It's great. However some improvements are really necessary. E.g. More easy data tools. To check how many shifts/event we had in general for month/year/day etc

Pros

The support team is amazing. They quickly address all the issues with the product team to launch its implementation.

Cons

Technical issues. Bugs. It's important to have the app working seamlessly, but it happens on a regular basis that we have to reload it and reenter the info. E.g. Issue with tags - they are not being saved. Payroll section is not loading when you need to see the info for 1 year in the whole region (even for 1 position only) and section with addresses is taking forver to load all the location in 1 region

Overall great - the support team are always quick to reply and solve any issues too.

Pros

Very easy to use, clear for both staff and clients to use and navigate. The auto re-confirm function is great, the interface works very well, the restricting shifts function is great and you can really make the system your own

There are extra things I would love Ubeya to be able to do, especially for the client access side for example clients being able to handpick staff or create pools of staff to restrict shifts to

My overall experience has been really good bar the glitches as described in my previous answers. It would be make even better if all venues / clints were to use it. Although that is not fully in our control for seasonal clients. I do feel a stronger sense of team and connectivity with the staff, client and agency because of the visibility the app provides. It is much easier to connect to the staff and get quick feedback on what they might need in the moment; Compared to mass emails; its definitely the way to go.

Pros

It is much more convenient; for both employer and employees. Provides visibility to all parties, from client, to agency, to us the in house agency and employee. It gathers all necessary info on staff on their profile and in one space. We can see all specs on employees that we may not even know and decide on who would fit a role.

Cons

It is such a good platform and app that just the little things seems like big things etc The Glitches. Specifically with the Chat function. It allows employees to hole more than one chat function with us on the platform, which can be confusing. We are no longer able to create event chats anymore (something I utilized a lot in the beginning). It does not mark a chat as answered or read and brings up unnecessary notifications. Chats disappear and you only see half the conversation. As an admin you are unable to edit or delete messages. And lastly is would be helpful if one could archive chats and then when employees reply it would reappear in chat - much like emails. This would assist in keeping the chat clear. Lastly - and this may be specific to Ireland but the working week on Ubeya not matching that of the payroll week, really effects those on a visa that can only work a certain amount of hours eg 20 hrs 0r 40 hrs.

Not sure if I selected the correct one but it would have been SMART - AccuTem. It was the dinosaur of staff resourcing and management. It worked well but was not user friends. New people could not just hop on SMART and figure it out. It was time consuming and didnt marry everything in the resourcing process together. we were still emailing and collecting data manually.

Pros

Ubeya makes many staffing and HR processes so smooth! From booking staff for shifts, seeing staffing shortages on an event day, to processing payroll. It is a speedy servuce and has improved how we run our operations.

Cons

There are a few bugs here and there, however these are easily worked on by the Ubeya team.

good, i always receive quick responses, if help is needed on the chat function- i have used this on a busy live day due to geo fence issues.

Pros

As the site ubeya champion, it saves me more time each week populating the shifts and pulling the forecasting reports- this leads me to be able to go back to HODs quicker with their forecasted vs budget, and game days moving staff around.

Cons

Some of the process can be long when editing multiple shifts. My only issue for me is the check in and check out process out of LARGE game days especially with our chefs. It would be good to be able to amend per shift for the option of clock in and clock out only.

Overall the app has simplified my tasks and helped me to save valuable time for other jobs. It also helps me to share workload with other admins very easily as they can access the system simultaneously.

Pros

It allows me to simplify payroll and see what monies are coming in and what hours staff have worked. It allows me to follow real time if staff are late or have forgotten to clock out of work. I can also easily keep track of all employee info and look at their stats at the touch of a few buttons which saves me a lot of time.

Cons

I would prefer if the Ubeya Business app would have more functions so that I can work on the go. I would also like the Ubeya chat to be more real time on the app so I do not miss anything.

Pros

I've used Ubeya as a dance competition judge - applying to events, submitting availability, checking into events, logging hours and more. I love how user friendly it is and how easy the app is to navigate.

Cons

Ran into some issues with the app not properly recording time on site and proper check in and check out times.

Ubeya is really good—super easy to use! The interface is intuitive, making scheduling and workforce management seamless. It simplifies communication, shift assignments, and tracking, which saves a lot of time. A great tool for both managers and staff!

Cons

One thing that could be improved is when you're booking someone, and you go to their profile, the booking disappears. It can be a bit frustrating having to start over instead of seamlessly continuing the process.

Overall ubeya is excellent tool for seamless communication with clients, candidates and colleagues- It is invaluable when working as a small team to help with data storage management and compliance. Having experienced the app as an administrator and user I would definitely recommend.

Pros

It super user friendly, even without an instruction guide you can navigate the site with ease.

Cons

Small errors with the software when trying to save documents/ add expiry dates/generate reports, when managing a large number of candidates its difficult to consistently double check everything in case the errors have occurred.

Pros

The seamlessly easily process to add shifts and book employees make my job 10x easier and allow me to keep track of who is where and when along with being able to contact them directly from the app with the chat option.

Cons

Would be a great feature once you copy and paste a job or shift, to automatically populate employees that have worked there previously. Its straight forward enough searching their name and isn't a hassle but I think this could take that to the next level.

The ease of being able to make a booking.

Cons

That you are unable to add shifts to a booking if you booking multiple days, for example, if you book a block from Monday to Thursday, but don't book anything on the Wednesday, if you want to add a shift to Wednesday at a later date, you have to make a completely new booking for that one day.

Ubeya is a great platform and it has really helped our company streamline the recruitment and payroll process.

Pros

It is the perfect way to have all of the staff's schedules/ time sheets/ payroll in one area. It has increased the productivity of our payroll process immensely.

Cons

I do not like that you cannot extend the length of a multi day shift- in our business we advertise the events as multi day shifts way in advance and sometimes the length of the event can change. So it would be great if there was a way to be able to increase the length of an event and to just send some sort of notification to the staff already booked on to say 'approve the extension of the event' or something similar. Thanks!
