Pros Poptin has been incredibly easy to use from day one. The setup process was straightforward and quick, and we were able to install it on our website without any issues. Pros I've been using tham for more than 5 years now for gettingt emails on travel websites. They packed many features in a single comfortable system, from which you can control many websites. And customer service is also always quick using their chat. Cons On the begining there were some disaply bugs but it was always addresssed quickly and then solved during the time. Pros They provide core pop-up functions for a fraction of the cost of other apps on Big Commerce. And they are adding more templates. Plus their support is very responsive. Cons They are new, so they don't have a huge catalog of templates, but you can always ask support for out of the box thinking. Pros Inexpensive, fairly easy to use some decent control over design elements. Cons Had several issues with mobile editing messing up desktop popup format. When switching back and forth it would make everything change and overlap. I had to make 2 separate popups one for desktop one for mobile because of it. Would like more control over design elements. It only took me 10 minutes to get my first pop-up created and live on our website. The templates are easy to customise and I liked that I could upload our brands fonts. The dashboard is clear and give instant conversion stats, which we sanity checked against our other reporting tools and they are 100% accurate. I had an issue which required assistance and found the customer service to be perfect. They went above and beyond and even had their development team do a quick bit of work on my coding. Pros I liked how easy it was to set up my account, create a pop-up and get it into production on our website. The whole process was seamless. Cons If I'm being honest, there are a couple of bugs on the design studio, such as fonts reverting back to the default Poppins when you do things like make edits to the text, but it's not a big deal. It could do with a couple of other design tools, like easily selecting to align all objects and/or centre everything. It would also be nice to be able to see things like the spacing between objects so you can distribute evenly. It's a great product, far better than others and the support is A+! I'm 99.9% sure you'll love Poptin. Pros Their triggering attributes are the absolute most complete of any (of the many) tools I tested before deciding to sign up to Poptin. The ability to trigger based on a users interaction with another popup, or by their cookies or by custom JavaScript is tremendous! Cons The UI could use a polish, but by no means is this a deal breaker. I'd much rather have a medium UI and tons of control over the triggering conditions than an amazing UI with very limited functionality. I consider myself a computer novice, and I was worried about getting stuck. Every single time I had a question, their helpdesk responded in what felt like seconds. Their explanations were so patient and clear that I never felt lost. Thank you! Pros What impressed me most was how Poptin enabled us to implement a pop-up that is fully compliant with German regulations. The fact that this could be done on our Strato/ePages webshop, was the key deciding factor for us. Cons I have no significant complaints. My experience was smooth. It doesn't get any better than that. Pros Easy-to-edit interface let me be precise in how I wanted to arrange elements. Cons Mobile and desktop needed to be edit separately. Of course, I may have needed to wait until desktop was finished before turning on the mobile version. The platform is easy to use, even for beginners, and I was able to create and publish my first popup for FiegenPay without any issues. I also really appreciate the fact that it integrates directly into Google Tag Manager. Pros It’s easy to set up and very user-friendly, even for someone with limited experience. I like that I can customize the popup quickly and integrate it without any technical issues. Also, the visual editor makes it very intuitive. Cons So far, I haven’t found anything that I dislike.
