Pros The auto tracking feature in the app and the thought of the beacon making tracking even easier Cons All the inconsistency in tracking and the beacon never properly pairing but saying it did. I constantly get pinged daily to pair the beacon even when the truck isn’t turned on. Pairing with the beacon is only required during its initial setup with Psngr app. No pairing is required, and in fact discouraged, after that. When the beacon is paired, it operates in "pairing mode" and does not publish its presence. This actually prevents Psngr app from detecting the beacon. Please check iOS Settings > Bluetooth, and remove PsngrBeacon from the devices list to prevent accidental pairing with the beacon. If the app still fails to detect your beacon after you've removed it from iOS Settings > Bluetooth devices, it may be due to: 1. The beacon is plugged into a USB port in the vehicle that does not deliver consistent power, either via a faulty USB charger connected to the 12V socket (cigar lighter), or masked by objects (e.g. when plugging the beacon into a USB socket in the glove compartment). 2. iOS Bluetooth may need to be restarted. Try rebooting your iPhone. 3. The beacon device itself is damaged and needs to be replaced. ES Emelia S. When it auto tracks drives I don’t need they’re easy to delete so an easy fix. The main issue is the draining of my phone battery. Otherwise it’s easy to use and works well. Pros It’s quite accurate with the auto tracking with the location. It’s easy to put it into the categories for private and business. I like that you can see reports as you go about how much is weighted to private and business. Cons Sometimes it tracks me when I’m walking and uses up my phone battery. The only way to get it to stop tracking walking is to disable the auto movement but then it won’t auto track drives. It doesn’t save the walking but it drains my phone battery. I also do not like when it auto tracks and I delete it mid drive or walk and then it starts to auto track again despite deleting it. The reporting function is a breeze. Pros It’s very intuitive. I only need to have my phone with me and it logs my trips. Best of all it automatically captures enough data to allow me to defer dealing with it until I want to. Pros I needed to track significant miles driven for business. Since the business is just me, I don't need an overwhelming accounting control system, but do require an unarguable audit trail for tax reporting purposes. PSNGR gives me a simple way to verify my tax reportable miles driven with minimum investment of time and money. Pros The application is easy to use, automatically and accurately tracks your movements. The fact that you can view your previous trips on a map, and you can name the destinations is very useful too. One very nice feature is it recognizes when you stop somewhere (ex Coffee on the road), and YOU have control whether the stop is part of the initial trip, or you consider them as two different ones (ex: From Office to Client1, then to Client2 - was Client1 just a stop or a destination on its own? - you decide). I have ordered the Beacon that goes with it, and it tracks even better (no longer asks if you arrived at destination when you are stuck in heavy traffic). It's a "Set it and Forget it" kinda app. Very nice. Never miss logging a trip anymore. Cons The way you name an address is not intuitive. I had to send a request to support to discover this feature existed. By the way, excellent support. In the mobile app, under the new "Reports" tab, you can add a new report with your start/end dates. On the web dashboard (login at https://psngr.co), again under "Reports" tab, click "New Report".
