"LOXO the good/Bad"

**Overall:** Solid C+. Customer service is mainly AI driven, but figured out the work around, my customer service requests will go to a human if I add a screen shot, and state that in subject. Price increases and under delivers in CRM function and formatting resumes. Not worth the coin

**Pros:** The connection and searchability it has with Linkedin. ATS portion of LOXO is strong. Web site connection was convenient

**Cons:** Where LOXO Misses the Mark for My Team, sharing to help and hope LOXO fixes I have been in recruitment a long time and know what works in the real world. LOXO has some strengths, but there are fundamental issues that make it frustrating to use day to day. They need a senior recruiter who has actually used the system for a year or more to audit it properly. CRM Feels bolted on, not a core part of the platform Automated campaigns are limited and clunky Makes proper client management and BD harder than it should be Resume Formatting Word resumes get butchered and lose formatting PDFs are fine, but most resumes come in as Word Constant rebranding and reformatting required before sending to clients Interview notes and candidate summaries also lose formatting Output looks like sloppy cut and paste work Client Delivery Forced branded resume format looks like a LinkedIn profile with a watermark Does not look professional and reflects poorly with clients Formatting is unreliable My team often sends resumes and notes through Outlook instead of LOXO Printing and Document Handling No direct printing from LOXO Every resume must be downloaded to a PC first Small issue, but it adds up fast and clutters storage Job Posting and Integrations Weak results from job board postings, especially free boards Integrations feel clunky and half baked Integrations are expensive for the value provided Implementation Implementation lead was smart but not a recruiter Lacked understanding of real recruiting workflows Came across as smug during integration This shows in how the system is designed and rolled out Pricing Very expensive for what the platform delivers, w/ 5% increases every yr and high integration costs, transferring my old DB was a shit show and rushed to review it, but the errors showed up months after- too late at that point to get them to fix unless u want to pay. Automatic five percent price increases every year Overall value does not match the cost What Works ATS functionality is solid Sourcing tools are strong There is real potential if fundamentals are fixed Bottom Line The demo sold a better experience than what was delivered Core workflow, CRM, formatting, and client delivery need serious work With real recruiter input, LOXO would be ideal Right now, it is not there yet

**Alternatives Considered:** [Recruit CRM](https://www.capterra.com/p/174348/Recruit-CRM/)

**Reasons for Choosing Loxo:** Thought the AI and sourcing would be better, the look and USER exp appeared better in LOXO, but not convinced I was right

**Switched From:** [Crelate](https://www.capterra.com/p/133064/Crelate-Talent/)

**Reasons for Switching to Loxo:** Lacked sourcing tools and lacked CRM functions

Thanks for the thoughtful, detailed review. We’re glad searchability, sourcing, and the ATS have been strong for you. We’re disappointed the overall experience didn’t match what you expected, especially in the areas you noted. We take pride in creating a simple workflow, so if something led to extra manual work for you, we're curious to understand this better. Recruiting workflows vary a lot by team, and we’re continuously improving the platform to better support the real-world ways recruiters work. If you’re open to it, we’d love to connect and take a closer look at your setup and examples so we can help resolve what’s happening and share your feedback with the right teams. Thanks again for taking the time to share this.
