Pros

It is nice that you can seen your schedule for the day

Cons

Patient needs to set up an account, which complicates things. The connection is often very poor compare to other platform like Doximity or pMd. Also, there is always some kind of background noise, very annoying and it makes it difficult to hear the patients. I wish it was also simpler to switch to back camera.

Noemie, we're grateful for your feedback. The patient does not need to set up an account. Your organization, during implementation, would have elected that option as a special request. The overwhelming majority of customers on Mend do not require the patient to establish an account first. I will have someone review and follow up on the connection issues. That is rare and usually is fixed with a very simple adjustment like checking VPN, anti-virus, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Switching to the back camera is easy on a smartphone, just click the reverse camera button. You can also select the camera directly using the settings cog button. If you need to change your default camera, we can help you do that within Windows/Mac + your browser can control default equipment as well.

Mend has been an easy and simple software to use to provide telehealth specifically teletherapy. It both simple for the clinician and the client and has good connection and other cool features.

Cons

I did not like the scheduler, it can be hard to drag appointments to the right time interval or date.

Thanks for the feedback!! Great news, AdvancedMD has allowed us to utilize their APIs. This means that the data will flow effortlessly between the two systems. Most of the time, integration hurdles are a result of limitations on the side of the EHR or PM and what they have available or if they have anything available.

I appreciate the usability. I will be using this software for the foreseeable future. Definitely a long road to go. But, I can see where the improvements and user feedback is considered

Cons

The web app/app difficulties whenever a user switches between the two.

Pros

Easiest implementation ever, very professional team that took the time to be responsive to our culture and needs.

Cons

Pro/Con: They are continually adding new features and functionalities, we have "hidden" some so that our staff can take a breather between changes. When they do add stuff the training/communication material is great.

My experience was not good with mend. It was not user friendly, always had problems using it during trial runs, and it was slow. It also didn't have everything that our hospital needed it to have for admission purposes and still had to resort to using paper assessments.

Pros

I didn't like anything about the software. It was very hard to use and didn't have the ins and outs of what we need for our hospital admissions.

Cons

I disliked everything about the software

This was a one-off custom project that is not Web based. It is not representative of the product, hence the wrong product is being reviewed here. The customer also prevented us from going live so it was never used in a production setting for an accurate review or assessment to be made.

Men offers a fast and helpful customer service which has been very helpful to me at times

Cons

Some features are not intuitive, such as the calendar vs. list view. Also, editing patient's information does not always work and I have needed customer service support for that.

I was really impressed in the software managing appointments, emailing reminders about upcoming meetings, and consolidating all the necessary information for a treatment plan into a dashboard and patient portal menu.

Cons

At times the audio and video can be glitchy, but that is an issue that has to do with combined issues from internet quality and the streaming demands for bandwidth.

Overall, my experience with Mend has been very good and I am thankful for how it has made work more efficient and convenient for me and my clients.

Pros

I really enjoy that the software allows me to stay connected with my clients and their parents to have a session or get forms signed.

Cons

I would like for Mend to allow me, as a provider, to be alerted when my clients have turned a form in. I would also like to have a space to see all of my patients profiles at once to view instead of sifting through other provider's clients.

I like that you are able to attach each payment to the appointment and add notes

That if you don't attached the payment to the appointment you have to do a lot of research to find out who the payment belongs to.

How easy it is to use. I like the fact that you can test your device prior to your appointment and that makes me feel better. I know that my appointment will be successful!

My access to my provider is sometimes sketchy. We've had times that there was interruptions during our session. Normally, however we were able to resolve it.

Pros

Mend is very easy for client's to use, very user friendly. EXCELLENT customer service/tech support, someone is always available.

Cons

There are almost always technical issues, whether it is a lag, echo, or audio issue (this is across the board, not only when client or therapist have a poor connection). The whiteboard feature can only be used if client is on a computer. Whiteboard feature lags. There is no screen-sharing feature. A screen-sharing WITH ability to draw and write/draw to screen feature was promised and never provided. There is no option to temporarily turn off video sharing (yet there is a mute button). Features are limited. Video and audio quality is almost always an issue. The request to receive text message notifications when client enters session no longer works.
