Pros: It showed a lot of promise when we were first looking at it

Cons: Inconsistent in which bids it notified us about and which ones it didn't. We kept missing bids, only to find out about them later through simple online searches. And it wasn't due to a misalignment in codes as the customer support team will suggest. The bids were nowhere to be found on the bidsync platform, yet we found them online with search engines or on competitors' portals. And we frequently didn't receive notifications of a bid opportunity until 3 or 4 weeks after it was published, not giving us enough time to respond.

Overall: Customer service is terrible. They tout fairness and then don't offer any refunds when their service is terrible and isn't meeting expectations. We'll never use them again and will never recommend to anyone.

Pros: I treat bidSync as my closed friend. It alerts me for available bids in market that otherwise would not have been disclosed to me.

I personally think that one subscription of BidSync compensates a team of ten business development guys.

Cons: The software does not help for all parts of the World. For example, I need similar assistance from Canada, Australia and UK markets and BidSync can not help me for these locations.

Overall: BidSync helps me find right bids in right time and thus I am able to submit my quotes efficiently.

Pros: The email alerts come quite regularly and those seem dependable. They seem to provide more opportunities on the west coast and then the east or central coast.

Cons: It used to be so much better. Now they are missing a lot of bids for my business and seem to have no good reason. I have lost revenue for my business depending solely on them and found more from other alert services lately.

Pros: It's a great site for responding to RFP questionnaires.

Cons: A lot of the bid sites seem to be a little confusing to navigate around. This one is no exception.

Comments: Site is very difficult to operate. They either quoted me incorrectly or I misread it onsite. Paid $500.00 and had to call my cities procurement department to find out they had posted a RFP 2 weeks prior and I never got as much as an email from BIDSYNC.

Upon getting a human on the phone and getting past language barrier I assume all was solved.

I had to call them again and get them to send me a final statement.......they had debited my bank for another $350.00 approx. in fees.

So after spending $850.00 I had to hire a lawyer. One phone call and all was fixed.

Comments: They were a shoddy service with a difficult to use website. I tried canceling them 3 times using voicemails and emails and they still billed me. Not only that, they raised my price after once promising that they would lock in rates. Maybe because I was canceling. Getting my money back was almost impossible, had to break through an iron tight call center where nobody could help me. At some point they offered me 90% back and apologized. Unfortunately that was after about 10 hours of effort. I found another service that is around the same cost but so much better.

Comments: Linked bids not available on government websites

Links broken, requiring a manual search (very time intensive)

Linked bids that had already expired

Inability to provide customer support solutions to include providing the actual RFP's or providing the RFP's that they claimed were available

Keyword searching was manual

Missed two important state bids and couldn't explain why

Less than stellar customer service

No money-back guarantee

Using a less costly solution now with all the attributes I need. Totally shocked by the service and how I was treated.

Worthless awful software ripping people off and ran by a terrible team with terrible represntatives.

Pros: Really nothing. I tried it out briefly and it was awful, a complete rip off with horrible customer service.

Cons: Trying to cancel it. It was a nightmare to get my money back and felt completely scammed by the customer service team.

Comments: They charge you a yearly subscription and on the renewal they change you full amount no matter what, they don't give you your money back and make it very hard for you to get your money back from the bank, on top of that when you get something to bid on you have to pay for the bid process as well, this is never told to you during the sales pitch, Read up on what the employees have to say they even say its fraud happening to the customers, My advice, Stay away unless you want to be changed in full for something that you cant use.

Comments: This company is a fraud as far as I am concerned. I paid 499.00 for them to send me a list of municipal bids for the company I work for to bid on. Well what they do is they list them and send you to the website where you are asked to pay again to download the actual bid. That is quite a racket they have going.

Pros: So far, I am not seeing anything much that I like, but I am a beginner to this software.

Cons: For beginners, this software is not very intuitive. I use a lot of proposal software and this should not be hard for me, but it is.

Overall: We only use BidSync for companies that demand their proposals are submitted through BidSync. I understand that companies want proposals in a certain format and we try to conform. I always feel uncomfortable when I am using it and I think it irritates me to have to pay for this software when we have a great platform of our own. The only problem it solves for us is that it allows us to make business proposals to companies who demand this format.
