I am a night owl so being able to earn ce credits at my convenience is wonderful. I am much more motivated to do things on my own. Cons fonts need to be bigger. It was very helpful in reinforcing the information. Going through 40+ pages of info then questions afterwards can be a little intimidating without review questions. The set up of the website is very straightforward and easy to use! The price is fair compared to other CEU resources, such as the ASCP website. I will definitely be using LabCE the next time I have to recertify. Cons I do not have any real deal breaking cons, but I wish the subscription could last longer than a year. There's a lot of variety (subject) to choose from. The exam is challenging enough. I enjoy doing CE and expanding my knowledge about new topics. September 26, 2017 5.0 It helped me to pass the Microbiology ASCP exam and do continuing education. Pros The software has a good layout. Everything is pretty easy to get to. I do like that all the CE credits are easy to transcribe for ASCP. Cons There were some parts that seemed buggy. I tried to select a module and it didn't come up. I don't think its right for my company but when my certification needs renewed I will join as a private user. Pros I like the variety of courses available. The competencies and documentation handling is a really neat feature. I wish it were more practical for a 20 clinic system. Cons Most of the courses do not apply to POC. I am the only lab tech withing my company so I was looking for something that would help my nurses and MAs learn more about the lab and help them with skills such as phlebotomy and waived testing. I work full time, am a wife, mother and grandmother and also participate in church/community activities, quilt and am learning to play the accordion. Therefore, I don't always have blocks of time when I can do CE. I like to print the PDF and take it with me so I can use spare moments (waiting for something, work breaks, etc.) to review a topic. Most of my users were able to access and figure out how to use the CE module by following the auto emails sent through the system. Cons While we purchased Document Control module, I haven't yet used it. I loaded one manual of procedures in but haven't had time to train my approvers.
