### "AMAZING SOFTWARE"

I opened my after school club about 8 months ago. I have struggled to find a software that meets my demands financially but also easy to use. When I found Cheqdin I was extremely pleased with all the features specifically with the invoices service. It helps me optimise my time daily and the helpful customer service is always available to help. I highly recommend this software!

Pros

This software has all the features needed to help me optimise my after school club and keep my updates in check. Its extremely easy to use, no jargon, no hidden fees, all features are explained throughout.

Cons

I have yet to find any cons in this software..

### "Great App with great support "

We have used Cheqdin for over a year now and have been very satisfied with the service. The Customer service support is excellent.

Pros

Cheqdin is an easy system to use and is great for us as we only need to pay for a certain amount of children so we can keep the cost down as we are a local authority nursery school, it is easy to navigate and the support from customer service is great. It also helps to monitor our staffing and they can also sign in and out on this system

Cons

There is nothing I don't like about Cheqdin, it is easy to use and there is always support when needed.

My overall experience with Cheqdin has been extremely positive especially thanks to \[sensitive content hidden\]Whenever I’ve had a question or run into a tricky spot, she’s been my go-to, handling all of my inquiries with care and efficiency. Her support has made all the difference!

Pros

I’ve been using Cheqdin to manage our children’s registers, payments and invoices and it’s been a reliable partner in keeping everything organised. The platform is quite intuitive, making it easy to log attendance and quickly generate invoices for parents. I especially appreciate the clarity it brings to payment tracking, helping me ensure no detail slips through the cracks. While every system has a learning curve, I’ve found Cheqdin to be a solid tool that gives me confidence in managing both the administrative side and parent communication smoothly.

Cons

Honestly, there isn’t anything major that I dislike. If I had to pick something, it might be that occasionally I wish certain features were a bit more customisable to suit very specific needs but overall, it still works really well for me."

Great, its a very easy website to use, the app form is also great for staff sign in and out and using it as a register for children signing in and out has been great and saved us time.

Pros

How easy it was to send out Group invoices each Monday from the already generated invoices that pulled through all your booking patterns.

Cons

Not being able to delete an invoice is if showed part paid, it would be great if we could delete/cancel an invoice and the money just go back on the system like our old system had.

Switched from

To make our jobs easier, we didn't have the option to send out group invoices.

Great really helpful and friendly staff. Website itself is pleasing to the eye. Very easy to find your way around and edit things as required.

Pros

I absolutely love that you can have a free demo with an actual person before even committing to use the site. I love the amount of variety the website has in terms of the different things it covers, booking, invoicing, messaging parents there's just so much it has. Same person to talk to when questions arise so it's not explaining the same thing to someone new. I love continuity

Cons

I wouldn't say I like least but just think more options on the payment method. As we are a charity and can't afford to pay 1% or more to a third party to enable parents to pay via the website. But understand there is a need to safeguard people's information. Id also like to see more options to do with discounted sessions. But I hear that is already in the process.

Exceptional - brilliant customer service , quick to respond and very professional. A number of options to report queries.

Pros

Easy to use, fantastic tool for managing wraparound care, no fees taken from money received from parents.

Cons

If a parent needs to cancel an individual booking it does not automatically reverse the charge. The set up for a new academic year is time consuming - especially when setting up for a new year.

Very good, and team are very helpful if any supported needed. Induction training/setup support very good

Pros

Simple to use for signing up children with little staff involvement. The diary and booking system is much easier to setup than other system are much easier for parents. also better control on finance than other systems

Cons

Sometimes the invoices are too detailed and lists each individual day a child attends instead of giving a general from and to date of attendence.

We're a busy AfterSchool Service based in Co. Galway, Ireland. Year on Year there's been a big increase in the administration that comes with running an AfterSchool Service & especially with the introduction of the NCS Scheme from Government. We were looking for something that would improve: (1) Our administration process (2) Save on Time (3) Cost Effective (4) User Friendly Cheqdin has surpassed all of our expectations, not alone that, but the on-going support from the team is impeccable. There was never an issue that was not resolved. A big shout out to "Lucy" for all her friendly support and we would have no hesitation in recommending Cheqdin. Really positive, good product and the staff are really helpful

Pros

We were looking for a product to take our fees inline and streamline them in the nursery. Right from the start Cheqdin were great with us. We have our own contact \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] who is very patient with us and always on the end of the phone for us. She worked with our admin and now our admin is on maternity. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is available to me when I have queries as I don’t use the system as much as our admin does. We wanted a company based in Scotland who understood ELC 1140 hours and the registrations we work under.

Cons

Nothing, our broadband at the nursery is poor, so sometimes the package is slow but when I work from home there are no issues and is a great system to work with.

Because they were professional, Scotland based and understood our ELC 1140 hours and registration conditions for our nursery.

Less time consuming then manually doing registers. No paper archiving required and it's secure for parents to sign their child/children in and out

Pros

I like that parents can sign in and out without the use of paper. Data is stored and accessible and is secure. Easy to use for parents and staff alike. I like that we are ahead of the competition in our field and it's great when parents have used this software in a nursery setting prior to coming to our setting. I think the best bit is the online ad hoc booking option which cuts out massive amounts of manual work at our end and allows parents to book at a time convenient for them. I can't wait for the auto billing function!

It's still in the development stage and is being updated with new features when required; so I have no complaints.

It’s easy to use and navigate around the site . Everything is electronic , I like that invoices haven’t been paid I can send a reminder .

Pros

I like that you can invoice weekly , monthly or termly. You can set up regular scheduled payments, and track everything.

Cons

I was on the free trial then My number of children increased so I had to pay for the site , would like to see a more basic for a bit cheaper as I don’t need all the data offered and only use a basic of invoices, but that’s because of the nature of the job .

We love that this software enables us to reduce paperwork, save time on printing registers and avoids the need to keep and store large amounts of paper. I like that I can easily check on the numbers of staff and children at each of my settings.

I need to be able to access a live staff register on the app in case of an emergency.

I have been using Cheqdin Childcare Software for 1 month, since my son's childcare club (Mighty Oaks) started to use it. I am very happy with its functionality. It's easy to use, and helps to have peace of mind knowing the exact time when my son was picked from school and brought to the childcare club.

Pros

It's easy to use Cheqdin, Notebook Messenger helps to communicate with my son's childcare club in real time. The notifications I receive in regards to my son's attendance is great, so I always know when my son signed in and out from the club. Easy to book through this software.

Cons

I don't know if this can be implemented or not, but it would be very useful to be able to pay for the childcare bookings through this app. I can book, but I don't see any option to pay directly from there.

There is no feature of parents to check and update their child’s information every six months in line with the care inspectorates recommendations however I feel this will maybe be added as this company is always adding something else onto the program

### "Great system, loads of good features"

Its taking a little bit of time to get used to the system but overall we are really happy with it.

Pros

Ease of use. Great features for example: parents are notified when their child is checkin in givign them peace of mind. there are many more so far its been great.

Cons

Can be a bit faffy to set up, trying to get parents to complete registration forms on the new system was a chore and some we had to do ourselves but now its set up its great.

We are very pleased with our overall experience with the platform, it has saved us a mountain of paperwork and continues to prove a valuable time saving resource.

Pros

It is a very easy to use interface, with what should be a complicated task, simplified by the way the menu options/items have been created for the user to navigate.

Cons

There isn't really anything that we like least about cheqdin, the only process we would like to see introduced is the ability to create template reports for items such as producing customised layouts for registers etc..

I cannot fault my expereince with Cheqdin. Although there are a few niggles within the system, customer support is incomparable!

Pros

Having information all in one place and on one system. Childrens records, staff records & invoicing. The customer service provides a personal experience always on hand and willing to look into issues and possible change in future updates.

Cons

The filtering options are lacking - not being able to see all children on one page. When you select a filter, and complete an action, it automatically refreshes te filters which isn't helpful when you need to action the same filter more than once. Not able to bulk upload (although you used to be able to)

Very positive overall. Had two previous contacts and \[sensitive content hidden\] has been a star. Makes things as simple as possible and never a stupid question, no matter how many times I ask them. Without this kind of support, I’d be lost tbh, it’s priceless.

Pros

Sending invoices has become so Much faster, responsive customer care and advice

Cons

Booking in sessions- wish we could book in using specific days and dates for the year ahead. For example, ‘\[sensitive content hidden\] is going to attend every Mon tues and Wed from Aug til June’..would make my life so much easier and less potential human error clicking the wrong dates in error. I’d prefer if the site was a little easier to navigate…I feel like it’s full functionality isn’t obvious. Also, would love if session registers could be printed directly rather than exported to excel…

I was thrown in at the deep end when I started using Cheqdin with my manager going on long term sick leave. I had a lot to figure out for myself and luckily the site isn't too difficult to navigate. Your customer service team always appear on hand to talk through hurdles. We are hoping that we will be fully accessing all areas of Cheqdin in a few weeks time and if all goes to plan this will make things a lot easier for our setting.

Pros

Excellent customer service, the support I have received from \[sensitive content hidden\] has been amazing and always there when a hit a stumbling block. The easy to use registers are great for your setting and been able to look at the children's information on apps, such as tags or contact details has been much easier.

Cons

The system appears slow, I thought it was our Wifi but actually where ever I use the website it takes an age to load causing delays and hold ups in the process. It would be useful to have information buttons where you could find a little more information about different areas such as products for example.
