Pros: Straight forward and intuitive user interface that requires little to no training. Customer response to approvals saves valuable shop time by approving work when the car is on the rack, not requiring the tech to park the car while the customer plays phone tag with the advisor.
Texting provides a better customer experience to a request for approval in that the customer doesn't feel put on the spot by the advisor and pressured to make a hasty decision without having time to research the recomendations and check their bank account.

Cons: I don't see any cons, but there is a large potential for its evolution that I hope keeps pace. I see an opportunity for interface with the technician between the advisor and customer. There is a company called Quick Video that has a video where the tech performs his inspection and uploads it to the customer. This or something similar will drive trust and transparency with the customer.

AdvantageTec has dramatically improved our customer communication and overall CSI.

Pros: "Dramatically improved customer communication"

1: Improved Service CSI scores by over 8% in just a few months.
2: Improved Upsell acceptance rate leading to increased hours per R.O.
3: Faster total repair turnaround times leading to a >12% gain in workshop efficiency.
4: Very easy to implement, with great training and support,
5: Compliant with all communication laws.
6: Reduced inbound call volume by >40% allowing for reduction in phone personnel.

Cons: No negatives. Very flexible and easy to work with. Economical pricing and reasonable contract terms also allow for an easy decision to try the system.
