I very much love this software and will recommend it. Pros This software makes it easy to take the physical items I have and integrate them with my digital store. The integrations make updating my inventory easy and I can easily see what stock I have on hand, as well as upload this to my WooCommerce WordPress store. Cons I am on satellite internet and sometimes it can't reach the cloud server, but I also suspect that isn't the software's fault. It's easy to use and intuitive. Paired with a beautiful wordpress theme, it works well and looks good. In addition, you don't necessarily need to pay monthly for it, which is nice. :) Pros Easy to setup, great payment options, and an overall hopeful customer support experience helped my business decide whether or not it was the service for us. Cons We ended up not using WooCommerce because it didn't solve ALL of our problems. As a small startup, we wanted to cut costs as much as we could. Pros It is a very good option, easy to configure and use, ideal to start an e-Commerce business, has many built-in features and presents good integration options to process payments. Cons Constant updates are not always good and cause malfunctions, and I think it is good for small businesses but for large companies I would not recommend it. When my buddy expanded an online business and opened up his shop, the first step we took was moving his site to WordPress. I have years of experience with WooCommerce, so we gave WooPOS a shot too and it's made his life so much easier. The headache he anticipated from managing inventory between both, is nonexistent. Cons There's nothing to complain about here. From inventory management to order entry and fulfillment, WooPOS makes every process seamless, for customers and business owners alike. Seems solid and functional and farily easy to set up and use. Importing files into the system to help set-up is working well so far so really please for the moment. Tech support attempted to work through all of my specific requirements. Cons Unfortunately, in the end the program was not conducive to my business (retail book store). It was only able to do certain things but not everything I needed. Example, the POS and inventory management was OK but the program could not sync with the eCommerce program I was using. Cons The interface and complicated setup. The system is hard to set up as it doesn't link easily with the SQL database. It was impossible to use on a weaker machine that isn't dedicated to the software. Reason for choosing WooPOS I only tried setting it up to test it. I agree the setup will take time, but it should be easy to use once setup is completed. You need a computer meets minimum specifications: https://support.woopos.com/knowledge-base/recommended-computer-specifications-for-running-woopos/ You probably won't get a good experience to test on a weak computer over 5 years old. Its basic version is free, and for many businesses it can be used as is, and as the business grows more features can be added for a cost. Cons It's not great for digital products, which is mostly what I sell. There's a long checkout process that is unnecessary for digital products, and I lose customers that way.
