"A fantastic rent collection software package!"
Overall: Schedule My Rent has allowed us to fully realize the ability to collect rent payments online where there didn't appear to be any other feasible option. The support team at Schedule My Rent is top notch and they are quite responsive. We're huge fans of Schedule My Rent and will continue to advocate for it. Our understanding is that the ownership is looking to continuously improve it, so we're excited to see how things shape up.
Pros: Schedule My Rent makes it simple and easy to manage rent collection for large, commercial properties. We particularly like the intuitive interface that allows you to quickly view the status of each unit and input additional fees, if needed. The ability to collect rent payments via MoneyGram (i.e., cash) is an incredibly valuable feature for us. Schedule My Rent provides everything that a landlord would need in order to effectively collect rent and ascertain the financial performance of their community at a reasonable price.
Cons: Currently, the landlord must invite tenants to set up their account on Schedule My Rent. This can create some confusion upon initial setup. The software doesn't currently allow for documents to be uploaded and associated with tenant accounts (utility bills, leases, etc.). Lastly, there does not appear to be a method to download invoices showing the amounts paid per transaction for the service cost.
"Exemplary Product & Support"
Overall: I rate my overall experience with Schedule My Rent as EXCEPTIONAL! This software has been a huge efficiency gain for our overall business operations, propelling us forward in using current and emerging technology to maximize the results of our efforts to continue to take efficiency and effectiveness to new levels.
Pros: I find this software very efficient, user-friendly and always adaptable as processes change and evolve with the needs of the business and as new procedures are implemented as a result of ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
Cons: The columns in the Unit View are sometimes difficult and confusing to clearly ascertain the status of an account. The view can be changed, however, by selecting which columns to view and which to hide, which is helpful.
"Very Limited Product"
Overall: This software has so many limitations and is made for not professional use. The report on the property profits/losses is not provided and cannot be used at all unless you want to confuse all the accountants. They charge the landlord's bank account to run the credit report for the tenant without the landlord's authorization. Customer service will never call you back because they have one person in customer service replying and often this person does not have the correct answer. This software needs a lot of improvements before it can be used!

"THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE AS A PROPERTY MANAGER"
Overall: The set up was fun and easy. I had about 95% implementation by Tenants the first month. Some were slightly challenged by the set up- but most had no issues. The customer service is wonderful. They are so helpful and receptive to suggestions to improve the product making it better for many different operational set ups.
Pros: The ability to control rent payments and have them go directly to various property owners' accounts.
Cons: The expense side is not as useful to my operation.
"Easy, Inexpensive, Time Saver"
Overall: I really enjoy not having to collect rent checks by mail and mobile depositing to my bank. This function alone makes the small monthly fee well worth it. Couple this with the application/background/credit check process, I plan to use this service for every future rental property I acquire.
Pros: The initial application/background/credit check function was a great service. In the past I was doing all of this manually and collecting a fee from prospective tenants and having to use another third party service. Schedulemyrent has this built in and collects the cost directly from the tenant, making the initial due diligence easier for me.
Cons: Website and software is user friendly and pretty easy to navigate. Would love to see an iPhone app in the future.
