I feel taken advantage of, due to lack of trust and frustration of not being able to login for example due to more errors in the system daily. Its all getting very frustrating. Pros Its reports are by far the best for cacfp center programs. I get audited every 3 years and I do fantastic because of their reports features. So simple and smooth every single time. Cons I hate absolutely hate the customer service. All they have is a chat feature. If you call you have to google search deep to find a phone number, which takes you straight to a voicemail. Never ever get a call back ever. And it takes weeks for them to fix errors that occur. So frustrating. Currently waiting on error that is going on 3 weeks. Pros What I like most about KidKare Food Program is the ease of use! You can log daily menus are upload a whole month at a time! Cons I have nothing to complain about KidKare Food Program! It’s very user friendly and helps me keep track of what the kids ate, who’s all here, and the monthly calendar is a great tool too. I was a little intimidated by it at first but one I learned the ropes it was easy! Pros It’s super user friendly. I like the side bar hat jays out all your options so your able to quickly get to where you are going! It makes checkin in kids and logging food each day a breeze. Nothing new so not sure why the price went up. Our county agency mentioned this at a meeting. Pros I love the ease of use after you use it for a bit. You do have remember the exact name of the forms you need to print etc... overall very basic and easy to learn. Lots of video to explain as well. Customer service has grown greatly. I think their customer grew so rapidly they got overwhelmed in the beginning. Doing great now. Cons I wish their was a better defined drop drown list for files you need to copy each month for your own records. I’m still clicking around finding the forms. It's also easy to put the menu's in because it will come up read if you are missing a component for any meal. I have not utilized the bookkeeping programming yet I am thinking about pursuing that. As I expressed, the client support side is the main destruction up until this point. I haven't needed to utilize the client support for some time so I expectation it has improved. Pros I love the simplicity and accessibility on various gadgets to record my dinners and participation. Cons Customer administration is exceptionally moderate when you do require help...it takes days and once in a while weeks to find no solution most occasions. Extremely baffling no doubt. Love that I can access it from my phone or tablet. I like that my teachers can login and complete attendance. Cons I hate the look of the invoices. The web address at the bottom confuses my clients, they try to login to it. I also don't like the look of the new invoices, they are small and crammed up into the top 2/3 of the page. I miss having a report to print for birthdays, emergency contacts, etc. I would also like to see a printable weekly attendance schedule. We fill in the hours the child is in care in their general info, the software should be able to print out a daily or weekly roster with those hours filled in. " December 10, 2018 5.0 Not having a ton of paper claims to keep and store has been extremely helpful. I log in everyday to enter my meals and it's a lot faster as I can type faster then I can write! Pros I like that it's so easy to use and go back to check your work. I'd been doing paper claims for 18 yrs and finally went to KidKare last year and wondered why I waited so long Cons I haven't come across anything yet that has frustrated me about this software. Pros Software is easy to use. The best part is the supportive and friendly staff. They are so helpful. Cons None. I like this software alot. It is helpful in keeping a count of days that kids come and the meals they are served. The reports allow you to see a child's attendance at a single glance. Pros It is not a cluttered program. Not too many items on each window. Easy to see what you are looking for. Very easy to put in meals and attendance. Cons You have to use military time for PM or put pm after each entry. Ok as I know military time. Not so good for others. Also in the infant menu you have to click twice to put in food name or number. In the non infant portion, the pointer goes straight to the line to put in food name/number. It is not possible to go straight back and forth between meals served and child's in/out time. This would be nice to check to see if you put a child in or forgot. I have no problem entering all of my information daily. It's super easy to follow and there's always help a phone call away. Cons I think the thing I like least is that you can't enter information the next day without assistance. Receive updates current. Great Great. If their is something I don't understand, our rep is great. Pros the best and easy program for daily use. I am not the smartest computer person, I have no problems using the site. And it is free. Daily meals are entered and my end of the month is submitted with a blink. I don't have the best hand writing, I know the people on the end that would have to read my hand print is happy also. Thank you so much. Cons sometimes the site is slow. Owner Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Terrible system since switching from Minute Menu--They can't seem to get things to work properly." December 1, 2017 1.0 only headaches thus far. Pros I like that this is a web-based program so it is accessible from any device & because of this, I especially like that my parents can check their child in very easily on a designated tablet. Cons This is the same company that owned Minute Menu. They tested this program for many months before completely discontinuing Minute Menu. Because of that, one would assume the program actually worked. Where do I start on the "Cons"? ... For starters, the program randomly doesn't save data that was previously saved, such as the meals & times entered for the children in care (a requirement necessary to submit to the USDA Food Program), the forms & reports this program offers are a slim selection from what the MM program offered which most often results in significantly more time added to my work load. Don't expect an actual receipt to give to parents after posting payments to accounts. All you will get is a statement of account, not an itemized receipt which is common practice when receiving payments in a business. Plan to add time in having to hand write on every statement what payment was made, the form of payment, etc. Beware of this ridiculous program. " January 22, 2018 1.0 Pros It's almost better than nothing. But not quite. Due to an unfortunate government contract, I am required to use this system. I was previously using pen and paper to report childcare attendance and meals. This is astoundingly worse than that. Cons Terrible user interface. Updates are slow and sloppy, leaving numerous errors for the user to fix. Server gets bogged down. Too much personal information is required for children and their families. Menus and functions are confusing and poorly designed. There is nothing good or useful about this system at all in any way and the creator should feel bad about himself.
