The TPG Groups iinet and Westnet ISP in West Australia is just abysmal at the moment and the ISPs have ZERO intention of supporting clients even when the service is proven to fail. Pros Price, ease of use and setup. Brilliant. Cons Downside is the lack of automated options for fails. SPAM, soft or hard bounces have to all be manually created. So far a real pain. I feel condifent SMTP2GO is going to do exactly what we need. Pros The SMTP server worked exactly as advertised with very helpful documentation. If you're curious whether or not the system will work for you, check their setup guides. They list dozens and dozens of possible use cases. Pros Support from SMTP2GO is really quick, 24/7. Getting it working with Postfix was straightforward. Additionally, using their service helped us accomplish our goals. Cons One feature doesn't seem to be working in the manner it should be. However, we're still working with them on that, but it doesn't directly affect the service at this point. May 15, 2019 4.0 I using SMTP2Go through GroupMail so I am not sure who is responsible for what at the end Pros easy to use and setup. Not too expensive Cons bouncing emails are not well explained, I sent many times emails to the same list, but constantly having more and more bouncing emails. To me this is odd, it is not explained and honestly I am not even sure if that is trackable and up to SMTP2GO. October 26, 2018 4.0 I managed to use it for a good number of times and every time it offered me decent delivery rates. Pros The only good thing about it is they give decent delivery rate inspite of not being a "big gun" SMTP service. Cons They encourage only transactional email sending and if you want any other emailing (promotional, product update, etc.) the customer support would ask you to upgrade to the dedicated IP plan. Pros We started using this at a client of mine after a move to Office 365. Some of their older gear would not allow us to put in usernames/passwords. This has been a great solution for us to use and it is not very expensive either. Cons There is nothing wrong with this service. It fits a nice niche for us right now. Pros It is quick and easy to use. I basically do not have to worry about the size of my groups or how many I include in an email blast. Cons Not being a teckee it took me a while to figure out how to set it up, but I did get it set up with guidance from your support.
