" July 28, 2017 5.0 An easy to use social media scheduler. You can set up quickly and easily and start using it. Its perfect for the non-tech savvy and the busy business owner. Its also super affordable! Pros I've road tested and researched many different social media schedulers and this one by far is my favorite. I recommend it to all of my super busy clients! Its easy to set up your accounts and its free for your first 4 social platforms and then the bottom tier for additional social media platforms is chargeable. It connects to all the major social media platforms including Pinterest boards. You can watermark your posts and its easy to schedule your posts. If you're uploading dozens or hundreds of posts you can easily do that with an excel spreadsheet. I don't use this functionality, but it is available. You can track analytics of your posts as well. They're customer service isn't instant, but its good. It usually takes anywhere from 3-6-12 hours to get a response, which is still very good in the tech world. Also when you get a response they are good explanations so you can get your questions answered. Ease of use, analytics, good customer service and the addition of new functionality as well as training via blogs and emails are the reasons I give this 4 stars compared to other costlier more complex programs out there. Cons I own two companies and I do all of our social media and I do have one person that assists with it. For me, I don't mind that both of my company's social media platforms all appear together at the top of the page. However, if you're a social media pro with multiple clients you may wish that each client's social platforms appeared in their own pages or in a slightly more organized manner. I want to clarify - that this may be available and I just don't know about it, so don't base your decision on this con alone. The only other con I can possibly think of is that I wish the online chat were truly more responsive in a more timely manner. I usually reserve 5 star reviews for software companies that knock it out of the part in the quick response and quality of online chat or ... at least... a phone number where you can talk to a live person. Its frustrating when you're working on a project, run into a problem and then have to stop working on that project while you wait for someone to answer your question. And while Postcron does have a Help page with FAQ's I almost never can find my question in there. But... I'm giving Postcron a 5 star review because their response time is reasonable and because I love their platform so much.. its so affordable and other social media schedulers are more expensive and... its so easy to use! So for functionality, affordability, easy or use and reasonable response they get 5 stars. Review Source AA Aarin A. Pros I liked that you could manage multiple groups from one platform. Cons Too many connection errors, and media limitations. If you can't make a bill they will block your account then when you do pay it they don't change your renewal date. I paid $30 to use there service for 4 days before they demanded payment again and blocked my account. Their customer service is horrible and they refuse to help or understand why someone would not want to double pay. No need to post carousel posts on Instagram on real time anymore. But there are serveral limitations to improve. If Postcron can solve all those limitation I believe it will become on of the best app for Social Media Management ever. Looking forward to see your improvement. Pros Postcron can improve my work life by allowing me to schedule the social media posts in advance. I have searched for tools that can schedule the carousel posts on Instagram as well as Instagram story. Cons 1\. I don't like the limitation of 18 posts on Instagram per day as my business sometime have to post more than that. 2. The mobile application can not post carousel photos on Instagram, what I did to solve the problem was I use the postcron on mobile browser. The application should have the same capacity with the website. 3. Postcron does not allow us to pick the video cover for Facebook and Instagram posts. 4. I still cannot put hashtag or rich content on the scheduled video for Instagram story. The Art Studio only allows the rich content and hashtag for Instagram story photo posts. 5. The interface of the scheduling page should allow the users to see daily, weekly, monthly schedule clearly. See how Buffer do it as the references. Pros It is really easy to get started and you don't have to spend time learning. I like that we can set up groups of social media outlets to send posts to combinations of outlets at one time. I switched from Hootsuite. It was just too complicated and too expensive. Plus, if you can't do bulk loading of posts without pictures, why do it. That function was important to us on Postcron. They keep adding functions like IG stories and design in program that add a lot of value and have kept the subscription price low. Postcron has good customer support. The get back by email relatively quickly and you can tell it is a real person that makes sure your problem is solved. No cut and pasting from F&A like others! I recommend it to all the small businesses I know, but it has capabilities for any size business. Cons I wish we had a direct login. I don't like logging in through google or facebook. I wish the chrome upload extension for photos worked when you are in google drive. Review Source PL Paul L. Owner Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Disgusting Service" November 28, 2019 1.0 Absolutely horrified by how this company operates, their customer service is despicable and quite frankly I view this 'software' as a disgusting waste of company money. We realised within hours that we had no interest in a delayed posting function which is available through countless other suppliers, we contacted PostCron immediately to refund the money which they refused to do so based on a 'no refund' policy. Location is key here but it's very rare to find a country in which such a policy is even remotely legal. This was over 12 months ago now, we exchanged numerous emails with (SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN) at the time regarding our refund and our intention to cancel. I'm writing this today as they have had the audacity to charge our account again for a renewal, despite several emails requesting this be cancelled over a year ago. We contacted (SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN) immediately who is simply refusing to address the issue as this 'company's' turnover is clearly entirely funded by fraudulent charges. She even claims it is 'not possible' to refund the money. Do yourself a favour and stay well away. The service is poor, the support is non-existent and it's relatively expensive. Pros Very little, the postings are restricted and the terms of the subscription lack all transparency, Cons The support is atrocious, the responses are rude, unhelpful and seemingly come from staff that have no comprehension of the importance of customer service or customer retention. Huge help and would gladly recommend (as I have to others looking for a similar solution). Also, very fair pricing for this service. Pros Postcron is great for posting simultaneously to Facebook/Twitter, etc. It allows you to link up to five accounts and schedule ten posts with their free plan, and the ability to upgrade to the business plan for greater capacity. Probably the easiest scheduling app I've found. Cons Too often, we would schedule a group of time-sensitive posts, only to find out much later the "One of our posts wasn't published because..." and then it would list a reason that was not applicable or would be the sort of thing that should have alerted me as I was posting. Once you compose and schedule a post and it saves, it should post at the scheduled time. That's this applications reason for existence. We finally stopped using it and went with Hootsuite instead. A year later I got socked with a surprise bill of about $300 for an annual renewal. Yeah, I should've cancelled, but yeah, they should have offered a functioning service. I requested a refund. They replied basically "read your contract." No time for companies like these. Reason for choosing Postcron I should've gone with Hootsuite. More expensive, but it works, which is a nice touch. I did have a problem with the watermarks not posting to my Instagram when I used the phone app. Contacting support was easy. They were unaware of the issue and had it fixed within a reasonable amount of time. Pros My favorite feature is the Watermark. Postcron will automatically add the watermark to all of your photo posts which saves me from having to do it myself and that equals significant time savings! They also have a fantastic app for my phone, so I can schedule posts anywhere and anytime! Cons I cannot edit my watermarks from my phone, but that is only a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately with just email support it took forever to get feedback, then when I did if I wasn’t able to respond to the email right away, the case was just closed as solved. When I did get to have a dialogue with them, they claimed they could not see the issues I had described even after sending detailed screen shots of my issues. The answers were always just something like “we don’t see that” or “our app doesn’t do that” even though it clearly was doing those things. Completely ridiculous. Waste of money. Definitely will never recommend to anyone. Horrible app and customer service. Find something else. Pros When it worked, it was very convenient. However this was not often. I liked that it was one of the first to work with instagram but now there are others as well. Cons Lots of technical issues such as severely degrading image quality and color, not posting for no specific reason, not working with multiple images for Instagram, cutting off captions on the first line or all together, can’t see the full pic in scheduled posts, etc. Review Source DG Diana G. We can post many posts across all of our accounts effectively and they actually post (some of these schedulers act up with Instagram and the post never publishes). It was also nice that we could have our watermark automatically added to our images, so that was one less thing we had to do when we created our content. Pros Postcron isn't a bad source to schedule all of my posts for different social media accounts for our store, all in one place. I like how it includes Instagram which not all of them do. The analytics it provides is also a must. Cons The reason why I just think it's ok and there's better out there is because of the price. You're able to do the lowest tier plan but it doesn't include analytics and that is crucial for businesses in general. The next tier, the one we use, costs twice as much per month just to have the analytics tools. There are schedulers out there that cost less than this plan that do the same thing, unfortunately. Cons I wouldn't recommend. We canceled a year ago and since they don't send confirmations for cancelations they claim we never canceled and billed us for an entire year with no reconsiderations. However, they said "If you have proof that you've cancelled your subscription we are willing to reconsider your case." ... how nice of them. Pros The user interface is amazing and it's so easy to use and schedule all of your posts. The ability to post the same content to all of your accounts is an excellent feature.
