Lots of potential Pros Could do a range of things, allowed me to control my daughters attendance at daycare without lots of paperwork that goes missing Cons Had trouble confirming my bookings as there was a final button at the bottom of the screen which required scrolling down and didn't work smoothly all the time. Pros This software has been great, everything is in the palm of your hand and you can easily do the things you need to do most for childcare with the touch of a button. Cons Initial set up of the user account was somewhat fiddly but once it was up and running it was great. Cons Having to sign in each time and it is not used for observations and health, have to check a separate app called Kindy Hub for daily reviews on my child. The families love how they can see their child being signed into after school care in real time. A lot of families say it gives them piece of mind. I love the support from the Xplor staff and their knowledge. When the sign-in function is working, it is good to also be able to see who is in care. Cons Limited reports, lots of glitches resulting in incorrect bookings and attendances. For parents, data and battery use on phones as well as the need to turn on bluetooth and location are all undesirable. Customer service ranges from great to very poor. Review Source RR Rebecca R. It does keep good records of attendance, payments and Cenrelink CCS information. Pros The sign in/out feature. So that, when you are really pushed for time, you can sign your child into daycare from the car if need be. I also liked the idea of the health feature, although this daycare never uses it. Cons When you have changed from one daycare to another (and they both use XPLOR) it can be difficult to keep track of which 'child' you need to click on eg: it would have John Smith (child) on there twice.
