Pros Works fantastic for small companies. The software intergrates well, which I love. It's pretty simple to use. Duplicate entries was a big stressed for me but this program will not allow for duplicates. Cons What I do not like if the fact that is does not accommodate for larger business. Only downfall for me. We can do everything we need to through Office Tools. Pros I love the billing on this program. I have just taken over billing for our company and it has been user friendly and easy to learn. Cons We are still learning how to use the program. Integration with Quickbooks hasn't been as good as we hoped for. Pros I loved that it was a one stop shop for everything that an accounting firm needs. There was no need to login to several products, everything was in one central location and client files and documents were easy to access and distribute. Cons I did not like the cost associated with it for firms that were not apart of the Abacus Cloud. We would like to use the software but we are with a different cloud provider which makes the cost for OfficeTools about 3 times more than what we are paying for our current software. Seems like it has nice project tracking features. Cons Not user friendly. Can't search by specific fields such as phone number. Entering family members is cumbersome. Not very visually appealing. I feel it meets our daily needs well. Pros I like that it is fairly easy to understand. I had to start using Office Tools with no prior experience, and I was able to be comfortable using it very quickly. It really brings efficiency and functionality to our office. Cons It really does take a lot of time to master the system. (Don't start during tax season!) It has made billing the clients easy. You can easily track the time spent on a client project and bill accordingly. Cons There are some features and functionalities that could be improved.
