We have clients of all ages using the app and loving it! Cons We like to send pictures of our surgery patients after the procedure is complete. However, We are still updating email addresses and there is no easy way to enter the new email address the same day so we can send the picture. It takes 24 hours to update the new info. February 6, 2020 4.0 This is a good start to what I'm sure will eventually be a super useful app/system. keep up the great work! Pros The app is a bit limited in functionality and the interface is not intuitive. as a pet owner, you can do most of what you think you can do, it just takes a little while to navigate the app to find the right section. Cons A couple of major drawbacks. First, I really downloaded the app to try and get a vaccination report for my dog to give to the groomer. The information is there, but not in any useful format. I'd like a cleaner listing that I could print or at least screenshot. Second, no web interface - really? Seems like this may just be a novelty app? I work for a hospital chain and no one would take us seriously if we told our patients that the only access we offer to their information was via an app. Why would you limit yourself to the smart phone user interface when you don't have to? Pros How easy and efficient it makes everyone's job! Everything we need is in one place so our team is able to easily do what's needed for our clients. Cons The only thing missing is a loyalty program for practices like ours that have several locations but one server. " May 3, 2018 5.0 Clients like having access to their records and scheduling appointments without calling. This all helps keep clients in compliance. Pros I like that people can see all of their pets vaccines on their phones. This way they have access 24/7. People like being able to request appointments with out calling. I was concerned making appointments this way would set us up for some issues but very few have come up. Cons It seems to send many review emails. 1 per pet every 60 days seems a bit excessive to me. But this isnt a huge deal, just the only con i could think of. I also would like to see the message history longer than 10 messages. I would prefer to have all the messages saved if needed. I think the set up and implementation have been great. If anything maybe more training on the admin side of the dashboard. Pros I learned about this program from my pet's vet. It was very useful, you can get in touch with your pet, get reminders about appointments, order medication. Very nice. May 1, 2019 5.0 i did not know about petdesk until our family vet sent us a link. it was already preloaded for vital record details and all i had to do was add pics. i am still playing around with reminders and schedules but so far am very happy! Pros my favorite thing so far is that the software allows me to schedule and sync to my iphone's calendar... even for simple reminders to schedule something like grooming. you can have your family vet info loaded into each pet's profile so you have the most current shot info and important dates all at your fingertips! Helps everyone with our Fido Friday events while keeping everyone in our office safe. Pros At my company, we have “Fido Fridays” where we are able to bring our dogs to work with us. PetDesk helps simplify any notifications we need to be updated on as well as making sure HR can see that we have been keeping up with shots. This has increased the safety around the office. I can also use to remind myself of my own appointments with my dogs at a vet. Cons Honestly, I don’t really have anything bad to say about this product. Pros I like that get an email when we get the notifications. I like that the clietns get sent reminders and it makes my life easier not having to call every one of my clients for the next day when half or more of them use pet desk. Cons The application isn't very user friendly and needs a bit of cleaning up. It doesn't track the fact that I have scheduled time for my dog to be boarded at the vet. It also isn't the best tool for communicating directly with my vet with questions or trying to figure out the best appointment time on a particular day. Can schedule appointments and fill medicine without having to make a phone call. This connects the client to the hospital in a convenient way. September 29, 2017 5.0 As a hospital, it has helped us give another avenue of communication for our owners to reach out to us for the simple tasks that they may need to set up. Pros User friendly for both the set up & for the clients. Simple & to the point information on both ends helps trying to figure out how to use or how to read things easier. Always had timely help with any questions that I had for myself or for users. Cons Would like to see a little more medical history details (IE: labs, radiographs) be able to populate for owners.
