We are making the switch to be more project and commercial base and Contractor Foreman help with doing that. Pros Contractor Foreman is a great organizational tool for project management and CRM. It is very easy to use and you get great value for the price. Cons Software is very simple design wise, but there are really no complains in terms of that. Occasionally there are bugs but it does not happen consistently. Also, since we still do residential, we would like to be able to add more that one appointment to a residential service ticket, specifically when we are needing to go back to complete the work. Everything form the time clock to the AIA billing and the ease of creating an SOV - just cuts down on so much admin time. Its very helpful. Pros I like that it is cost effective and full of features. I also appreciate the amount of time that went into providing resources for learning and training on the system. Every feature has a training module which makes it even easier to use. Cons With my experience in the software so far, I really dont have much negative feedback. There are lots of customizable options, including branding any templates that you choose to use. The only thing I wish I could do, was have the system send and email (invoice or estimate or whatever) and the email shows that its coming from me instead of contractor foreman. If I forget to tell the client, they dont recognize the email address and they dont open it. CEO Construction Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "“Concept Good, Results Disappointing”" December 2, 2025 1.0 My experience with Contractors Foreman has been unacceptable and has raised serious concerns regarding their business practices. When I first purchased the software, I contacted them immediately to request a refund because the system did not meet my expectations. A representative called me and told me to ‘keep trying,’ assuring me that she would follow up. She never did. Before my annual contract renewed, I contacted the company again and clearly informed them that I did not want to continue the service and that they were not authorized to withdraw any additional funds from my account. Despite this explicit instruction, Contractors Foreman still went ahead and processed the charge without my permission. Only after I sent multiple emails requesting a refund did a manager contact me. Rather than resolving the unauthorized charge, she attempted to convince me to continue paying for a product I had already made clear I did not want. The software itself is extremely confusing and does not follow standard U.S. construction guidelines for contracts, invoicing, documentation, or workflow management. It is concerning to imagine what could happen if someone relied heavily on this system—investing hundreds or thousands of hours and large amounts of money—only to face issues later. Recovering your data or obtaining meaningful support would be extremely difficult based on my experience. The unauthorized withdrawal of funds, the failure to honor refund promises, the lack of follow-up, and the non-compliant, confusing structure of the software have made this one of the most disappointing business interactions I have encountered. I cannot recommend Contractors Foreman to any contractor or business. Until the funds withdrawn without authorization are returned, I will continue documenting and sharing the facts of my experience so that other contractors are aware of what occurred.” Pros I appreciated the concept and the effort put into the product, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations or provide the results I was hoping for, even after trying it as recommended. The price it costs for the software is also very cheap compared to other similar software. The customer support has been amazing, I have to wait a minute at most to get someone in their chat to help me out when I need it. Cons When making very large estimates the software slows down a lot and it can be hard to navigate since it starts to really chuck along to get everything loaded.
