Cons The support you get is pretty awful for the money they charge. If you can't support your customers it's not worth it. It makes bill pay for our clients very easy. They love the ability to see all their bills on one screen and the ability to pick and choose which ones to approve. There are not quirks to it but their customer service is outstanding. They always have the answers. I deposit in the bank and then Bill.com bounced their own check. So began my adventure from hell trying to find a human being at Bill.com to solve this problem. This company has been designed from the ground up to frustrate and anger anyone with a problem. If you need help,you aren't getting it from Bill.com. DO NOT USE this service. Pros Nothing - absolutely nothing. Didn't work when I needed it. Cons Using it. This company is designed such that if you have a problem, you are on your own to fix it. Accounting Used the software for: ### "Bill.Com streamlines accounts payable" May 16, 2015 5.0 We have found that Bill.com accounts payable function and electronic payment fuction has saved us both money and time in processing our payables. Will be looking to increase our usage during the coming 6 months and possibly add accounts receivable to this platform as well. Pros Simple, easy to use and integrate with QuickBooks. Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Intentional Slow Pay by Bill.com" November 1, 2017 1.0 Pros As an app it is fine but the intentional delay of funds to tje reciever is unacceptable. Cons This service floats ACH payments for seven days that can be processed in 24 hours in order to inflate thier cash flow. The Automated Clearing House system provides for 24 hour turn around on payments and Bill.com is delaying them by seven (7) days so they can use the inbound cash to inflate their balance sheet through delaying the remitance to the recieving party by seven days. If you have one bank account and do everything right it is easy. If you answer the questions wrong and have to verify your identity it might make you decide to forgo using bill.com altogether. It provides paperless storage of, and anywhere access to vendor bills/payments. Also perfect for a bill/bill payment authorization process for employees involved in the process who are in different locations. What ILike about it is that it makes bills payments and approvals easier and faster and of course, it’s user friendly. Cons It’s just that the customer service is not that good. April 17, 2018 5.0 Bill.com has cut down the time for bill processing and our vendors get paid faster with epayments. Also, the approver can approve the bills remotely, even on a mobile device. Pros I love the streamlining of bill processing and creating recurring bills so we can see what is scheduled. Epayments have cut down on our paperwork. Cons Would like the ability for the vendor to see more than one page. Sometimes invoices are multiple pages and we have to send it to them via email. I have discontinued my use because my clients have requested this. The software design has caused me more work because I have to correct the balance all the time. Not a user friendly software. Basically, if you have an issue, the time to solve the problem is extensive if you can find someone who knows what to do. Definitely, do not get this service! It is easy to set up and saves so much time. I don't know why every medium sized business doesn't use this app. I recommend it to most of my small business clients who have joined the 21st Century and want to automate their payables and receivables online. From an accounting and fraud issue, I like how you can route bills for approval, store and share documents, send invoices via email or snail mail, pay, and charge customers via ACH or credit card for a smaller fee that doing it yourself. From a time management, I like how my clients can approve and pay bills online Pay directly to a vendor's bank account, or have Bill.com print and mail a check for you. Bill.com does have good functionality and workflows. Cons It's so costly. Compared to the other tools and software my firm uses with our clients, Bill.com is quite expensive. To the point that I only use it when a client has no other way to accomplish what they need to.
