Outside of that, they are there to help if I need them and they leave me alone otherwise. Pros I like that there is an app, that I can attach receipts, that I can see what I've spent, that I can refer back to spending easily, and that I can pull my bills for review. This company is amazing - great customer service and easy to use chat feature on the website finds a solution to any question I have. Divvy credit cards and app have optimized our agency's expense management process while saving us at least 15 hours a month of manual processing. Uploading receipts is easy to do and our agency learned to categorize expenses and request reimbursements within a few weeks of showing them the process. I highly recommend this company/system/credit card to anyone and everyone I know! Cons Nothing! Absolutely love Divvy! There is nothing wrong with divvy. December 15, 2022 5.0 I am very happy with Divvy and would not want to go back to what we were using before. Pros I love how easy it makes expense reporting and tracking. Cons I wish the integration with Sage Intacct was simpler to implement. It is available and it does work, but we have struggled to get it running smoothly. That said, manually uploading transactions is fairly simple, so this is not a major con. Staff were able to get started using their cards and coding/attaching receipts with minimal training. I hear positive reviews from staff on the ease of use and that translates to high policy compliance rates. Th interest in Divvy to continually improve and expand the product is amazing. I mentioned a need we have and a few weeks later I am talking to a development team on how this should work. Cons The conversion to a budget owner set up for corporate cards was new to us and did take some time working out how this would work in our environment. But once we had it set- it is working wonderfully for us. We are getting ready to test mileage reimbursement which open the platform up to a larger group of staff. Review Source Kevin M. Finance Director Religious Institutions Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Divvy is a great product" October 28, 2019 5.0 It has eliminated missing receipts and automatically posts expenses to our accounting system (Quickbooks Online). Virtual cards eliminate overcharges and fraud. Pros We have had problems with volunteers and staff turning in credit card receipts. That is now a thing of the past - finally! It has totally eliminated that problem. When there is a missing receipt, now I know it within a couple days instead of a couple months. The users love it too because they don't have to worry about saving and turning in receipts as well. Just take a picture of it at the time of sale and they are done! The recent integration with Quickbooks was HUGE for us. Now most data entry of expenses is automatic as well. Very easy to use most of the time, and it's free! Cons Getting the hang of allocating budgets can be tricky. And if you have a budget used by multiple people it presents additional challenges trying to allocate funds between multiple people. Auto payments take a few days to free up funds. And virtual subscription cards don't reset until first business day of the month, which can be a problem if charges are attempted on the 1st and it is a weekend. Review Source DJ Dinesh J. Also rewards points is cherry on the top. December 15, 2022 5.0 This is a great product with good service to back it up and continual support. Pros Divvy was very easy to set up and integrate into our business. The program is easy to understand and replaced many of the manual process this company had. Cons We have not ran into any snags at this time. Reason for choosing BILL Spend & Expense We were not really shopping yet for this type of product, but had it on the list of things to do. A representative continually was reaching out by email to get me to do a demo for most of this year (2022). He finally sent an email that had something catchy in the title so I decided to write back and let him know he had my attention. It's done on the fly, immediately after I spend. Pros My favorite feature in Divvy is the fact that I get to take a picture of a receipt then get rid of it. It's that easy. The transactions import to our accounting software with the click of a button, allowing users to code their own expenses without additional manual intervention. Receipts can be required so that purchases are properly documented, and manager approval is also a great way to make sure spending is staying in control. This software has many of the features I was used to with my previous large organization, without the burdensome cost. If I had to do it all over again, I would would have wished I did it sooner. Pros Using Divvy has allowed us to organize our brand's budgets in a way that will enable our team to have access to the money they need while at the same time giving transparency to the leaders in the organization so we can be stewards of the brand. The ease of use and ability to distribute funds immediately have been a breath of fresh air for the team. I also love that I can see how much money is left in each budget so I always know how much money there is left. I also love the ability to make changes to spending limits, or accounts directly on the website. Any other card, we would have to get on the phone with customer service to make these changes, which was headache and a waste of time. I love the digital cards we can create for our online payments/ transactions. Cons The recurring vs one-time limits were hard to get used to. This has improved over the last couple of years though. It has given flexibility to those that travel while giving the flexibility to get things done without having to worry that one of the 3 corporate credit cards is floating around being used by a random employee. Pros Divvy has been great for our organization. We have been able to move away from reimbursements and have been able to give spending flexibility to everyone within our organization. We love being able to give every employee a card, but not having to worry that they are going to overspend. And possibly, one of my favorite features of any software ever is the ability to create virtual cards (both for subscriptions and burner cards for one time purchases). Its nice to know that I can cancel a virtual card and not have it affect other vendor payments. Cons There is a little bit of a lack of hierarchy available (like an administrator over certain budgets only) and a lack of flexibility with paying down our account (holds placed on account effectively freezing our cards) but other than that, it has been great! Operations MGMT Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Seriously the Best App our Business Found, for Anything" June 9, 2021 5.0 Pros If you're a small business with big monthly expenses, and petty cash headaches, Divvy is a no-brainer. Each of our field techs have a card we can control from the office, or divvy out funds as needed. As a small family business, this cut down on half our office work (and my mother no longer goes through receipts in the office; she can just retire) Divvy integrates with Quickbooks well, but here's the thing... we didn't even integrate it. Its simpler for us to keep it totally independent from other accounting software, because working in Divvy's web app is a joy. The UI is simple and great. All of our company payables and receipts management stays on Divvy, and our bank account shows one payment per week for Payables. That's it. The purchase info can't be messed up with bad OCR, because the info comes from the Bank account. Cons Nothing. So far it's perfect for us. We haven't been able to mess anything up yet. It is very easy to set up many people with a company credit card that has spending limit customizations. You can also implement various budgets and incorporate your chart of accounts to manage spending by account. Receipt uploading is also really simple and it serves as a great storage option for receipts and other support. It has made keeping up with CC transactions and receipts so easy. The ability to allocate funds to individual budgets and card holders has made it easy to control how much everyone can spend. Reconciling CC transactions to your other financial platforms is also a snap. Pros Receipt capture, spend is immediately available, virtual cards Cons The rewards has a requirement to spend 30% of available limit to receive the reward. This could be done away with. Our team doesnt have to worry a lot about keeping receipts physically or in folders, they just upload it and forget about it. It allows to sync so easily to QBO that our accounting team is also benefiting from it. It helps to keep track of the budgets and who can spend from them Pros How easy is for users and admins to log and categorize and manage the spending. Also the features are very helpful for separating the budgets and types of expenses. I like the download of reports because that way I can see all the spending of just one budget. Cons That it might be lacking some automatization when it comes to recurring expenses. Also sometimes the chat takes a lot of time to get a hold of someone.
