Pros Its seamless and allows me to quickly deliver feedback to my team, and in turn they manage to also quickly get back to me. Pros I like that I can bucket my many tasks according to my own organization method, without disturbing the categorization of tasks in the team's basecamp. It's helpful for me as a designer to track what projects are out for approvals, what projects need attention, and what projects are blocked. Cons Tracked has made task management so much easier and more pleasant day-to-day. No changes that I'd like to see other than maybe being able to tag the tasks by color? January 29, 2019 5.0 Pros I originally was used to using Trello before transitioning to Basecamp and the concept of a kanban board/cards where I can assign where each task is progress wise. I also like being able to see every task assigned to me in one place instead of having to click through each of my projects. Cons Sometimes, I get kicked out of Tracked and have to re-log-in which can get annoying. April 20, 2018 5.0 Kanban board for Basecamp cards, a single place for comments around tasks. Pros Ability to link Basecamp cards to priorities. Would be hard to link each card with a separate card in Trello. Discussions are all in one place. Addresses a legit need in Basecamp lots of engineering teams use Kanban boards. Cons Its not as easy to use as Trello. It feels a little clunky and hard to use for example, when clicking on a card, it appears in a small-ish modal, which is a chore to navigate. Would rather have it open in a larger modal that looks more like the Basecamp UI. Overall, it might make more sense to just use Trello for engineering related tasks, and only use Basecamp for things that the rest of the company needs to see/comment on. Review Source PW Paul W. Trello and Asana already allows for Kanban .... This add-on allows Basecamp to finally do the same. Cons Not as flexible as other Kanban solutions... probably more on BaseCamp's side... Was not able to have a single Kanban card where you could have to dos as part of the card; limited color coding, limted labeling ... compare it with Trello or Asana's Kanban features and you may agree. February 1, 2019 5.0 My overall experience with Tracked is highly positive. It makes basecamp easier to use by helping me get organized on big projects. It has been a big boost in visibility to allow my team to see where I'm at on a project at a glance. Pros Tracked makes it so easy to view your Basecamp to do's and break it down as a Kanban board. This really helped me to visualize my process and know exactly how far along a project was at a glance. The drag and drop functionality is really handy too! Cons Can't think of anything I least like about Tracked. But we also love Basecamp, and use that as the literal base of all of our communications. Having the flexibility to view Basecamp to-do's in Kanban format has been a complete game changer. Pros My team loves that we can utilize the structure and functions of Kanban boards with the power tools that Basecamp offers. Together, these are a perfect combination! Tracked definitely made Basecamp a more attractive options for this, but ultimately, we decided on another tool since this solution felt duct-taped together. Pros This is probably the best way to allow Kanban board functionality in Basecamp. Customer support is also very good. Pros Tracked has allowed us to break out big projects into small ones. This way they make much more sense to the team. It is very easy to have a nice overview of the board and to check the status of every single task. I thought the Tracked Kanban board was a great idea for managing the to dos, so I used it on a trial basis. I got some others to use it as well. This made the to dos so much more useful as opposed to the done/not done status provided in Basecamp. You don't need to write anything, just move it to change the status. Pros It was easy to learn and easy to use. It was so easy to drag and drop the to dos. Cons I was not able to have my own license on my company's Basecamp. Review Source WD Winston D. Our team meetings are much shorter with Basecamp/Tracked because our team knows exactly what page everyone is on and/or if anyone is stuck or overloaded with work. Please keep updating/improving on this software. Pros The agile/scrum style verticals are a essential for productivity and efficiency. The labels feature transforms Basecamp into an application that provides so much value for what you are getting. Cons I would love for Basecamp and Tracked to collaborate on a thick client or mobile app so that users can have the same experience when they are on their phone or while offline.
