I really like the Compute Copilot for Auto Scaling Groups feature. This has saved money for our AWS ECS clusters. I might consider looking at their EKS feature too. I would recommend nOps to other cloud teams. Pros I like the Compute Copilot for Auto Scaling Groups feature. We realized cost savings for our staging/development ECS cluster nodes. These were getting expensive. I appreciate the guidance from nOps during the setup process. There was a couple of setup issues, but nOps solved it pretty quickly Cons nOps dashboard needs work, but it looks like nOps recently improved the UI. It looks better. I would like to see architecture suggestions. The biggest savings comes from decommissioning old apps or re-architecting to a cheaper infrastructure. This has helped my clients achieve significant cost savings and improve their cloud infrastructure. Pros I really like how easy it is to use nOps and the multiple functionalities it provides. As a cloud consultant, I use nOps on a daily basis to provide cost optimization recommendations to my clients, as well as to help them identify potential security issues. Moreover, it has helped me in complying with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.What features are most impactful? Is the product easy to use? Was integration with your existing business processes easy?The most impactful features of nOps for me are the cost optimization and security functionalities. I find the product very easy to use and intuitive. Integrating it with my existing business processes was also very straightforward. Cons I think that some features could be improved, such as the dashboard interface, which could be more customizable. Additionally, there could be more detailed explanations of certain features to make them easier to understand.Are there features you feel are missing or could be improved? Cons I realized that, albeit nOps was capable of automatically identifying idle resources, the tool sometimes mistakenly identified even short-term peaks as idle time, for instance, during abnormal batch jobs. Cost optimization was also linked to the optimization of applications and functions that were used. What I liked a lot is the way it works and the Risk free guarantee, e.g. for the RDS database. The auto-scaling was perfect, which spread the cost savings over several instances. Not the last benefit is of course the cloud manageable platform which is fee free. I appreciate the look and feel of the app, which is user-friendly and there is an option to view the cost savings on an at-a-glance dashboard. Only one button can be used to analyze the infrastructure that is in the cloud. This app could be a life saver. Cons I don't have any objections to such an application, I just wondered if something like this is needed at all and the functionality couldn't be built into AWS itself. As for the deployment - no problems, user friendly, clear, I have no complaints. Meets expectations and delivers on promised features.
