Pros It was really great for myself in the beginning of my journey - as my business grew, I needed to expand into other platforms that provided more options, but for the first couple of years this was the best platform for me. Great choice for start-ups, freelancers, or small business' Cons This may have changed since I last used it, but the main reason I switched was so that I could use a platform that also has contract options. If Invoice Simple offered more advanced features such as contracts & other file types, I'd have stayed. I have tried looking at other invoicing system but none have capture my attention or can beat the simplicity that Invoice Simple delivers. Pros In the name itself, SIMPLE. I'm a simple kinda guy and also a one man team. I look for something that's simple and easy for me to use. So having the app on my phone is a lifesaver. I have been using it since day 1 of my business. Cons I wish there is a way to connect the calendar to it or mapping (logistics to help me strategically map my routes). The web version is a little cumbersome but I don't use it often so it doesn't affect me much. I've had great experience with it when it's for smaller companies that doesn't require more heavy lifting. Pros The minimalistic look and simplicity. It saves your work automatically. The free version is more than capable for those who only use them once or 2x a month. Cons It is limited even with the premium version. I run a couple of small service companies. For the larger company which does about 1000 transactions in a year it becomes cumbersome to use with the in house workflow system. Links in invoices are broken and only lead to the latest unpaid invoice, so customers and their bookkeepers aren't able to download copies for their records. Total waste of time. Pros Doesn't even deserve 1 star. You get what you pay for & it'll cost you more in the long run. Cons If an invoice has been paid, a customer can no longer download a copy of that invoice/bill for their records. Not complaint with Australian document keeping requirements. Would not recommend.
