Photographer Photography Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Help your clients visualize your work on their walls" September 1, 2023 5.0 One of the best things is just giving client examples of what they could do with their art. Creating some collages to show in my client guides or on my website help prime them to look around their home to see what space they have and start visualizing wall art before their session! Pros Swift Galleries has the option to get really detailed with the types of wall art and frames available to show your clients. Even if you just set up some simple canvas collage options and start there, it's so much easier to help your clients visualize their images in a collection. You don't have to have every single frame option you offer customized into SG. Start simple. Don't overwhelm yourself or you will overwhelm your client. Cons A few more drag and drop options would be great in terms of gallery design, dropping in photos to products and not having to click "resize" to resize art. A few less clicks is always helpful. I don't utilize the direct send to lab option. I am a pet photographer and will color correct images first, but wait to do heavier editing like removing leashes after clients select their wall art. It means the world to us that you'd take your time to give us feedback. Sounds like you're using Swift Galleries in a few different ways, which is fantastic! If you're not using the keyboard shortcuts in the designer, that might help you speed up your workflow quite a bit and cut back on those extra clicks (ex: click the "r" key to resize, hit the return key to commit changes, etc.). To clarify, we don't offer direct fulfillment with any labs at this time. Studio Manager Photography Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Opportunities to improve photo selecting" August 30, 2023 4.0 Pros Love the slideshow feature, the "yes/no" viewing option, and the viewing multiple at a time option. Cons I wish there was a "maybe" option for the Choose Images. I also wish there was a color or star rating option for the Compare Images so that we can sub-sort their favorite images to order different products. I also wish there was an option to see 6, 8, or 10 images at one time between two lines (I usually just zoom in and out of the web page to get this same effect). I also wish you can choose to compare 2 or 4 images on one screen on the Compare Images tab. Sometimes our black and white photos have a red tint in Swift Galleries as well, which is bad because that is not our creative edit on those photos. I dislike how in the Compare Images screen that the counter at the top is not accurate -- many times have we gone through the Choose Images and accidentally missed selecting "yes," so there are more images in the "yes" pile than counted at the top. Lastly, sometimes the photos on the Design gallery are hard to see as there is no way to zoom in to the "display" they are on. Certain rooms work better for this than others just because of how easily and clearly you can see the photos on the fake walls. I love that I can sign in on any device no matter where I'm at. This allows for much more freedom and less worry on whether or not my client can come to me. I love that there are a tone of tutorials and that you're walked through step by step on how to use Swift Galleries and how to make that sale. I love that the Owners are involved and continuously strive to make it better and address their clients feedback. I also love that if you have a question, they are prompt in answering it and will work with you until you have it down. Pros There is so much about Swift Galleries that prompted me to stick with them. Such as: Easy to learn A great way to keep track of client/appointments Allows you to insert your own slideshow Creates easy to read receipts - and automatically emails it to the client Helps create a seamless transition from reveal to order purchases Provides beautiful room templates to show off wall art Has the ability to take credit card information and process the transaction for you There are step by step tutorials provided to help learn how to use everything. Allows you to log in on any device/wherever you are because it's all online, instead of being a program that's downloaded to a certain desktop/laptop. Cons There is no way at this moment to customize the receipt that the client receives. While it does provide a basic slideshow through it, there's no way to set music to it (but it does make up for this by allowing you to upload your own slideshow instead). Also I can’t say enough about how helpful, dedicated and genuine customer support is but also being real humans through their business which is refreshing and builds trust! Pros It addresses the WHOLE process of in person sales while also eliminating the need for investing in as many samples (or any at all). The print maker system has so many educational resources as well as tips and templates that have benefitted my business beyond just sales. Few clicks and you know exactly where you are or where you need to go to find your way around the software. Things don't need to be complicated to WORK! And when you have clients in the studio, the last thing you need is to fumble with finding your way around software. Kudos on simplified intuitive design! Cons I wish there was an album design/show option incorporated. BUT, I know this isn't what the software does and it's not something I ever held against it. I have been using the software for 3 years now and it has helped me increase my average sale! Customers are happy with what I propose through the software and buy it! Pros Swift Galleries really makes my business stand out. Customers are WOWed when I show them their walls and the new photographs arranged in the perfect size and configuration. I plug my laptop into their tv via an HDMI cable. During the sales session, we are able to make changes to the configuration and they pick the exact images they want on their walls. Swift Galleries allows me to sell exactly what the client wants--the ultimate service! The industry insiders will tell you to buy ProSelect. But they have been in business for years (when ProSelect was the only option) and have their workflows built around ProSelect (which, frankly, is cumbersome.) They have no reason to try something new. But now, we have options! Swift Galleries is affordable, and easy to use, and works for today's photographers. An added bonus is the training and facebook group support that is included. You have regular access to the couple who built the software. They answer questions, host live video chats, answer questions and provide real support! And they are great people! Cons One challenge that I haven't figured out yet is how to save the wall designs that we create in sales mode--like when a customer wants to choose from option A, B or C. This gives the clients a perfect visual of how products will appear in the home, which improves the chance of a sale. They also have several resources for how to create the mockups and how to systematize the entire sales process. Cons When receiving an email from Swift Galleries, the photo icon is of the owners rather than from the photo studio. If I were to change one thing from this service, it would be to have the ability to customize the google display image from the email and also the design format of the email to access the mockups. Cutomer reps are amazing to work with and I would definitely recommend this software to other photographers. Pros I love the ability to be able to not only take my clients' rooms into the software and place collages onto them, but to also be able to do it on stock photos as well. Sometimes my clients will be building a house, painting a wall, etc. and won't be able to provide me with a room photo just yet, so it's helpful to have the stock photo option. I also love the ability to calibrate the sizes of the wall compared to the collages, etc. Cons The functionality when it comes to inputting new products - I find that a little tricky and difficult. Also, on the designer page where you can add photos, it would be nice to be able to add multiple photos to that area at once. February 26, 2019 5.0 I highly recommend swift galleries, it has increased my sales by helping clients visualize what their wall art will look like. Customer service is prompt and excellent and their online tutorials and resources are excellent. Pros I love being able to create mock ups of collections prior to meeting with clients to show them what their options are. Being able to then tweak them to the specifications that day increases my sales. The invoice creation is excellent. My first wall art sale was $3400 (previous averages were around $1300). The best description I can give is my client saying at the end " I really liked being able to see it all together, it made spending this much money much more comfortable". Cons Moving through it is not as intuitive as I would like. Parts seem a bit clunky. Having said that the cons no where outweigh the negative and the value for what you get is amazing. Helps me feel confident in my products. Pros It is really amazing. It just makes it so easy to show clients how it will look. No guess work and after I print and hang it it looks just like the mock up. My clients usually buy one or more galleries. Cons Sometimes my images are all jumbled on the left hand side when I go to choose an image to place ina frame. But I back out and go back and it is fixed. I'm so glad that the Swift Galleries tool is easy to use; there are little things more frustrating than spending time fighting with software. We have had some photographers mention the jumbled images on the Photos panel/tab. What you can do, instead of backing out and back in, is resize your browser window (just click and drag a side or corner). It only needs to be resized one pixel (or more) and the whole page reloads/redraws itself. That's been a fix that works for everyone but I know it's not as ideal as everything drawing correctly. We're rebuilding the designer from the ground up and I have my fingers crossed that this will be the fix! (Update should be released in 2019 for this.) PL Peter L. So all the fancy software needs to serve a purpose. When I started using Swift Galleries, my average print sale more than doubled. And my clients thought it was the coolest thing. So I’m giving a better experience and making more money with less effort. That, plus Swift does it all at a MUCH more reasonable price than some of its way overpriced competitors. Pros Ease of use. Ability to show any product I want. Built in payment system. Cons Needing to be connected to the internet. I do sales at clients homes and it’s a hassle to always need wifi. I can tether to my cell phone but if there’s bad reception then I need to rely on my client’s internet connection. The team is very passionate and I believe that they will do great things with it. I know there are other options out there for this kind of software and I am just not convinced that this is the best option. It is however, a very solid option. Pros The best thing about this is the team. They are very responsive and reach out to give you information. It has all the basic items that you would need in order to show clients photos and I love being able to create mock ups of what to show my clients. Cons It would be great if it had a project option. Also, it is a bit clunky to get used to, definitely have a few dry runs before you use it with clients! Also, it is a bit difficult to load in prices if they don't already have them available. It's the perfect systemised tool for presenting your portraits and getting orders immediately. But I literally am using two different softwares currently to make it work for my process. I would love to only use Swift. But I need those other functions. Pros I love the wall gallery building ability. It’s wonderful. Cons It doesn’t have a built in slideshow option. There are now work arounds, but it’s not the same. Also, the selecting images during an in person meeting is not functional for me. I need to be able to sort yes, no, maybe. I had not done an in person sales without Swift Galleries, so I don't know what it would be like to sell without it, but my first 4 sales with Swift Galleries have totaled $6,000, which more than pays for the software. Pros Just about everything about this software is amazing. It allows clients to see their images on their walls at the size(s) that they want. The software is pretty easy to use once you learn the system and go through the program and definitely impresses clients. Every single client I've had so far has commented on how much this software has helped the decision making process. Cons There's a bit of a learning curve with the software, but there is with any software.
