Cons

The interface can feel overwhelming at first, and some features (like scheduling and reporting) aren’t as intuitive as they could be. The mobile app also needs performance improvements, especially for offline use.

### "Great program for the cost"

I think it's great. We actually used this program for a couple years, tried something else, then switched back. It can be a bit slow at times. That is pretty frustrating.

Pros

Easy to use. The app is pretty seamless for our guys in the field.

Cons

Not able to customize everything as needed. There needs to be more customizable features within each module.

### "Works as hard as you do"

### "Great all-in-one platform"

Overall experience has been positive. is helpful by having all aspects of a project covered in one place. I love being able to jump from projects to daily logs to estimates to the directory quickly and easily. It is also a huge benefit to have great functionality between desktop and mobile interfaces, so that the field crew can easily upload information that is regularly accessible to the office staff. Had all of the pieces we were looking for in one place. Ease of use between mobile & desktop devices. Competitive price.

Pros

does a great job at creating a clear, functional and customizable dashboard from which to navigate all aspects of project management. I love that there are so many modules, each with a specific focus. The support & training aspect of the program has been exceptional. The live chat is always available and if my issue isn't able to be solved through the bot, I am routed to a human. Additionally, their responsiveness through email has been quick and accommodating. I love that all modules contain integrated training videos which are very helpful and easy to access. We have also had positive experiences with their 1:1 training and live webinars offered throughout the week. Although there are some issues with the software and some bugs present, they are very upfront about providing a forum for submitting bugs and suggestions to the platform. And their acknowledgment of these bugs and suggestions combined with their willingness to fix and implement them is very refreshing.

Cons

The deliverables could be more polished. The customization could be more intuitive. There are some simple functions, such as viewing and printing documents/estimates/forms, that could be more straightforward and apparent.

### "It did most of what was advertised"

Subpar. It did the job but was not impressive. Customer service was also spotty

Pros

We utilized for a little over a year. During that time we had many occasions where the app would not allow our employees to clock in/out or access job information. Many promises were made to improve bids but we never saw any improvement. It seemed like each upgrade or new feature brought frustration and tech support is nonexistent. We also had multiple problems with Stripe and QBO creating duplicate transactions. Overall, the app is average for the price you pay.

Cons

Overpromised upgrades and could not easily download information after we decided to leave.

Pros

is an excellent software for project management from CMR, to schedule projects, to the client portal that allows clients to view progress photos, change orders and chat with our office team. We've been using CF for about 6 months now and what a difference our projects are more organized. I would highly recommend CF to anyone!

I'm hoping CF will introduce cloud storage and more auto-generated feature.

It is frustrating to use at times, but the ability to create and track estimates & change orders, convert estimates to projects, create and track POs and Invoices, and sync it all with QuickBooks is quite powerful and so far worth the growing pains.

Pros

I appreciate how CF links so many major business functions into a single tool. I was able to cancel some subscriptions to other apps. And the customizable dashboard allows me to see my most important items at a glance.

Cons

The tool still needs to enhance its reporting capabilities. And we have some issues with staying synced when building a complicated estimate.

Before joining , we did not use any program to keep track of customers, payroll, or scheduling. We are now more efficient and able to keep track of everything within one program!

Pros

It has allowed us to be more organized. It is also very easy to use. The \[sensitive content hidden\] of the company is very happy with the program.

Cons

There could be a few things added to make the process a little quicker. For instance, when you enter an estimate there should be an option to remove the contact from the Leads area instead of having to do it manually.

### "Contractor Forman provided my company a growth curve that other programs we tried promised but never delivered!"

CF has helped me grow my business by understanding my profitability and how to understand my costs of every project and service ticket. This program integrates both and this is perfect as we do big jobs and little jobs. Last year we managed a project that brought in $325,000 and we managed change orders actively and continued to do our service jobs and manage that. I am the owner and with only part time help from my office manger

Pros

I like that is continuing to expand and grow. I was a $300,000 business And with CF I have expanded my customer base and this last year we did 1.2 million in just a short time.

Cons

On one day we Had limited access but had a work around within 1 hour. The CF team jumped on the challenge and gut us back up and running quickly.

House all pro did a good job on the service side of things. However the larger projects like remodeling we found it difficult to manage as it was not set up for multiple day and technicians. Now with CF we can have a technician log into a project and move to another project mid day. Or move to shop or office depending on the needs of our company. We can also track the worker compensation class they work in and report split time and have the records. This also includes. Labor rates based on living wages as well as union/minimum hourly by class for our city and county work.

### "Only as Complicated as you let it be."

Overall I love this software. it has great depth as far as being able to completely track a construction project from scheduling time, inputting invoices, contacting project managers , and much more.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use and understand. there are a myriad of different ways to use this software, and the longer I use it the more I fall in love with it. if you have any problems Customer Support is always quick to answer and the Live chat feature is wonderful. I this software almost everyday and so far it has been the easiest one to explain to our other employees.

Cons

There are entirely too many ways to accomplish the same task.

### "Contractor Foreman - Great construction tool"

It helps me manage communication and files internally, all in one centralized spot, which is a huge time-saver. I also really appreciate the ability to forecast a construction schedule using the Gantt chart feature—it’s an excellent tool for planning and staying on track.

Pros

One of the best things I like about is that it’s specifically designed for construction. The system allows me to keep track of submittals and RFIs in one central location, making organization seamless. It also helps me manage change orders and track progress billing, including holdbacks—features that were crucial for my business needs.

Cons

The biggest pain point I have with —and honestly, with any construction software—is the ability to estimate and control costs effectively within the system. I need a way to create assemblies, like defining that a toilet installation requires materials A, B, and C and takes two hours. Then, I’d like to multiply that assembly by the number of toilets on a project for accurate estimates. Having the flexibility to assign different material types to these assemblies is also crucial. To be fair, I haven’t found any software that can fully address this, so I keep resorting back to Excel.

Been good, been a year and still learning how to best use the system, as we get more comfortable with it, it has become easier.

Pros

Allows me to keep all of my projects and invoicing, etc in one place.

Cons

lack of ability to customize layout, etc. For example, I wish I could configure what data I want to see when viewing invoice summary, like being able to add a column to view "item" which is what that invoice is for, without having to click on them and open it to see which invoice it is. Would rather that than the Invoice # for example. Currently no way to customize the view based on my needs// Would also like to see a dedicated notes section for client management, in other words, there is a notes section under the custom fields (under Project>Summary), would be nice if each time I entered a new note, it would date/time stamp it. For reference in the future.

Jam packed with great features for the commercial GC without the ridiculous cost that some of the big names are charging.

Switching to a new project management software can be hard. provides a massive library of training videos along with the most responsive customer support team I've ever experienced. They have made the transition as easy as it possibly could be.

Pros

has a decently helpful AI bot to help with any issues you have, but as soon as you need a human's help, you are instantly connected to a support agent. And I mean INSTANTLY. Of the many times I needed help, I received help from a human right away! I always had confidence useing the program knowing that if I ran into issues, it could easily be resolved quickly and efficiently. Best customer service from a program like this that I've ever experienced.

doesn't have every feature imaginable. So if it doesn't have the specific features your company needs, then it may not be the best fit.

My onboarding with CF was relatively smooth and just like any other programs, I've encountered issues but thankfully, their chat support always comes thru! Never had to wait for a long time and even if some of my queries only required an easy fix, they would never make you feel stupid.

Pros

CF is easier to use compared to past programs I've used. It is truly intuitive and I appreciate that the developers are consistently trying to improve the program by listening to customer feedback. Customer support is top tier as I've never seen such helpful chat support before. They reply within seconds and 9/10 times provide me with the help I need. We use CF everyday which makes it an integral part of our workflow. The financial features are definitely life savers as we can see them at a glance with the graphs and charts automatically updated.

Cons

There are some restrictions when it comes to organizing stuff but it's probably from my end as an employee which has less access.
