Poorly designed platform. Worst EMR I have ever used. It might be safe for patient files but user experience is a distant concern for the designer of the platform. Pros I don’t. Nothing. It is rare that I review something in a bad light. I tend to be fair. I gave this platform more than one year to interact. It came highly recommended to me by a trusted colleague. I am most disappointed. Cons Takes 10 min plus to open the app due to multiple firewalls. Notes are not straightforward to edit, cumbersome with edit only window opening prior to actual note that can be edited, all the info on the patient is lumped together (radiology, questionnaire, clinical notes, vital sign entries) and it is difficult to visualize relevant information. I like how simple it is and easy to use compared to other EMRs also used for other work places. Pros My favourite feature is that for note taking, the template is just like a Word document that macros can be added to for customizability. Makes the charting experience more seamless. Cons The only con is how long it takes to load Accuro when first signing in. It allows for better patient care, but also has some downfalls with freezing/ glitches. Pros This software is one that all of the 100+ doctors use in the area, as well as the walk in clinic. It has room for lots of information to be stored and easily accessed about the patient, and makes it easy to keep track of patients once they are in the clinic. I can bring up any sort of result in their virtual chart, as well as any medications, and fax them from Accuro to wherever I need. Cons Accuro seems to freeze, and have glitches more often than not. This is frustrating because we rely totally on Accuro for the operation of the clinics. Without accuro, we cant do much. HOWEVER for the last year each update has caused unforeseen problems. We have had to spend time, which we can ill afford, on the phone with support in an attempt to resolve the new problem. It happens with EVERY update. The programmers need to get with it and do the beta testing before they send it out to customers. Did QHR hire Microsoft Windows rejects? There is a clear lack of quality control at Accuro now. Pros I love that the interface is fairly straight forward and easy to follow. If you're decent as using computers, navigating through the interface is a breeze! I appreciate the tips and hot keys that they send out . Overall, I've been using this program for around 6 years now, I've seen the major face lift they've done from the older version. All in all, it just continuously becomes more and more convenient with every update. They definitely listen and regard the users opinion on their forums.
