### "Just simple SMTP2GO"

Since day one it was an easy set up and transition. When I need help they are there and have gone out of the way to provide support even for some of my dumb questions. I don't give 5 starts a lot, but they deserve it.

Pros

I have been using SMTP2GO for over 7 years now and it is the top tier vendor in the industry. Their system just works — no weird quirks, no random delays, no headaches. The network is solid and consistent, which is the biggest thing I look for with any outbound email provider, and they nail it. Their dashboard/portal is probably one of the cleanest and easiest I’ve used. You don’t have to dig through ten layers of menus just to find what you need. Everything is laid out in a way that makes sense, and you can tell they actually thought about the user experience instead of just throwing features at you. Support is top-notch. Every time I’ve reached out, they’ve responded fast and with actual helpful info — not canned replies or copy/paste answers. You can tell their team knows what they’re doing and takes pride in it. As for security, they have that locked down. It is well worth the money. Overall, SMTP2GO has been a rock-solid addition to my stack. Reliable delivery, great tools, and a support team that actually cares. Hard to beat that mix.

Cons

I really do not have any issues with SMTP2go. They have a simple thing to do and they do it well. No down sides.

### "SMTP2Go - not suitable for my business"

I've paid the US$ 10 for some time now but seldom use the service. When I do use it, I have to answer many questions about the source, upkeep and legitimacy of my databases. Surely if I have explained it once, I don't need to do it again? I may as well use Outlook without a bulk email facility. I have the same issue, but a US$0 cost per month. You can keep your voucher. I won't be using the service again, regardless of the response.

Pros

I thought that the reporting was a highlight, but I have subsequently confirmed that it is inaccurate (emails flagged as "hard bounced" were in fact delivered, read and responded to).

Cons

Without warning, the system throttles the send, leading to costly delays in sending out time sensitive legal notices - the entire point of using a bulk email service is to send emails out, in bulk, with a quick turnaround time supported by accurate and timely reporting. THIS SERVICE OFFERS NONE OF THAT!!!

Experience has been good so far. I would love to have better analytics and data export features so that I can perform product analytics on our side. The SMTP is used by us for an M2M devices integration so perhaps a little more support for the hardware non-human use cases where volumes matter.

Pros

SMTP2GO makes managing the SMTP email sending from our camera hardware devices out in the field easier to manage from a single platform.

Cons

1\. I am noticing recently there are delays up to an hour in sending some of our mails 2. I would like the functionality to either auto or manually reprocess mails that may have bounced or had errors etc.

My experience has been smooth, no issues at all. The service has always been reliable, and my emails always get delivered immediately. Set it and forget it, and enjoy reliable email delivery!

Pros

Email deliverability is excellent, and emails arrive in inboxes in seconds. SMTP2Go is much more affordable than many of their competitors, and the price per thousand emails gets better as you go, no "success tax" here. Integrating with WordPress / WooCommerce is extremely easy, both through their official plugin, or through third party email plugins. Easy to setup your account, manage your emails, and check delivery status statistics.

Cons

Be aware that SMTP2Go focuses on sending emails. Although a few (expensive) services offer both sending and receiving/inboxes, usually they focus on sending only. I recommend using SMTP2Go and then pairing with a dedicated inbox service, or you can even run Thunderbird or other open source programs for your inboxes.

It only took an hour to be fully up and running with SMTP2GO. Whenever I've experienced an issue support has been able to remediate the issue in a timely manner.

Pros

The ease of use. We have a mixture of devices that were having trouble with authenticating with Office 365. Since moving to SMTP2GO it has allowed us to change over every on-premise device that can send notifications the ability to do so. It has also allowed us to disable Direct Send to mitigate the chance of malicious use.

Cons

The only con is there is no Single Sign-On option. We are wanting to move all SaaS based apps to SSO if possible.

We have customers using MS365 and sometimes its difficult and/or unreiable to use SMTP relay with it and older equipment (scanners and notification systems). SMTP fixes that in a easy to use cost effective manner

Pros

Easy to use, great pricing, flexible at working with practically any system that sends emails and powerful feature set

Cons

We haven't found any negative about smtp2go. in fact there is even a free tier that we used for a while before we had enough usage requiring a service fee.

A great cloud solution for our company and business for SMTP. Works great with our multiple ERP systems, printers, and many other software packages. An ease to sort out the different usages. A very responsive and highly intelligent tech support team. For a Senior Systems Administrator, I need a knowledgeable tech support team. These folks are on top of this and response time is very fast, 95% efficient if not 98.9% efficient and responsive. When they did the research for an advanced issue topic they responded back within a very short acceptable reasonable amount of time with a solid solution or explanation. The reporting limitations are very easy to work around. The pricing monthly and when you go over the reasonableness of the pricing is unbeatable. We look forward to a long and great relationship with SMTP2GO.com.

Pros

Eave of setup and configuration. A very nice web front end, easy to understand and administer, 2FA, MFA!

Cons

Not able to access data after a small window of time, would like a larger window of time for data extracts.

PERFECT! This is probable the only company that I have every been in partners with that does everything they say they can and would do.

Pros

I'm the Scada Administrator for an Independent Oil & Gas producer, we have a large scale Scada Ssytem. We monitor and control oil and gas producing wells and storage locations across 4 states, some of which are in very remote locations. To make all this work we created our own Cellular Private Network and we use "Text Messaging" as a means for all of our support people to receive real-time alarms. We needed to be able to send Text Messages across various Internet Providers, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Cricket, Etc.. To make this feature work we needed the ability to have our emails converted to the "Text-Messaging" protocol and SMTP2GO provided this service. They also have the means to trouble shoot why a message may have not been delivered and report on timing issues to receive the message. Easy to use and learn. Very affordable. Reports offer everything you could ask for. Their service has been "Top-Notch" very fast response with a solution to the problem. Security is state of the art, could ask for none better. I would and have recommended "SMTP2GO" to anybody that needs RELIABLE "State-of-the-Art" email/text messaging service. They have a plan that will fit any budget. I sending out about 10,000 emails, text messages a month and have not ad the first problem. I don't know what I would do without "SMTP2GO". GREAT COMPANY To WORK WITH!

I had very pleasant experience working with SMTP2Go, it saved lot of manual efforts and improved the productivity. Its dashboard made sure that the notifications reached customers on time.

Pros

SMTP2Go is the most reliable email exchange with ton of customisation and monitoring. I really like the fact that it can send emails with higher limits when compared to outlook. And it's dashboard interface with realtime user activities tracker is very useful.

Cons

It's features and customer support are good and consistent. But it could be improved. It could have a contact database in its server, which could make the integration better. And there is no much testing on analysing Emails.

Before we used SMTP2Go as our outgoing SMTP Smart-Host, we would get many bounced emails based on poor IP-reputation from other unrelated servers in our public-IP subnet. This issue plagued us when sending to Live.com, Hotmail.com, etc. That's a SERIOUS problem. SMTP2Go has completely solved that problem for us due to their excellent IP-reputation and powerful infrastructure. We LOVE SMTP2Go!

Pros

Rapid support response, excellent outgoing email reputation (no blocked emails), easy set-up, and crazy-low pricing!

Cons

As a senior software engineer, you'd think I would have at least one Con for SMTP2Go--but I don't. They're just that good...

### "The only company that would provide the service we need"

We have spikes in our emailing that most other providers could not accept. As a school we send out regular reports to parents and these have always been sent by one user as fast as the system could produce them. We may have 2,000 emails going out from the server at regular intervals very quickly and no other smtp service would accept this as it looked like spam to them.

Pros

What we need was a service that would not impose limits on emails per user or per hour. With SMTP2go we simply set a monthly maximum for the whole school.

Cons

My only complaint, and I'm told it may be addressed in future, is that I cannot set a common footer for every user. The footers have to be set individually for each user, which is a chore when the footer has to be changed.

Overcoming ISP email monthly and daily limitations at a modest cost. Not more I can say to that is there?

Pros

No limits on the number of emails you can send from your email client. Overcomes the email limitations of many ISPs. Good metrics and support if there are issue with blacklisting. They are strict that only opt-in listsare used and that there are clear opt-out instructions.

Cons

Nothing. It does what it says on the tin. Sometimes there can be issues with blacklisting, but support always are responsive and help fix the issue quickly.

BIPAC would not be able to do business without SMTP2Go. If we had to switch to another vendor it would require a significant time expense to have our developers rebuild applications and then to create the level of analytics provided by your platform.

Great analytics and openness of the platform. It provides us a lot of intelligence for how our messages are sent to companies and government officials.

It seems expensive for our monthly contract as compared to other solutions in the marketplace (e.g. mailgun).

We host with another company and our email was being flagged as spam and never delivered. After many hours with them all they could suggest was that i upgrade my account so i did some research and found SMTP2GO and now we use them to send all our email.

For me there are no cons it works all the time.

I don't use alot of the features - I use it for setting up all my Multi Function Devices at customers site - with IP authentication makes scan to email setups super simple. No more hassleing with getting the ISP of choice SMTP server to talk. Enter smtp to go and walk away. LOVE IT. Also make life simple for IMAP/POP mail users to send from everywhere - Yes this can be setup - but SMTP2GO just makes it easier - and then I am off to the next job. When I have needed support - customer email going wild (spammy virus) support was awesome!

Cons

Well if it was completely free that is always better... But life doesn't work that way

We are an IT Service Provider and are using SMTP2GO for many of our clients. Mostly to send out emails on the local Mail Server but also for any custom build software which needs email sending functionality. SMTP2GO has proven to be rock solid. In all he years, we have never looked anywhere else. And if there is an issue such as a bad IP, their support is super fast and always got the issue sorted on first try.

Pros

It's extremely simple to get started, the software is straight forward and offers all the features we need.

Cons

I didn't find any cons for this software.

Reason for choosing SMTP2GO

SMTP2GO had the best overall packages and was so easy to use. And my questions got almost installed answered.

Our main client is a animal welfare NGO. They have experienced some issues in balancing service quality with budget. Some of the test/ support features that a fully commercial operation might have access to have yet to happen. Rick - our usual support person has done a really wonderful job of getting us through a few roadblocks Hope the team feels our appreciation

Overall I'm very satisfied with SMTP2GO. Our email volume is around 30k per month and SMTP2GO can easily handle it without any downtime or lag.

Pros

SMTP2GO is very easy to use. You can make multiple ID/Pwds for different IPs and servers and can route emails via it.

Cons

The reporting feature is very basic and you need to export your data into excel/csv to properly filter or search it.

Pros

SMTP2GO has been reliable, straightforward with billing, and responsive to my issues. Their pricing is also flexible for lulls and surges of service requirements.

Cons

No complaints. Honest! It works. It's fairly priced. ...and they are there when I need them. One minor con... Their summary reporting of email status isn't ideal for large deliveries. I believe they could use a redesign. I'm sure they know it and are probably working on one.

easy to use, have the proper tools to diagnose an email flow issue. reporting is quick to get the results.

Cons

when an issue occurs, cant call support. it would be nice to speak with a tech on the phone. have to wait for emails. email could be down.
