### "The magic key for startup recruiting"

I recommend this software to all my friends and colleagues.

Pros

I liked that the pricing is excellent, and that I can do outbound and inbound recruiting all in one platform. The Loxo Source database is excellent, very similar to LinkedIn boolean search. For inbound, it integrates with Indeed and LinkedIn company page with contacting those support teams. This gets the job out all over the internet so that you get the widest funnel. For outbound, I can do mass email campaigns and the unlimited plan is great. I can source personal emails without having to use a separate email finder like SalesQL and a separate email sequence software and a separate ATS and manually integrating them. Many other outbound recruiting softwares only allow you to add one (Gem) or 25 (Workable) prospects to a campaign at a time. But there is power in numbers, and Loxo currently allows you to add all results of a Boolean search, up to 5000 a day. Their email server Sent via Loxo is great to optimize deliverability, and they also help users optimize deliverability of their domain. They do allow self hosted instances in the enterprise plan for additional cybersecurity and integration with MS 365 instead of Google Workspace.

Cons

The software has some bugs, but it is continuously improving. I am glad that the team is receptive to my suggestions for features and bug reports. The software is a behemoth of features, so of course it is complex. It took me 1-2 weeks to go through setup and training before I became familiar with the software and its quirks enough to recruit for a position. They strongly encourage annual contracts, but small business customers and startups definitely prefer month to month flexibility. I was able to negotiate month to month at a higher price.

SignalHire is terrible and not polished. Greenhouse is too expensie and opaque. Loxo was better priced than Ashby. Gem and Workable did not allow mass sourcing with one click.

### "Great CRM and ATS"

Overall a good experience for our recruitment process. The support team is based in the US, so those in Europe get a delayed answer which sometimes can cause delays in the work.

Pros

Loxo Source is great tool to easily find candidates. The Loxo extension as well works perfectly and fairly fast. We moved to Loxo from a custom ATS which meant a very complex and tedious migration, however, even though it took longer then anticipated, the Loxo engineering team made it happen.

Cons

One thing that could be done better is the alignment between the sales and the support team. I think the sales team oversell the tool as all-powerful and all-potent, but then after the purchase we say that that is not the case. We were expecting reports to be able to do calculations, but later found out that they are based on logic. Now we need to redo most reports and then do the calculations elsewhere.

### "LOXO - NOT an end-to-end recruitment solution "

funneled my dismay and issues up SEVERAL times, get teh same pat on teh head that we will work with you to "fix" these issues. All the "fixes" are yet another "work-around" which makes more work for me. As I said, sold an end to end recruitment tool and got a dogs-breakfast from a company that will keep a dissatisfied customer for the money as my money is obviously way more important than my customer satisfaction. Maybe in 5 years this will work, but for now it is charging a LOT of money for an ugly to work with product. Excel spreadsheets would work better.

Pros

What i was sold and what is are two vastly different things. I was sold and end to end recruitment tool that would most importantly save me time. It does not. It costs me time. At best Loxo is a sourcing tool, that has yet to net a single candidate for my vertical.

Cons

It is NOT an end to end recruitment service - you can send resumes to your clients if you want them to look like a dogs breakfast. Everything is "clunky" for lack of a better term and because you have to constantly go out of the program to actually work, there is no continuity. I am bitterly disappointed and they are forcing me to stay through the contract so I will be developing my company on another ATS while I wait out my term.

### "Great All-in-One Solution for ANY Talent Team!"

We had been using a legacy ATS which we had heavily customized for our High Volume RPO business over 10 years. That system was purchased and sunsetted, so we needed a new solution. Through an exhaustive search we found Loxo and were impressed by the potential of the system (it was still very new two years ago). When meeting with \[sensitive content hidden\] we saw his passion for developing a better system and were willing to work with him and his team to make it better. They have met and exceeded our expectations. His support and development teams are responsive, helpful and quick to solve problems while they are constantly improving the system.

Pros

Loxo is a leader in what ATS and CRM systems should be. They are constantly making improvements and adding customizable elements that make the system better every day! Their support team is always responsive and solves any issues quickly. The system is also very intuitive and user-friendly with integrated phone, text, drip marketing and sourcing ALL IN ONE!

Cons

We've been working with Loxo for 2 years now. We knew then that it wasn't everything we wanted because it was so new, but the potential for greatness was there! They have come a long way and are using our input to make updates that really matter!

### "Best ATS & CRM we have used"

It's a great product, and I like the design and layout - which is very important to me when using it daily as often as I do. We search for very specialized skillsets and their AI tools have not been as good as we'd hoped, but that improves over time and it's done better on some skills than others.

Pros

Ease of use, and ease of customizing to our needs. Instantly saves all email communication with our candidates and clients, without us having to do anything as long as its set up to sync them. Customer support is always very helpful and usually responds in a timely manner. You can do a lot more with this software if you use it fully, as it will show you your metrics in all areas important to you, thereby helping you improve your business processes.

Cons

The issues are not really specific to Loxo I feel, as I've seen the same issues with other ATSs too: too many duplicates sometimes, of candidates entered, and measuring new business development in their Deals section needs to be improved.

Because it was more of a seamless transition for us based on it being more current with technology than other ATSs (it was web 3.0 based, more current than others available at the time, and more AI features/muscle). Learning how to use it was simple and intuitive, and the price and design/layout all played an important role that ultimately made us buy it.

jobvite was too cumbersome to work with, just one big mess, and our onboarding was quite terrible. Support was always problematic. It was an expensive way to just store our candidates and jobs, as the problems got too much in the way of being productive with it. As an employment agency it was not suited to our industry, and Loxo by comparison, really was.

### "Worst Platform, the Sales Rep Lie on top of the Customer Service Mgr not caring at all"

Very upsetting. We asked for training multiple times...we left a software company that provided stellar customer service and 1:1 devoted training only because Loxo promised we would be able to source candidates and save money but not having to have any other paid recruitment platforms. That is a LIE. Then when we asked for our date, ALL THE SUDDEN the Customer Service Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], who is the worst, decides now she has the time to reach out to us. Instead of listening to our concerns that we had and trying to save us, she repeated herself and not hearing ANYTHING THAT WE SAID! Or the facts that we have when we were promised one thing and met with the opposite. Not to mention the amount of times we asked for help and were not provided any.

Pros

We do not like anything about LOXO and it is simply due to the lack of customer service and the amount of times we asked for help and did not get the guidance needed.

Cons

There is no 1:1 training, they put you in a class with a guy that talks super fast and you do not get to stop and ask questions until the end of the hour which by then, you are beyond confused. When we asked for more training, they put us back in the same class, with the same gentleman and never listed to what we actually needed. UNTIL WE WANTED TO CANCEL!

The Salesman let us know we would be able to source candidates within Loxo and be able to get rid of Indeed & LinkedIn & other recruitment platforms that would save us money. It was a complete LIE! WE did not even recruit one single candidate and when we asked \[sensitive content hidden\], she just gave us the run around. Worst Customer Manager I have ever spoken too...in fact, when we explained out frustrations and tried working things out, it was like she did not hear a word we said and would repeat herself and state events that did not happen.

The Loxo team is also incredible. You know it when you meet smart, professional people that are really good at what they do. Loxo is full of people like that. Everyone we've worked with from sales, to implementation, and in service of our account has taken great care of us. They are super responsive, have a can do attitude, and get the results. We're not tech savvy at all and the Loxo team has really done a great job of making this easy on us and getting our recruiters fully implemented, functional, and happy.

Pros

Loxo is very intuitive, full of time saving features and automations, easy to integrate with the web and other programs--and it gives our recruiters an extremely simple, and powerful tool they can use to be productive anywhere they can get on the internet. But Loxo AI, Source & Connect are the "muscles" that really make it go the distance for our team. We've used two other ATS systems that we liked, but Loxo is the best by far!

Cons

We just completed our 1 year roadmap review with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and we're really happy with everything. I don't have anything to report here.

Customer Support was amazing from the trial through implementation. They respond quickly and follow up to ensure that the problem/issue was fixed. Implementing was a breeze compared to some other programs.

Pros

The AI Source and Outreach programs are excellent

Cons

At first, I was put off by the cost, but after reading other reviews and talking with some people in my network that use it, I went for it. It absolutely has paid for itself ten-fold with the amount of time it saves me in data entry and the AI Sourcing.

A+ from Customer Service to the functionality of the software. It does everything as described and then some! The migration of data went much smoother than I anticipated. I was nervous we would lose notes, activities, contact information, resumes etc. Everything has gone perfect and the learning curve with our 35+ associates was much smaller than I expected and planned for.

Pros

Managing the pipeline and stages is easy to use and organized. It is at least 3x faster than our previous CRM / ATS. Searching for candidates within your database has never been easier.

Cons

Nothing much at this time. It would be nice is 3rd party phone / VOIP services could be integrated so our calls / texts are logged automatically. However, it sounds like Loxo will be upgrading their internal phone system in the near future.

Loxo came highly recommended to me in 2020. I had been looking for a sophisticated, yet user-friendly CRM ATS system to replace my old system which was frustrating and full of time-wasting redundancies. After receiving the Loxo demo, I said to myself, “If this software does half of what I’m seeing, my life is about to get a whole lot easier.” I signed up immediately and must say that the experience has surpassed my expectations. Loxo’s AI technology and organic flow of searching and communicating with candidates continues to impress me. But it’s the customer service that has absolutely blown me away. It’s the best I’ve ever experienced. From Day 1 to today, I have been 100% satisfied with my decision. Keep being you, Loxo, you guys are awesome!

Really good. Transparent from the off. UK sales person was great with a non pushy approach. Onboard has been simple, quick and effective.

Pros

Simple and easy to use with a modern workflow. Excellent Chrome Extension that works well with LinkedIn. AI tools to help source contact info is a game changer. Great email marketing outreach solution built in that allows you to build campaigns as opposed to just sent email marketing.

Cons

Some of the AI features shown at demo were only available in the more expensive subscriptions

Really good in the main. Some of the communication back in the initial set up was a little slow and we had to chase which was a bit frustrating but it did improve dramatically when \[sensitive content hidden\] did our training, she was brilliant, can praise her enough.

Its a bit candidate heavy but we know this is being addressed

Every one of my people is in Loxo hour by hour, minute by minute. We use it to track our core business, which is recruiting. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] called me a few years ago and we made the switch. We're thrilled that we did.

Pros

We chose Loxo because it looks and works great. We try to attract innovators and previous products felt like they were designed in the 90s. Loxo is contemporary, thoughtful, and highly useable. We also think the world of their support staff. They always go above and beyond every day!

Cons

The CRM (meaning biz dev tracking) functions are not very robust. I know they weren't designed first as a CRM and they've nailed the ATS piece, but would love for a more usable CRM.

Reason for choosing Loxo

Loxo was the best and easiest product that we tested. We looked at every option that can be used by a 3rd party recruiting firm like ours. I don't want to say who we switched from or who else we considered because I don't want to trash anyone. Also, I haven't looked at other options since we made the move, so those other products could be very different. BUT, know that we looked at everything with a very critical eye and Loxo outshone them all.

Pros

Our firm transitioned to LOXO almost a year ago and have been very pleased with their customer service. Their product is extremely user-friendly and they are constantly improving its functionality. The onboarding process was a snap and the continuous training is truly helpful. We highly recommend LOXO in every recruiting firm’s toolbox.

Cons

To date, we haven't found anything we don't like about this product.

Responsive, smart, easy.

Pros

Loxo is constantly adapting to user needs and industry needs. The changes made are timely, seamlessly and smart. Loxo is a modern recruiting tool that I am happy to use daily!

Cons

Some extra steps are needed in simple transactions...like replying to a text. I'd rather be able to do that via email than going back into the candidate profile. I'd also like to be able to one-click reject a candidate from the pool of candidates.

Pros

The Loxo chrome extension makes it simple to import profiles into the database. The software is user-friendly and here are a lot of helpful features, such as making outreach campaigns and reports. Instead of an installed program on the desktop, I like how the software is in a browser so that our team can always have access to it when on-the-go. They also have an extensive help guide and easy access to the support team if you need assistance.

Cons

Loxo continues to make updates, which I understand is well-intentioned. However, there have been multiple occasions when these updates have ended up setting our team back in productivity due to Loxo changing or removing certain features we have relied on. When reaching out to support, we are often told that they cannot revert these features back to the way things were, which ends up making the UX less enjoyable.

By far the best system on the market. If you want to maximize your team's efficiency and get a recruiting solution that actually solves your problems, then Loxo is the platform for you.

Pros

Loxo is by far the best solution for recruiting on the market. The team their truly understand the needs of high-functioning recruiting teams. The candidate database is unlike anything else I've used on the market. It's searchable on several different levels making my team more effective, and you can easily add candidates into marketing lists, one-off email sends, and click-to-dial campaigns. Yes, you can call directly from within Loxo with no extra tools needed. With loxo, you also get a unique job view that makes it very easy to manage all search projects.

Cons

So far I have no complaints. I've used Bullhorn, FileFinder, Invenias, Crelate and Zoho and none of them even compare to how great Loxo has been for our firm.

I am really happy that this is the software that I chose to manage my pipeline. It has made it so easy to report on my activity and follow up with candidates. I highly recommend using this software!

Pros

I have used many ATS and CRM systems throughout my career and this is the best of both all in one system. It is amazing at tracking candidates through the recruiting life cycle specifically the sourcing pipeline. The customization of the work flow is a great as well as the customized marketing campaigns inclusive of emails, texts and reminders. I have been quite pleased with my experience with Loxo so far. Lastly the customer support team is incredibly helpful and quick to respond. I definitely recommend Loxo!

Cons

My only criticism is that the AI in job descriptions only searches your individual system and not the broader system. They have put in a request for an enhancement to do this for me already.

Reason for choosing Loxo

Most of the other products were for larger companies and could not do what I wanted at a granular level. Since I work across different verticals and source from different places, this system was the best choice.

### "They don’t let you cancel your subscription "

The customer service is not good, they do not help when it comes to wanting to cancel the subscription. I am still waiting for a response after 10 follow ups I'm tired of waiting and taking other courses of action. Understand the product before your sign up to a service because you may run into a company that doesn't allow you to unsubscribe

Nothing at all, I still haven’t been able to cancel

Everything especially customer service and under average solutions.

Pros

I like the ease of use when using Loxo. It has been customized in a way that allows my firm to access the top individuals in my network quickly and with pin point accuracy.

Cons

Would prefer to have more features with setting up interviews and scheduling appts.

Loxo helps keep us organized and allows us to collaborate with our clients to provide exceptional service. It has allowed us to work on more job orders, keeping us organized and making sure we are on top of communicating with our client and candidates.

Pros

Loxo is the best platform that offers a combination of applicant tracking & outreach/CRM

Cons

Reporting is not set up to be super usable. we have to export the data and create our own reports to use it effectively. There are also a number of metrics that aren't tracked that would be super useful

Overall I am very pleased with Loxo and their staff - they offer an excellent platform and customer service. That is HUGE for me.

Pros

I loved my dedicated customer support person, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]- she walked me through the whole system to make sure I understood everything. Loxo incorporates Digital Marketing tactics with recruiting to make the process flow that of ease and eliminates a lot of the time consuming task in the push of a few button.

Cons

I don't have any cons for the software. Anything I couldn't figure out, customer service was there to help me.
