Pros The fact that you could legitimately personalize and customize the appearance of your virtual offices was huge for us. It made it fun, and being able to SEE your teammates in their offices helped our small, completely distributed team not feel so alone. Cons The team that worked on it before the recent acquisition was trying to make it be a jack of all trades, to actually replace platforms like Zoom. That just wasn't effective in our opinion, and it would have served the platform better if the focus was 100% on making it the best virtual gathering space possible. Alternatives considered [Sococo](https://www.capterra.com/p/175754/Sococo/) Reasons for choosing Walkabout Workplace Walkabout Workplace allowed TRUE customization of the layout, rooms, and visuals. We had a NAP room in ours. We used it, too! We even had a balcony where we'd go to chill and look at the beach. Sounds cheesy, but it made a big difference in getting joy out of using the platform.
