“This is unfortunately a result of the biggest pro--because we could connect so many socials, the whole interface is very complicated to look at it was extremely difficult to train some of our less tech savvy staff on how to use it. If there was a way we could isolate an individual user to just see one aspect (eg our video editor to just see youtube) that would be very helpful.“

### "Top Tier Social Media Scheduler"

January 7, 2025

5.0

I have tried several other social media scheduling apps with the different companies I have worked for, and I always come back to . It's usability, cost, and customer service can't be beat!

Pros

This is a very user-friendly software for social media scheduling. It is easy to understand and even easier to share and approve between teams.

Cons

There is very little I dislike about . Occasionally due to privacy and connected social sites' log in changes, I will have to reconnect apps and reschedule posts that failed, but that doesn't happen frequently.

had a much cleaner interface and for the price, the features were comparable. The customer service on Loomly is significantly better than the other softwares I have tried as well.

### "Easy to use!"

January 21, 2025

5.0

It's a great service and it's so easy to use. I also really like that I don't have to keep re connecting my business accounts constantly. It just works.

Pros

Ease of use. It's very easy to set up, and get started immediately!

Cons

The only thing I don't like about it, is that it opens multiple windows when duplicating posts between calendars. I can see how this would be helpful for many users, however, It gums up my browser when I'm working for a whole month. But other than that I LOVE IT.

It was so expensive and complicated. It was a whole CRM and really had too much functionality for us. I was constantly re-hooking all the social media accounts to the Platform and it was also not posting videos on any of the social networks at all, so I had to go to each one and post them individually. I will never use their services again and will NOT recommend them.

### "Started great - predatory pricing and poor communication have turned it sour"

April 24, 2025

1.0

It started off very well. It has recently soured. I have reached out several times to try and get my content exported before the auto renewal and the support staff are not helping me get my content. It feels predatory and unkind to small businesses like mine.

Pros

I have been a customer for years managing my own social media and helping 1 or 2 small clients with occasional posting. I used to like how visual and simple the planning and posting process were.

Cons

raised my yearly price by 996% ($300/yr to $2988/yr) and only gave around 30 days notice for the price change. They did not allow me to export my content and have not proactively or clearly posted their pricing model. It feels as though they are holding my content hostage and now demanding I pay the equivalent of my last yearly fee to get my content before leaving their software.

### "Loomly is a great social media scheduling/managing tool"

August 27, 2024

Overall was great to use, it was easy to schedule, post and respond to comments. I really liked that I could schedule unlimited number of posts in the basic plan.

Pros

Cons

### "The best social media calendar for organization out there!"

October 13, 2020

5.0

My overall experience with has been positive. It's helped us save a TON of time when it comes to organizing social media posts. We wouldn't be able to keep up with the constant social media posting if it wasn't for Loomly!

Pros

helps us create and organize all of our social media posts in one easy-to-use calendar. We can schedule Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and more social posts in the Loomly platform. I love the calendar view, where we can easily see all of our social posts in one section. I also love that you can drag-and-drop to quickly reschedule certain posts, making it very easy to organize and plan out our calendar. The auto-posting function is great, where it automatically publishes your posts to your social media accounts, saving us time and energy. There is also a great approval system where you can submit your posts for review if another coworker in your company would like to review them first before publishing.

Cons

I don't love that doesn't integrate with Instagram. Loomly can automatically publish your social posts to Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin, but it doesn't connect to Instagram. You have to go through another 3rd party website called Zapier which costs money and is a little complicated to set up (it's also very glitchy in our experience). So we still have to manually publish our Instagram posts each day.

Switched from

[Google Docs](https://www.capterra.com/p/160756/Google-Docs/)

We originally were using Google Docs to create and plan out our social media posts, which did not work at all. We were creating new Google Docs each week, and commenting our edits on each post. There was a lot of back-and-forth communication between coworkers that needed to happen to just get one post approved and published. It was very inconvenient and messy. helped us solve all that by having the calendar function, easy approval process, commenting section, and the automatic publishing feature too.

### "Manage Social for multiple companies across many different social media platforms"

June 18, 2024

5.0

It has been wonderful. 10/10 would recommend.

Pros

I was looking for a company that offered content scheduling for multiple companies with approval processes in place to aid in workplace collaboration. I also like being able to view metrics for multiple platforms in one place. I have integrated it with Canva to make transferring new posts easier. I also like the hashtag collections and trending hashtag suggestions.

Cons

I feel that I'm now at one with . Hootsuite et al are too much for me, I don't need their stress-inducing interfaces. Just a simple, powerful scheduler.

Pros

That it's reliable and is clearly designed and maintained - and supported - by real, decent human beings who want to provide a great service. I like to be able to move posts with just a drag of a block. I love the 'per channel' customisation too.

Cons

### "Perfect Solution for Agencies With Many Accounts"

February 28, 2022

5.0

Great solution for social media content scheduling, brainstorming and collaborating. It does not have the same robust set of tools as some other social media management platforms but it gives us most of what we need.

Pros

The collaboration and ability to manage multiple accounts within one platform is critical for our work as a social media agency. We need to be able to collaborate and communicate internally as well as with our clients to be able to work effectively. This is the perfect solution for us and we love that our client is able to approve a post and we get a notification on our phone that allows us to schedule the post immediately. This makes us so much more efficient.

Cons

Scheduling posts is a bit clunky because you have to have absolutely everything ready to go in order to schedule the post. It would make much more sense if you were able to start a post as an idea and then come back later to flesh it out. Although you technically can do that within the platform, there is no way to indicate that the post is incomplete which can confuse other collaborators. Overall, this is not a huge deal but it is inconvenient.

### "Outstanding platform built for Social Media experts by social media experts"

October 18, 2019

5.0

is by far the best tool for solving client approvals. Clients love the simplicity and sometimes even take to the platform in the form of creating suggested content for you. That's unreal! No other platform can deliver value like that: clients refuse to learn new systems. Loomly constantly ads new features ... totally free. Make the most of them and become your office super start. These features are: publishing to Google My Business, storing hashtag lists, content writing tips and more any more.

Pros

Extremely reliable platform that will help you make more money as it will handle some of your most time consuming worries like client content suggestions, client approvals, and flexible scheduling. The level of feedback us unreal and every piece of advice is delivered exactly when you need it.

Cons

There are many extra tools included for free like reporting, link tracking and community management. Those features won't replace your dedicated tools, but they aren't intended too either.

### "We love Loomly!"

September 30, 2019

4.0

has helped us redesign our content management and scheduling process. We are a small team of three and using Loomly has made our work flow efficient. From brainstorming, building social media posts, uploading art/media, to publishing we use Loomly step-by-step. It's publishing tool is reliable, and we are in love with the master calendar view that helps keep our three closely related brands stay organized.

Pros

We love the Master Calendar View. The direct publishing is reliable. Plenty of tools that help keep posts organized by category, publishing stage, and schedule.

Cons

It seems like this software could use a little more polishing when it comes to user interaction. The navigation among views and pages is still a little clunky and requires a little extra back and forth. Other amenities would be helpful, as well. We would love to see Instagram direct publishing become available, and the ability to tag Facebook Events would be outstanding.

### "The best platform to professionally manage publishing on social media"

March 14, 2023

5.0

With , the management of our accounts on social networking sites became more professional, as the publishing mechanism was organized and its timings were set accurately, and we were able to obtain accurate statistics for the level of interaction. This helped us a lot in making many improvements that contributed to increasing our ability to achieve positive results.

Pros

I like the simplicity of the interface in , which enables us to find all the tools, move between sections, and perform tasks effortlessly. I also like that there are so many powerful features that allow us to sync calendars, set up ads, add links, and post in hashtag templates. Scheduling is excellent in Loomly, as we were able to synchronize publications on various platforms. Also, due to the full integration with all social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram, we have a great ability to manage publishing and follow-up accounts from a central platform in complete harmony. It also helps us to have a box to collect all messages received for ease of filtering and answering them with the participation of the rest of the members according to their specialties. It is also great to have dashboards and reports that explain the analyses in detail and provide us with a lot of statistics that show the levels of participation in our publications, which show us the extent of our success in reaching the target groups.

Cons

is unique, and I did not encounter any complications or problems during use, as it was not expensive to obtain all the features, and their service team provides the required assistance quickly.

### "valuable tool for streamlining our social media management."

April 7, 2023

5.0

Using , we've been able to keep our company's social media accounts free from clutter by scheduling posts on various platforms in advance. The Loomly also allows us to effectively manage our interactions with followers, monitor comments, and use advanced analytics to determine the optimal times for posting.

Pros

With , scheduling posts on all social media platforms, and monitoring and interacting with followers are all possible on one platform. Customizing posts for each platform is also made easy with Loomly's unique features, which allow for the same content to be changed for different platforms and accounts, creating a single post for all social channels without duplicating them. Loomly also allows for manual posting in cases where automated posting is not possible. The share draft feature is useful, as all members can directly review and approve drafts. I also love the dashboards, as they are easy to set up and offer interesting insights.

Cons

The negatives are somewhat limited; the interface needs more updating, as I find it a bit messy, and work should also be done to simplify the process of publishing longer videos on various platforms.

### "Tried every SMM tool and landed on this one"

February 11, 2021

5.0

I literally tried every single social media management tool on the market (Hootsuite, buffer, later, Zoho Social, YOU NAME IT). It took months but I couldn't find one that managed BOTH Instagram and Google My Business (in addition to Facebook, and Twitter) and provided a robust analytics platform. Finally I tried and WOW it has everything I was looking for! All of the social media platforms, the ability to create different calendars for my clients, calendar views which I use for planning, post suggestions, hashtag management, direct publishing to Instagram without having to use a third party like Zapier. It's the dream and I'm happy to pay the price tag for peace of mind.

Pros

You can setup multiple calendars with multiple accounts for each (I use this for client management) and you get to switch between a calendar view and a list view for planning content. They have an ideas section that just lists different ideas for posts which is super useful if you're planning your month and what to see what special days are coming up, etc. They also have a hashtag suggestion feature which is outstanding. Not only can you store groups of hashtags you use frequently, but they actually show the reach of each hashtag you use so you can judge its effectiveness before using it. The best newest feature? YOU CAN PUBLISH DIRECTLY TO INSTAGRAM! (No Zapier integration! YAY!) Total gamechanger.

Cons

I wish there was a way to organize media files. Right now you can assign them to categories you create or arrange them by published and not published. But folders would be nice to move evergreen stuff into its own place or filter out content that's time dependent and won't be used again for a year.

### "Manage all the social media platform effectively"

June 10, 2021

Pros

is all about the very details analytics report that they can produce from all the medial social account that i am monitoring. It can be customized to show only details or filter that i needed. Scheduling time for the content to be posted on the same time for all the platform is very easy.

Cons

There are many of the features that are available before but not available anymore. We used to be able to included Instagram to the schedule post, but it is not possible no more and Instagram is one of the biggest social media platform that we had. ### "Great For Social Media Scheduling"

May 15, 2019

4.0

The overall experience has been wonderful. My only negative feedback is the inability to auto-post with Instagram unless you have a Buffer account. I'd also like to customize what steps I take when scheduling. (For example, I always skip the "audiences/filters" feature when scheduling for Facebook, and I'd like the option to get rid of that step entirely because I won't use it for my clients.) Otherwise, the interface is smooth, easy-to-use and learn, and helps me write and schedule content more efficiently.

Pros

I LOVE that you can write the content once and then tailor each set of copy for each social media channel. For example, the exact same copy that works for Facebook doesn't always work for Instagram & Twitter. With , you can write it once and then go into each platform and customize your content to include hashtags, shorten links, etc. You can also upload custom photos for each platform. Other social media schedulers only allow for one set of copy across all the platforms you choose, making it cumbersome and time-consuming when you have multiple platforms to schedule.

Cons

I cannot stand the fact that you have to also have a Buffer account to enable auto-posting with Instagram. I really, really wish they'd figure out a way to allow auto-posting instead of getting push notifications on my phone without having to have a Buffer account. I don't want to have to pay for two social media schedulers. would be nearly perfect if not for that huge flaw.

### "I like this product"

November 20, 2023

4.0

Overall, it's a good product and my favourite scheduling app to use, and I've used them all.

Pros

The approval workflow is probably the main reason why I suggested as a scheduling platform. Having post set up and approvals within the same platform not only streamlines, but also makes sure approvals aren't missed.

Cons

The interface can be a bit clunky sometimes, and occasionally it doesn't load very well for me. Cropping photos in compresses them a ton, and we lose a lot of the quality of the image. I think this would be the only 'complaint' I have, as I have to crop everything in Photoshop before uploading to Loomly.

### "Great app!"

July 29, 2019

5.0

Great to be able to schedule content across all my platforms - I spend a few hours a week creating posts which schedule automatically for the whole week. After using Hootsuite for several years I've now replaced it with /Buffer - and although I'm paying more than double I think it's worth it for the ability to create better looking posts.

Pros

Love this app - particularly how it helps you write better content. Ability to adapt the post in full for each platform & the helpful hints & tips and hashtag counts are fantastic. The biggest bonus is the app tells you the prime times and days of the week to post so you dont put content out at a bad time and can really create a bespoke plan for the week. Very little to say that is not a massive positive other than having to use Buffer as well is a bit of a pain and I dont like the calendar.

Cons

Cost - it is more than I'd like to pay especially when I also need to pay for Buffer alongside it. I dont like the way the calendar is set up - it's not clear to see what posts are going out every day, I try to mix up the content for each platform across the week and after you've done several schedules and want to go back to check what you did it becomes tough to see what's posting where.

Reason for choosing Loomly

Ease of use with the free trial, user interface is great and very easy to get started. Pricing would be good if it was a bit lower to compete with Hootsuite - I've gone from paying for 1 app to now having to pay for and Buffer - if you priced about $10-15 a month lower I think you'd get loads more users exponentially because there is lots on offer for businesses with a full media team and big bucks but very little option for smaller businesses like ours who struggle to justify spending $100 a month on a scheduler.

Hi Nikki, Thank you very much for your review, this is immensely helpful. It means a lot to read that Loomly saves you time and helps you create better posts. As far as seeing your upcoming posts, may I ask if you had a chance to use the "Post Overview" & "On The Radar" widgets on your dashboard, which let you see at a glance the posts that require your attention on the short term? I can confirm that we are doing everything in our power to bring Instagram direct publishing to Loomly as soon as feasible. Please let our team know if we can assist you with anything. Sincerely, Thibaud, CEO of Loomly.

### "A great platform to help you manage your social profiles"

February 18, 2023

4.0

offers quite good services for the management of social profiles. I like the fact that I can work with my team and receive real-time notifications. I also like the content suggestion. It's very useful when you're in need of inspiration. I invite you to try Loomly, you will not be disappointed

Pros

is an excellent platform for managing social networks. It supports the majority of social networks, especially the most popular. Loomly's board is super simple and intuitive. It's easy enough to learn, even for beginners. The integration of different social profiles is also quite easy. But despite this simplicity, Loomly offers a lot of features that allow us to manage our profiles properly. The platform offers features such as publishing calendars, content suggestions, team collaboration, performance analysis, and comment monitoring. Content suggestion and team collaboration are two assets that are not found in all other competitors. The content suggestion makes it even easier for us, especially when we are in need of inspiration. In short, Loomly is a platform that I strongly recommend

Cons

The platform is not free and can be quite expensive, depending on the different features you need
