The learning modules really helped me with the software as well as verbiage. Pros The support is always ready to help me learn without making me feel incompetent. I am new to this role, only a few months. I have talked to lots of different support members and they are always helpful. I have never had to wait on anyone either. They are always available via Chat :-) Cons The Calendar hasn't ever really worked correctly, we use google calendar instead. It seems to work if they "refresh" on their end, then works for a few days then wonky again. The phone app is not as user friendly as I would like. It could be a learning curve, but I would like to see some improvements in that. Projul was great for estimates and invoices, and Buildium did what we needed back then. But for a small construction company, has everything we need in one spot, which makes our lives a lot easier. Pros I really like because it’s easy to use, versatile, and has everything in one place, so we don’t have to juggle multiple programs. Our whole team can access project details anytime, which keeps things running smoothly. We’ve also integrated it with CompanyCam, so all our photos go straight into the platform, which has been a huge help. Cons Like any software, it has its quirks—sometimes we get a “Bad Gateway” message—but we haven’t had any timeout issues in months. I know there’s still a lot more we could be using, like tracking labor and material costs, using the leads module, and getting more into Gantt scheduling, but that’s something we’ll phase in over time. It does have some features we don't use but may in the future. Pros Value for the money, Customer support is very responsive. They have lots of training videos already for learning the system. Cons We did have QB Desktop and did not care much for that integration. We have since switched to QB online and it works allot better. Pros has been an amazing help as I set up my construction company from the ground up. Really good for building out estimates and changing things around until they look good for the client. Very flexible interface, easy to use at first, but can get as complex as you need. Good for keeping track of expenses with the app. Good app/desktop continuity. Easy to customize PDF estimates for a variety of uses. Cons Unable to round up prices on estimates is a little annoying. Also the tiered pricing is a bummer but “that’s how they get ya” Alternatives considered [Procore](https://www.capterra.com/p/56250/Procore/) Reason for choosing Contractor Foreman Procore is way too expensive for someone who’s just starting out.
