Cons Pricing is somewhat expensive but the platform does provide a good value for the money. I also had an issue of adding another domain but the support solved this quickly. It only took me 10 minutes to get my first pop-up created and live on our website. The templates are easy to customise and I liked that I could upload our brands fonts. The dashboard is clear and give instant conversion stats, which we sanity checked against our other reporting tools and they are 100% accurate. I had an issue which required assistance and found the customer service to be perfect. They went above and beyond and even had their development team do a quick bit of work on my coding. Pros I liked how easy it was to set up my account, create a pop-up and get it into production on our website. The whole process was seamless. Cons If I'm being honest, there are a couple of bugs on the design studio, such as fonts reverting back to the default Poppins when you do things like make edits to the text, but it's not a big deal. It could do with a couple of other design tools, like easily selecting to align all objects and/or centre everything. It would also be nice to be able to see things like the spacing between objects so you can distribute evenly. Their explanations were so patient and clear that I never felt lost. Thank you! It's a great product, far better than others and the support is A+! I'm 99.9% sure you'll love Poptin. Pros Their triggering attributes are the absolute most complete of any (of the many) tools I tested before deciding to sign up to Poptin. The ability to trigger based on a users interaction with another popup, or by their cookies or by custom JavaScript is tremendous! Cons The UI could use a polish, but by no means is this a deal breaker. I'd much rather have a medium UI and tons of control over the triggering conditions than an amazing UI with very limited functionality. It doesn't get any better than that. Pros Easy-to-edit interface let me be precise in how I wanted to arrange elements. Cons Mobile and desktop needed to be edit separately. Of course, I may have needed to wait until desktop was finished before turning on the mobile version. We're a nonprofit, so cost is important, and Poptin gives us great value for the price. Also a plus for us is that, once you have the basic code in place on your website, a nontechnical staff member can create and activate a new popup without ever touching the code. A few days ago I needed to contact support for the first time; they responded promptly, found the source of the problem (it took some digging!), and fixed it. Impressive! Pros There are lots of good templates to use as a starting point, and there's an amazing array of design features to choose from. We can create popups that really reflect our brand and control very precisely how and where they appear. There are also very good analytics built in. Cons There's a bit of a learning curve if you want to create a totally custom design. This time I had some issues at the beginning with a platform bug, which caused some delay in the popup launch, but nothing big and the support team was super helpful. After that, the Exit Intent popup has been great for us in converting visitors into subscribers. July 23, 2017 4.0 More traffic to my website. Pros Poptin helps you in generating more leads for your website, and helps in list building for the future. The product comes with a very good microcopy and it looks like much thought was put into it to make sure it captures the essence of the team and the overall online lead generation. Unlike Sumome that has that pesky crown if you don't pay them, Poptin only has "powered by Poptin" in very pale blackish hue; you are hardly bothered by it. The poptins themselves are either in interstitial or small banner style and I heard there were talks about mobile swipers. In general, a very good experience that has generated about 35%-42% more traffic to my website on a 3 month period. Cons It doesn't have the same analytics as other softwares such as Sumome or Icegram, and cannot yet help in discovering new traffic sources but it's not a deal breaker. The main trouble is that if your traffic is low (less than 500 unique views a month), it won't really help you when it comes to lead generation - something Sumome did excel back in the day.
