Pros

It encompasses all aspects of time & billing, project management, document management, contact management and portal/e-signature.

Cons

Although this product is great for its many features, ease of use and updates/needed things in certain areas of the program would be very helpful.

Time capture and billing.

Pros

Capturing time and the billing process. Software works every well with staff input and partner review. Billing process is fairly simple at a basic level.

Cons

Training was inadequate. Videos don't address many issues. Updates are not advsied until problems occur.

the reporting capabilities are great! I use these on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. It has helped me understand my practice so much deeper than before

Cons

No QBO automation with regard to the invoicing. Once we converted to QBO, I'm now having to record every invoice twice.

Since I started using Office Tools My workflow is more efficient and I everything in organized!

Pros

The projects and the time tracking. I have a schedule of what I need to do and I can easily time my work.

Cons

I can't delete the my contacts easily and I can't have one contact for business and individual.

The various way you CAN use it to do certain tasks. I like how there are many things you can do with Office Tools as they are really helpful sounding.

How complex it is to use said features. I always have to call and ask for help, nothing is innate in the program,

Learned what to look for in purchasing this type of software. I need web based software where the vendor does not charge me for training on how to use his software. One that is more simple and flexible for small business.

Pros

Appears to be very detailed and has all the information. Does capture all information. But it can be overwhelming.

Cons

Tied to one computer. Not web based. Training cost was very high. I found a competitor that did not charge for training on how to use their product. Too much information and detail for a small firm.

Pros

This is a business management and professional services solution for accounting firms and other practices. It can help with client management, project management, time tracking, billing and invoicing, scheduling and reporting. It helps seeing what tasks I have on and what the status is of them. The calendar is very useful as all users can keep track.

Cons

You will need training for the system and there is a cost for this. I struggle to get in touch with the support team and so it make's using the system difficult at times.

I think when we are using it more fully, we will realize a lot of time saved in our daily tasks, as well as streamlining of our processes.

Pros

Lots of options! Options in every category. I like that this can be the "hub" of our team. I'm still learning about the program and the various ways we can streamline a lot of our processes with this software.

Cons

Not so much the software, but the training limitations. Having to purchase the software, purchase for extra users, and purchase training time on top of that. I'm new to this software, so I'm in the online User Guides frequently, but they fall short. I am at a small firm, so I have to budget my time to seek training with Office Tools to make sure I don't over-spend.

Pros

the billing and tracking features are very useful. logging phone calls is a very useful feature. support team is very nice. support legitimately wanted to help and resolve issues.

implementing the software, working out bugs, still are bugs in the program which slow down use and entering info

Pros

It helps a lot with client management, time tracking, scheduling and reporting, and billing and invoicing. I like that it shows me my tasks and the status of them. The calendar is also linked with all the users to make scheduling very effective.

Cons

The system is not user friendly and requires quite a bit of training. However, training costs even more money. The customer support is almost impossible to get in touch with making the system very difficult to use.

I do not like the recurring billing function. Or at least I have not been successful in getting it to work properly. It would be great if it did so I wouldnt have to do my billing through Qbooks

once you tune the features it works great

Cons

Documentation and setup training could use some work. Support is too hard to get to a live person. you are never sure if they work on the accounting software or legal software. it does matter.

Able to do detailed billing.

Pros

Not my choice I was forced to use it by a parent company executive from a larger office than ours. Our office has only 3 chargeable people in it.

Cons

Difficult to make changes/corrections and there are other softwares that are better suited to our small office purposes!

So far none. Working through the set up but it has been so incredibly difficult and we have had no support in the actual set up methodology that we have had a tremendous amount of trial and error.

Cons

Cumbersome, lack of customization of screens, incredibly difficult to get a straight answer on set up out of anyone in the office.

time tracking and billing

Pros

Time tracking! The time tracking component and billing feature is easy to use, once you get used to it and a real time-saver for our firm. I like the ability to keep track of client contact info. and notes all in one location.

Cons

The portal - it isn't as flexible as I would like esp. compared to our past portal (Sharefile). I would like to have multiple client emails set up to access the portal and more space. The Esignature feature could be expanded to include more signers as well as add more information from the signer, such as title boxes, email or contact information.
