sort lots of information that are received from various channels. It is a very software. it became for me an important part of my job. Cons During our cooperation time i haven't noticed any negative. The only thing i think is unpleasant it that the software isn't quite easy to use. i need to train a lot to do job well. July 18, 2017 5.0 Auditing our environment from a compliance and troubleshooting perspective is a real value add. Pros Features is #1. Auditing should be flexible and usable. Reports are comprehensive and easy to use. RBAC plays a role with transparency. Cons Real time alerting is missing. Give people options to use agents. The upgrade made functional changes without being clear on the differences. All small things, but I'd ensure a change log exists and reviewable online. Maybe an RSS feed or blog? When running into problems with domain permissions, the error messages displayed did not really point anywhere but the installation PDF, which was of no help either relating to the problem. Would like to see an expanded knowledge base on the product. When running large data sets, performance is very slow even on current hardware.
