It's an amazing product that I will be using indefinitely. It's improved my efficiency and has made my job easier when those last minute rushes arise. Pros The ability to issue individual virtual cards for online purchases. In the past, we would share a corporate card with multiple users so they could make online purchases when invoices weren't available. However, that shared card with eventually have fraudulent charges and my belief was the fraud was performed by individual I shared the card with. Pros Handy mobile app that does not require a-lot of user input to submit expenses. Cons Card holds! Everytime your card is used on a hold like a hotel, it comes up as a charge that you need to upload a receipt on, even after the hold disappears it still sits there waiting to be approved. I have more time to worry about other things! Pros I used to have to find receipts and fill out expense sheets for several employees and pray it all matched up. Now with Divvy, I am able to check everyday in real time at the spending and ask for receipts right away! Cons Trying to figure out how to export all receipts out in one file Review Source JM Joy M. Pros I like using this system. As an administrator for a non profit it gives me the authorization to let others have a card but in a very convenient way I can monitor spending. I also like that a card can be virtual and not have to worry about a physical card getting into the wrong hands. Cons Set up and learning is always a process. Pros It comes with the mobile app, it is quick and user friendly. Cons Sometimes, it is hard to navigate on the software unless you have been practicing on the website. VP Accounting & Finance Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Divvy was the solution to several of our issues" March 28, 2018 4.0 This card was selected only because we wanted an expense reporting system that didn't cost any money and then we've found other benefits to the card so we've distributed it further than we had orginally anticipated. Pros Love that we can snap a picture of the receipt and do away with taping receipts to paper! Also, like the "instantly code" an expense rather than waiting until the end of the month to code all credit card charges. Love the budget by card feature so allow small charges to be made by individuals who would not normally get a credit card - giving them a limit to buy some gas or supplies is much better than processing their expense reports submitted because they needed to use their personal card or cash for minor purchases. Also love the download to QuickBooks is item specific so when Audit makes their selections it is a single charge and not the total of several charges hitting a specific GL account like we have now because we use pivot tables to summarize the monthly charges on a single credit card. Cons The fact that we need to select a category and then subsequently select and account is an unnecessary step - we just want to code our charges to an account directly. Also - splitting charges between departments and codes is not possible within the application which is a problem for us. Also - the credit card payments are pulling weekly from our bank so we aren't getting the cash float we used to get by paying at the end of the month. Review Source KB Kyle B. COO Retail Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Divvy - business credit cards as they should be" November 9, 2018 5.0 Pros Divvy bridged the glaringly obvious gap between the benefits of credit cards, and trying to apply them in a business setting.There was never a good way to manage multiple accounts, departments, and company spending in one place until we started using Divvy. Now I can manage department budgets, allocate funds, and classify purchases all in one platform. Cons Divvy is fairly new, and, with all new software companies, there are bugs that need to be fixed. Huge fan. Pros The Divvy platform achieves exactly what our company desired to have. A system to budget, assign specific funds to certain people, and to track spending. It accomplishes precisely what we needed for so long prior to having Divvy and we're thankful to have it. Cons Using the app, you have to log in and out to see changes and updates - ie, if you want to see something refresh in the app, you have to log back out and back in (when using your the app). Cons It was a bit confusing getting set up for some employees (verification steps) which led to some purchases being declined. Was quickly resolved by Divvy customer support. Made it super easy to issue and manage corporate credit cards. Pros Divvy gives me complete control of the credit card use of each employee. Divvy gives me full visibility and implementation of our expense policy. Customer service is great. Our rep monitors our account and when transactions get declined for whatever reason, they quickly follow-up to make sure that the problem is resolved. Cons QuickBooks integration still requires WebConnect files instead of DirectConnect. Statements are difficult to work with. Pros Divvy is simple. Simple to set up, simple to use, simple to administer. The ability to customize fields was crucial for simplifying the reporting process. The dashboard puts all pertinent info right in front of you. Walking through the implementation and customization in person with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] gave us confidence in the software and our ability to maximize the benefits. Cons There could be a better training tutorial for those people who are users but not administrators. Their reporting has improved, which is important for accountants. Divvy continues to add new functionality. Pros No fees for the company, and they in fact give cash back! You can have a mix of virtual and physical cards. Syncs with QuickBooks Online. Cons Bills are approved based on the budget, but no approval process to make sure the bill submitted is valid. Often bills are entered by a bookkeeper, but a manager needs to approve to make sure they did use the vendor and it is for the agreed-upon-amount. Divvy is working on this.
